almost two weeks ago I think, due to binge-watching a show that after the first 6 seasons, left me jaded, because all loves turned eventually to betrayals, and in the meantime it's amazing anyone could do anything besides woohoo, because every time you turn around someone else is doing yet another someone else, (unless they have just died...it's all woohoo and death) and EVERYONE wants to get into the pants of the main female character, she's just so darned special. But all vampire series seem to have that in common: powerful males fighting over some hapless female who gets herself into stupid situations so she can be rescued, and the underlying premise is she must be so hot, everyone wants her. *snort*
BTW, they do make vegan marshmallows, so if you want smores, you can have them I don't like them vegan or no because marshmallows are way too sweet.

If I recall, it was Halloween Night, and they were so severe, with such high winds, that a tree was uprooted on my street, and lay across 4 power lines the next day.

I told my mother I loved her while she was dying, nearly Halloween, 2018. I can't know if she heard me, but I did it anyway, in case. We had a complicated relationship, but I did love her regardless.
As for my late father, I never uttered those words to him in my life, nor would it ever have made any sense to do so. He was a genuine psychopath and did not love. To him, I was nothing but a mistake, and if he noticed me, a potential target, and to me, he was nothing but a threat, and it wasn't even personal. He was like a scorpion waiting in your shoe, or a rattlesnake behind the next rock. Detection and avoidance were the best strategies. Hearing about his untimely death from someone else, years ago, I couldn't actually be sad. The world being down one more evil plumhole, was not a bad thing. I know there are going to be people who will believe that he had to have loved me on some level, but that idea is only possible for those who have never known a true psycho.
