Bridgeport's Blake Freeman. I am guilty of ignoring the poor service sims, but today I decided to take Blake into CAS...I was not disappointed! What a cutie!
@Emily4331 I had no idea who he was so I looked at his wiki and I realize that I had seen him before but I would totally have overlooked him. You did a fabulous job on him!
Parker Langerak just aged up in my save so I took him into CAS for a makeover. He's very ugly and I tried to be very delicate with my tweaks because I didn't want to make him unrecognizable. God help me if I decide to keep the Langeraks in my made over SV
As an adult, his features get even more pronounced. He's not exactly a beauty, but he's of a very common Mediterranean type. He just got a child with Pauline Wan in my game, and I'm already curious how that one will look like.
Anyway, the hook nose isn't really visible in your pics, and I guess you left that one untouched.
@Turjan I did keep his hook although I did make a couple of small tweaks to his nose because I can't abide noses which are too close to the mouth. The difference is small but it's almost enough for me to cope with
I can only imagine how ugly a child with Pauline Wan would be! You should post a pic when the baby is born.
It kept bugging me that Parker as a female reminded me of someone I had seen recently on one of my streaming marathons and it just occurred to me that she looks like Erica Cerra
@Turjan Not watching TV doesn't seem natural to me I can't live without my Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and STAN
I remember my excitement when colour television was introduced in Australia. I was in my teens and my dad went out and spent money we didn't have so we could have one of the first in the neighbourhood
Thanks @Emily4331 I agree that the braided hair and brows don't do a lot for lady Parker but I keep whichever hair is rolled on gender switching if it is off the face. I then try to remember which hair and brows were on the first switch so I have consistency for the makeover pics. I don't think I have ever used that particular hair by choice!
@Mikezumi Thanks, I had actually googled her. She really looks a bit like him. It's the part around the eyes and the nose.
Regarding TV, I still remember the first moon landing. Oh, and the start of color TV, too. I watched a lot of TV in my younger years. I lost the habit when I was living in the US (of all places) for a number or years. I found all those ads during films grating, stopped watching, and at some point, I simply didn't miss it anymore. When I returned to Europe, I couldn't get into it again, either.
@Turjan I actually found TV fascinating when I lived in the US for 15 years. I think it was because I wasn't used to having so many channels and my husband liked getting the premium cable packages. Not that I watched a lot because I was raising a child but I did watch it while my son was at school or when I couldn't sleep at night.
I think that I could make Parker's female counterpart into a good Erica with just a few tweaks but I am not really interested in making female sims. When I populate a town from scratch I tend to use males I have made, gender-switched to keep the population balanced
When I was looking around Lucky Palms I realized I must have done some makeovers previously because Donnovan Steel looked very familiar when I took him into CAS. I will need to look at my old sim files (I have several folders of sim files ). I think he would make a nice addition as a town filler in a new save because he makes a cute female too [
Given the hair colouring, I thought a slightly ruddy complexion would suit her most
Morty just had his teen birthday. The pics aren't close up but the original age up pic is him in his natural state. He's actually thinner than he looks because I took the pic just before the post birthday stretch
@Turjan The Bunches are an unfortunate looking family Arlo is particularly difficult to edit while trying to retain something of his original look. My only attempts have made him look so different he might as well have been a different sim.
Pity Morty blinked

After:
I’ve changed her look a number of times using different hairs

Calling it "townie makeovers" is probably a bit of a stretch, but these are my latest iterations of Jamie and Gobias, Twilight edition.

First was Arlo, this time not via genetics, but by trying to have him somehow still resemble his former self. Barely.
I guess I should change the jaw a bit more.
His sister Darlene doesn't need much, if at all.
Ethan.
I'm happy I don't have to tackle this, as she's already dead in my current SV game. Ethan's wife Kaylynn Langerak.
VJ Alvi, who doesn't really need much.
As he was standing there, Gunther. I hardly touched anything though.
His wife Cornelia, but I'm not happy with her yet.
Mortimer. He blinked.
I also went over Parker Langerak, Madison VanWatson, Hank Goddard and Pauline Wan, but forgot to take pics. Maybe another time.
