      A little, I just have some similarities.
      Not my avatar, obviously I'm not a fairy :p BUT hopefully I will have fairy sims later this year (so happy if we do!) I have 2-3 sims that are made as sim-selves, although I'm not very good at creating sims after real people. She has nicer clothes too :p

      Haven't used him as an avatar, but I did create a simself not long ago!

      Of course it does.
      Not sure if this is about my avatar (as in: my profile picture here) or my sim (as in: simself), because they're not the same, and that blowfish in my picture is obviously not me. But my simself does look a lot like me, except a little better dressed.

      I never even knew that anyone ever created themselves as sims until I had been playing for a couple years. Totally surprised me when I found out because that idea had honestly never occurred to me. When I first started playing, I just immediately made up characters for a story that had nothing to do with me.

      Of course, the avatar I'm currently using for this forum looks exactly like me :wink:

      No, I have used my cats and 3d models of characters I have created at present my avatar is my cat, Calvin.
      Playtesting - not just tabletop games and card games any more. Really that should have been playtested in Beta and not [img]just with accounting and marketing but actual players. https://i.imgur.com/t48COW6.jpg[/img]

      It's close but not perfect -- the glasses aren't quite right and I need a haircut in real life. And both my husband and I are quite a bit older than in the avatar (we're closer to elder in RL).

      Not this avatar. We wear the same glasses but that's it.

      I do have a simself. Never played with because that's just not something I'm interested in. I'd rather place my simself in the world and run into her randomly when my sims are out and about.

      A little, I just have some similarities.
      My sim USED to look like me, but I made him when the CAS was released BEFORE the Sims 4 was - and I've aged since then. Despite being in good shape, unlike the Sims 4 aging does change your appearance a lot more then the Sims 4 system does lol. I've updated my sim self but not my avatar here. There is certainly a resemblance between my sim selfs, the new one just looks slightly older. It did teach me how to make Sims appear younger and older in CAS beyond just using the age button and clothing choices.

      I mean no she does not look like me at all if you'd compare but for some odd reason
      I always like to give my unrealistically doll like sims same hairstyle, haircolor, skin and eyecolor I have
      it kinda helps me relate to them more :confused:
      I never really feel familiar playing sim with blonde hair
      or sim with darker skin or sim with hair that does not have bangs
      and that is really the big issue that causes my sim cities to slowly turn into weird places of similiar sims
      where it wouldn't be weird if they all were related

      if however there is sim with different genetics it is most likely dude though :confused:
