The Sims 3 (Seasons) continues to astound me! :o

So just to get you situated....I have been playing a save of two parents and their child and they are living in Twinbrook. It's Autumn right now and for the past few days there has been a huge storm that hit the town. It has been raining for days, it's dark and cloudy and occasional lighting strikes throughout the neighborhood.

It just so happens though, that the town is getting completely flooded!

Houses near the shore of the river and lake and throughout the swamps of Twinbrook are being overrun with water. I never even knew there was such thing in TS3, the sea level literally rises and small lakes start to form near the shores. There's barely anyone on the streets and fewer cars seem to be driving outside. I love this level of detail I never knew these sorts of disasters could happen in TS3.

That is pretty darn awesome, I get so sick of the rain in a new save I usually shut it off pretty quick, but the flooding is something I’d love to see.

I never even knew this could happen after all this time. Never had a storm before!

And since my sims are a ghost hunter and a firefighter this weather just turns my gameplay to an eleven ahaha Feels like there's a real sense of danger in the town and the mood is just great for ghost hunting.

What you now require is a Level 10 Inventor with one of those noisy mining contraptions to drill holes all over the world. Then the water can drain out and fall on Shang Simla or someplace else.

I love listening to rainstorms. I still remember when Seasons came out and the big thunderous booms from the thunder and lightning made me jump! I can't remember ever seeing it flood in game like that. So darn cool!

I am definitely going to try giving my sims a very rainy season, and see if I can get that kind of flooding in their home world.

This is amazing!! I never knew it could flood to that extent in the game

I'll have to try this out in my game. It's about to head into Fall soon so fingers crossed for some flooding

Oh, that looks awesome! I have a mod to reduce the amount of rain the game gets, because it was excessive when I first got Seasons, even in summer, so I've never seen this.
