I find it funny thar biscuit means clay in my language

    What's your language?

    ǝsǝnbnʇɹod

    é bom

And that is the only Portuguese I know.

Now i'm curious for what's the story behind this :joy:

Nada especial. The school I used to work in has a decent Filipino population and I was hunting around on Google translate for words in Tagalog. Just so I could yell at the kids and get them to stop being loud and obnoxious, you understand. I also have a dark wish to learn how to say 'eu não sei' in as many languages as possible. I also just like the way é bom sounds.

Oh... Muito interessante :joy: I don't find portuguese speakers on the gringo internet everyday :joy:

    Isn’t that a racial slur? I can’t remember.

Nope. It's simply a term for non-latinos we use in here

Ah okay. I thought so but I couldn’t Denver.

I hope you can Denver soon XD

    Today's Q Q is:
When you were little, did you ever think there was a monster under your bed or in your closet?

Okay, now i have to ask:
Do you know the difference between
    Porque
    Por que
    Porquê
    and
    Por quê?

I didn't until, like, last year :joy:

    I know that means “why”

Yo hablo español. Lo aprendí hace tiempo. Nunca aprendí portugués.

Porque/Porquê complicar uma pergunta tão difícil? xD

    That’s ‘why’.

Não posso escrever em espanhol porque eu nunca aprendi.

    That’s ‘because’.

I know in Brazil people use ‘por que’ as ‘why’ but ‘porque’ in European Portuguese can mean both ‘why’ and ‘because’.

Porquê also means ‘razão’, ‘explanação’ or ‘causa’?

    This question is hard. :joy:

No, but I had a captain's bed (the one with the drawers in the frame) so that's probably why. I didn't have an under the bed.
