Just wanted to give a little update as I've been rather scarce lately. My life has been insanely crazy with Lions Club stuff. I was out of town for two trips, almost back to back. Second trip, our charter bus had a near fender-bender. The driver was a tailgater and stopped VERY suddenly when a car stopped fast in front of us. I thought we were going to crash into it for sure. Anyway, the force of it sent me sprawling to the floor where I racked up my right knee and shoulder pretty good. The gal across the aisle in front of me did a nice faceplant in back of the seat in front of her and scratched up her glasses. A few others got scrapes and bruises but thankfully, nobody was seriously hurt. I went to immediate care once I got home and was told my shoulder had a bad strain. Sooo, I got me some nice muscle relaxers and prescription Motrin. My back issues flared up again, too, so I was down for the count for a couple days. I'm feeling human again so now, I'm trying to play catch up. It didn't help that my Sims 3 decided to take a dive so I had to totally rebuild my Sims 3 Folder. Luckily, I back everything up so I didn't lose anything. It was just a pain to try to figure out what the problem was and then reinstall all my content. Ironically though, it runs like a dream - well, as much as Sims 3 CAN run like a dream. LOL! And the nice part was that I was able to take it back to patch 1.67 rather than the 1.69 which seems to be the one everyone hates. So far, so good. Sooo, I plan to have my Sims crank out some letters next week (this weekend is shot already so no Sims for me). Plus, I'll be working on my stories some more so should have some nice updates out very soon.
I hope everyone is doing well, and I wish you all a lovely weekend
Yay! I'm glad you were able to figure out computer issues figured out for Sims 3
And yay that you're feeling better from the crash/whiplash?
Sheesh, yeah! It was a job, let me tell ya! It's been a while since I've had to rework it, and let's hope it's even longer before the next time.
I don't think it was whiplash. I think whiplash happens in your neck. I banged my knee and my shoulder was strained because I tried to catch myself. But yeah, nonetheless, I'm doing much better.
I thought whiplash was just when your thrown forward suddenly because of a sudden stop xD
Nope. It happens BECAUSE you're thrown forward and back suddenly but it's your neck that's affected. I don't know the ins and outs of it but I think it throws something off and people that get it are often in a neck brace for a certain amount of time. I was thrown forward but not back as I ended up sprawled on the floor in front of my seat. Not a fun position to be in. LOL!
Hi guys! And especially @MedleyMisty ! It took me way too much time (and I should have taken even more to actually draw decent pictures ), but I finally finished Tad's second letter to the darkness!

Sorry about being MIA for a time. Life has been quite busy lately and doesn’t help that I’ve been in a writing funk. Trying to get back at it so will be working on some pen pal letters. Lots to catch up on, guys, but we’ll get there. 😊

I'll try to get into the pen pal letter-writing mood again too. I feel like I'm a bit stuck with them because I made the mistake of setting the letters after a long time skip from my main story, so I don't have enough ideas about what's happening in my Pen Pal era. I'll try, though. I think I have some half-finished letters for your characters on my hard drive.

this reminds me of a funny story. ayden was in this as a 16 year old kid the first time. but the second he was 5. i had to start the benders over and cathtea still had 16 yr old ayden profile up.
i don't do this anymore cause even though its just weekends work went from fun to stressful.

Yeah, it was pretty scary. It happened so fast and could have been much worse. Thank you. it's nice to be feeling better and back at it.
