No pack because I think they wait for the Console team.
The goal may be an improvement of the development in order to release the upcoming packs at the same date for PC/Mac and Console.
Previously the delay between The Sims 2 PC and Mac versions caused EP7 FreeTime and EP8 Apartment were never released for Mac because The Sims 3 was the highest priority.
Maybe they try to avoid to repeat it.

I dunno. More people own macs nowadays compared to 2008 or whatever. I feel like since then they just make them simultaneously and the process of converting them is probably easier.
