Seasons CDkeys Issue

«1
So, I tried pre ordering seasons today from CD keys since it has a good price. I even got a code for 5% off. However, when I pre ordered, the purchase went through, I was charged for it, but the pre order did not. I contacted their support, and they told me there was some technical error so they had to issue me a refund and gave me a code for an additional $9 off. I tried pre ordering again, but now I can't even do that as everytime I do I get the message "PayPal gateway has rejected request. Payment has already been made for this InvoiceID" I have tried everything from changing my Paypal settings, to changing browsers, trying to purchase on my phone. Nothing is working. My only form of Payment I can use is Paypal. Has anyone here ever encountered this? What can I do? I can't try other payment methods, as I don't have a credit card or skrill account. Paypal is the only option I have.

Personally I buy Sims 4 cards which then add the money to your EA wallet, you just have to enter the code on the card.

I live in Canada, there are no Sims 4 Cards where I live. I'm getting a good deal through this site, $27 for Seasons. If I buy through Origin at regular price it will be $59. Just looking for help on this.

Sorry, I've never seen this error with Cdkeys. Your best bet would be contacting PayPal and/or CDkeys support.

I would suggest contacting support again.

I did get a resolution, but I had to make a new account in order to purchase. I could not find out what to do to resolve the issue, cdkeys support had no idea what was going on that was causing it, so I decided to make a new account, and only then could I get the order to go through.

:# Please be careful using CDKeys. I’ve never used it, and even though others have succuessfully, it would really suck to have the money you invested in your Origin account be ripped away. $27 is a great deal, but those deals probably add up to an impressive amount of cash. Not trying to sit on a high horse, but my heart drops imagining if that happened to me.

It’s separate from Origin. Once the product is released you are emailed the valid product code to redeem in origin for download.

I've used cd keys, 3 or 4 times for Sims 4 now and had no problem. I heard the problem was with a similar sounding site, cjs-cdkeys.

I pre-ordered cats and dogs. You should get an email straight away with a link in it that will take you to the download. But it'll just say something along the lines that the download will be available on the 22nd. (Or whatever day it is released.)

Hope you get it sorted. I intend on doing the same with seasons.

I've used the UK cdkeys a heap of times. That's where I'm getting Seasons from too! Bargain price of £19 instead of Origin's extortionate £35.

I’m aware. Though if some have said they experienced chargeback and their accounts being locked afterwards, I think it’s a good idea to use caution and know what’s at risk.

Is it legit/trust worthy? $27 for an expansion not even out yet sounds too good to be true. I never heard of them before. Some places you have to be careful about while others do have good service. ratings, etc...

Yes, they are legit and trustworthy. They've been around for a while now.

They are a legit source. I’ve bought from them before and it was a smooth experience. They tend to have lower prices than your standard retail outlet or Origin/Amazon, the pricing varies pack to pack though.

Indeed. I used to always buy Sims games from third-party retailers, but my most recent purchase resulted in a chargeback and the game in question being removed from my Origin library, so now I don't think I'll bother - and I'm definitely not paying £35 for it. I'll just wait until it goes on sale/gets bundled/gets cheaper overtime as every other expansion pack has (even Cats and Dogs is now only £21 on Amazon so I might just buy it).

:( I’m sorry that happened, especially after so many have great experiences but you’re the one person that doesn’t get as lucky. I feel like that’d happen to me if I used it. So I’ve been getting my expansions on sale as well. But with Seasons I can see the temptation of not wanting to wait for a sales and buying third party instead. I just hate the thought of paying money only to have it wasted because the code was revoked.

Instant-Gaming also has very interesting prices and is safe. I got the base game with Cats and Dogs for 38 euros :) But Origin is still the safest place.

I think PayPal was preventing you from purchasing again for security purposes. I once made too many purchases from one store in the same day and PayPal temporarily locked me out.

which is why I don't want a paypal account. Like the OP I'm in Canada and I had to use InstantGaming to buy bundles to get packs and I'm STILL waiting to get Laundry day. There apperently is a new Option through Origin which is Interact and all that's need is one Zip code/Postal Code

Eh, it's okay - you live and learn! Yeah, I can see why people want to buy it immediately - the temptation is there, I have to admit. Seasons is looking like the best pack yet for TS4.

I bought many Stuff Packs, Game Packs, and Expansion Packs through them. I got Steam games there and even Battlefield 4. I never had a problem even with preorders. They're a legit business and its a great place to save money on select products. Be aware things can go out of stock and not everything gets restocked.
    1. The Sims 2
    2. The Sims 3
    3. The Sims 4 (5 years later its decent)
    4. The Sims 1

Except this makes no sense. The key you are given doesn't come with purchase history. There is no way once given and used that origin would have any idea that a given key was charged back unless bought from the system. Cdkeys and other websites don't buy the keys from origin they buy them wholesale from ea.

I don't think Seasons will got out of stock (well besides maybe hard copies) as from my understanding, they are giving us the origin code for the digital download once the item is checked out and paid for (or I think they will send it through email on the day of release). I am guessing it depends on the game though.
