Thanks, @catloverplayer . I'm going to wait for the English-language original to be posted, though — I've learned not to trust Google Translate for accuracy. Some of what seems like information in that could in fact be wrong.
Boring fact: I recently wrote a 1200 word essay on the inaccuracies of online translations.
Lol, I don't envy you.
It's always been a fun game of my brother and myself to take a story and put it through 3 or 4 different translations on Google. The results are amazing.
Oh I know. Seeking out and laughing at translation fails is a hobby of mine. Someone once wrote a fanfic called something like "Sherlock scripts meet bad translator" which deliberately took advantage of such inaccuracies. The fic was hilarious.
Using subtittles (captions) is just as bad sometimes. I watched a few build videos for the sims and the subtittles are wrong if the person isn't speaking clearly. With my bad hearing not being able to hear what they're saying makes it really frustrating when the subtittles are wrong.

And a reminder (from me) that "expensive" in any software-development context means in any kind of project budget - e.g., staff hours for a particular department - not just in dollars. It's about choices made on where time goes above all. You get really used to this kind of language use if you work in software or other project-based, time-limited contexts (= both me and my husband, so it's super familiar here) but outside of it, it's a bit of a jargony use IMO.

plum, now I gotta make my lifespans even longer. Well babies are still aging up in 3 days cause I find them useless. Everyone else is going to be living extra long now I guess.
You ll be able to change how long the season last. 7 is just the default.
I know. But I was expecting the default to be 4 days with the ability to only make it shorter. I'm actually happy about it being longer, haha.
You know what I like about this picture? The way snow looks on the porch. There are more on the sides and it's smeared into the center, just as though the wind would do it.
Thanks to Luthienrising and everyone who has contributed to this topic. I am excited about the EP and having one place to come to for credible information is very helpful. I especially enjoy all the screenshots. I'll be back a lot to visit until Seasons is finally here. And once we see the Live Stream on the 15th I am sure we'll have even more to discuss and to be excited about. Have a great weekend!!!
LOL....I just went back and watched the trailer again. I was wondering if anyone else noticed falling snow is visible when looking out the windows? I have watched the trailer at least twenty times and missed that fun fact until now. I wonder what else I have been overlooking?
Thanks, guys! I *knew* I was going to bed too early last night

So ecited about the neighbor houses to have their own decorations between each season finally. I no longer be the only one who will have deco for winter, this makes me happy.

I wonder if that means that the game'll decorate for other houses inhabited by npcs or your own families that you're currently not playing, or only the ones that are normally just in the background.

Well that snow angel looks 10 times better than the one in the trailer.
Maybe they improved it. HA!
Ooh, I love the sparkles! It looks so pretty!

I was going to rework some households this week, but now I think I'm going to wait!
That would be so awesome.
yeah, means I'll have to redownload new stuff again, just like with cats and dogs.
