I wanted to build something for these AMAZING cat/dogs TheKalinotron made, so I came up with the scenario of a bed and breakfast where the guests could view the cats in the glassed in solarium, then decide whether they wanted to check into one of the 4 luxury suites and get to know them better.
The cats and their cat ladies

TheKalinotron did such an amazing job on these

Anyway, the house

3rd floor suites (Btw, that strange formation in the sitting area of the pastel suite is my sim and two cats lol)

1st floor suites (there are 3 of the other cats playing by the pool)

The cats look great! @Lianimal_1 The Bed and Breakfast house looks so very nice! The exterior design and the layout of the build looks so very great! It looks very creatively nice! Nice balconies with the statues on them. Very nice glass windowed and glass roofing areas with the plants growing there! It looks very nice! The flowers are nice touches on the outdoors edges of the glass windows. The waterfalls features in the courtyard look very pretty! Very nice layout and furnishing of each level of the build! The suites look very nice how they are designed. Very nice green colour scheme of the home.
Sims will enjoy staying there!
@Lianimal_1 thank you so much!!
That bed and breakfast looks amazing, I wouldn't mind visiting that at all lol! And that garden Also love the idea of putting those statues on the balcony!
Got another build done. I was trying my hand at a modern starter home, but failed miserably. The shell of the house alone was already 20k lol. So it ended up being a home for sims with a medium income.
Welcome to A Not So Starter!

Sorry for the bad pictures, was very difficult to crop those rooms.
The exterior design and layout of A Not so Starter is very nice! @LadyLana1 The wooden wall texture gives a nice look to the home and the yellow flowers are a sunny touch in the front area of the home. Very nice furnishing and layout of the interior roomd in the home. It is great that there is a study room where sims can enjoy sitting at the desk table using the computer, resting in the armchair reading a book or enjoy keeping fit using the treadmill. The hot chocolate items, fruit bowl and tea bags are homely touches in the kitchen. It is great that there is a bar stool counter there. Nice filled living room area for sims to enjoy watching tv with sunshine coming in through the windows. The green colour scheme of the master bedroom is very nice. The cherry blossom bedhead wall picture is very pretty for sims to wake up to and see. The armchairs nook in the other bedroom is great!
It is a very nice home
@Lianimal_1 I love the colors you have chosen for your cats and dogs, you bed & Breakfast looks amazing! @LadyLana1 beautiful modern, love the style and detail! @luckyheather the sping festival park looks amazing and what a wonderful idea we needed that for our sims! Beautiful and amazing creations from everyone! I so enjoy looking through this thread at everyone's amazing creations!
The design and layout of Sprng Festival looks very nice! Luckyheather Each of the areas of the Park looks great! I have posted about the build on your showcase thread.
Sorry, I forgot to take interior screenshots. I'll add those in next time. For anyone interested, you can see the interior in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CItJrrTGZ8A
British Thatched Cottage is such a very pretty home! NickSims The design of the exterior is very nice! The outdoors areas look very pretty with the colourful flowers! I have posted about your build on your showcase thread.
LadyLana, I madly love that you were able to work the jungle bed into a modern build, that's awesome!
LuckyHeather, I TOTALLY want to visit your park!
BreeMiles, thanks for your kind words, though I can't take credit for the cats. If you want to get to know them better, I'll give you and a guest a free night at the B&B! LOL
Can I make a suggestion that everyone adds the Gallery Link so we can comment and Fave what we like
Thanks everyone I am so pleased you like my Spring Park it was fun to do.
Stunning build @Lianimal_1 and I love the Cats! @NickSims what a beautiful Cottage and so real, I love your landscaping and the cottage beams! Im learning new things from you
Great non starter home @vrouwe_jess yes we all get that sometimes as starters are not as easy as we think Lol
First Pet Shop is a great shop for sims to own and run ! luckyheather The furnishing of the basement and ground level shop areas with the pet themed items looks great! It is great that there is a basement apartment level also.
I have posted on your showcase thread about the shop.
Thanks @rosemow I came across a picture of the Sims 3 Pet store that was free, so I based this little shop on that one, its more colourful and I wanted to make use of the lovely new Pets items we have thanks for your nice review its great to hear from you
@BreeMiles Ahh thank you for your kind words, and even for commenting! *fangirl eyes*
@Lianimal_1 Thats so funny, I usually just start making a room by picking a color theme and go from there. The jungle bed fitted perfectly lol!
@luckyheather Good idea! Ill make sure to insert a gallery link from now on. It does make it much easier to fav and comment, which I usually forget to do as soon as I head into my game.
@NickSims Your cottage looks lovely, I might have the perfect Sim(s) for it to live there. Is your origin ID the same as your forum ID?
Thank you @LadyLana1! My Origin-ID is "NickSimsYT". Don't forget to put bb.moveobjects on when placing it. Otherwise some plants will be deleted unfortunately.
LadyLana, I can't build a starter to save my life! I built a 30,000 home once, and it sucks so bad I don't want my worst enemy to have to live there! lol
