Gabriella's love for cats has not changed over in Oasis Springs, she still really wants to adopt one. And she might have found her cat soulmate, a large orange male cat who hangs around the house looking for for food. And Gabriella feeds him.
Yep, this is the cat she wants to adopt - he's perfect.
And before they know it, Aaron the cat has become part of the family. Since he's used to living outside, he's not very well trained.
But he clearly knows who his rightful owner is, and sleeps next to Gabriella's bed every night.
The rest of the family also soon grow fond of Aaron, even though he's not the easiest pet to have hanging around. He has no table manners, for starters.
Whenever there's food on the table, he's not shy - he jumps right up and starts eating from the plates.
He doesn't have much respect for the chairs either.
But he's so fluffy and adorable, the family can't find it in them to scold him. They are being way too tolerant with his mischief, so he'll probably only get worse over time...
Maria is also very fond of their dog. She's the one who's not planning to move out of the family home, but wants to take over her mother's bakery, so she kind of sees Elvis as hers.
Today she's taken a day off from the bakery to spend time outside with Elvis and her old love interest Chris.
After they've been on the water slide for a bit, Chis practices some basketball while Maria tries to teach Elvis to sit.
He's not doing very well. But they have a great time anyway, and Chris seems to be very fond of Maria.
But Maria has also rekindled an old flame from her teenage years, Isak Savalani. They've been going on some dates, and feeling the passion returning.
Isak was a stable and affectionate boyfriend who was always there for her even though he knew she was flirting around a little bit. So he should be a pretty safe bet for her, and she knows that very well.
Tony and Victoria are the two artistic souls in the family, and they're doing more and more practice together nowadays.
Their favorite place to hang out after school is the Oasis Springs art center.
But Tony won't have to do artwork as an after school activity any more, because it's the twins' birthday! They're trowing the party at home for once, and there's just enough room in the kitchen for all the guests.
So now Tony and Gabriella are young adults and ready for real life. They want to find a cosy little home together where Tony can explore his artistic talents and Gabriella can find a line of work to be passionate about.
Over in Windenburg, Timian the dachshund has been a bit of a pain lately. She's constantly waking up everyone in the family and wanting to go out to find another dog to mate with.
They aren't letting her mate yet, but Ronja has a growing belly - Lena can expect a little sibling soon!
And finally, Ronja and Nile decide to let Timian have some puppies. The neighbors next door, the Morenos, have a suitable candidate for a puppy father.
And not long after this, the house is crawling with small, clumsy dachshund mix puppies. Three of them, to be precise.
Marte has become a toddler, and for now she walks about as clumsily as the little furballs.
So now the family has two toddlers and three puppies to look after. That's just about what their house can handle. They'll have to start thinking of moving to a bigger place soon so the girls can have separate bedrooms when they grow older.
Marte is a hyper little toddler who makes a lot more mischief than her sister has ever done. Lena never made messes around the house, but that seems to be one of Marte's favorite activities.
And she can't understand why she's not allowed to. It's so much fun!
But that's one of the challenges of having toddlers and puppies in the same house. The puppies immediately start playing in the spilled paint...
The time has come to start thinking about selling the puppies they can't keep. They've decided to keep one of them, and it's not easy to figure out which one is their favorite. But Lena seems to have a special connection with the one they've named Karoline.
So Karoline stays, while the two other get adopted away.
Marte starts making her messes outside instead, which is kind of an improvement I guess.
She and Lena are getting along well, Lena is happy about having a sister now.
Tony and Gabriella have bought an abandoned factory! They wanted to find a unique place that would be suitable for Tony's art making, and they most definitely did.
It's right at the harbor of Brindleton Bay, and it's quite large. And they can do whatever they want with it!
Inside it's mostly an open area. There's a small bathroom downstairs, but apart from that it's all really one big room. There's also an attic, but there's no staircase going up to it at the moment.
The lack of proper bedrooms isn't bothering them so far. They have a "compartment" each, with just enough privacy.
Since Aaron used to be a stray, he still isn't completely house trained. He tends to knock over their trash can and do other sorts of mischief.
And even though they've bought him a perfectly comfortable cat tree, he prefers to sleep on a dresser upstairs.
The first family member to visit their new home is Mariana. It's not her style, but she's impressed with what they've achieved.
Gabriella has gone into politics to speak for animal rights. She hopes to get lots of people supporting her cause, and she's starting with her brother. They're protesting the lack of health care for stray cats at the docks.
Tony has started to photograph a little bit, but he's mostly still doing paintings. He's tried to have street sales at the harbor, but not had much luck with it.
He does get an admirer from time to time, but he's made very few sales so far.
It's time for a housewarming party!
Many of their friends from Oasis Springs arrive, and some from other places, as well as all remaining Justøy sisters.
Tony's half finished mural serves as the dance floor. There's a girl he knows who seems to be flirting with him at one point. He's never had a girlfriend, maybe she could be good match for him?
Gabriella is also flirting - surprisingly enough with one of her best friends, Aleksander Bheeda. It's starts off quite innocent and facetious.
But then they suddenly get caught by the heat of the moment, none of them can really explain why it happens.
But it feels like it's only the two of them in the room.
The next morning, Gabriella is feeling awful. In the middle of all the dishwashing she remembers her kiss with Aleksander, and it makes her really worried that she's ruined their friendship.
But Tony makes her feel better by suggesting that she should just talk to Aleksander about it, he's probably just as embarrassed as she is.
And Tony is right. When Gabriella invites Aleksander out for rootbeer floats that afternoon, it turns out he's feeling just as awkward but that he's happy she wants to talk about it.
They soon put their worries to rest and agree they can still be friends. No harm done!
Things are nice and calm in Oasis Springs. They are enjoying their life as dog owners, Elvis is such a sweet and well behaved pet.
They're not planning to teach him lots of tricks, but fetch is a fun activity for both human sims and dogs. Elvis doesn't want to do it too often though, he is a couch potato after all.
Maria is preoccupied with totally different activities. She's currently dating Chris and Isak simultaneously - she can't decide!
But now she has a much bigger problem. It turns out she's expecting a baby! And she has absolutely no idea who the father is. Maria, what have you gotten yourself into?
She isn't really ready to go steady with anyone, but she's decided that she doesn't want to bring up a child by herself. So she bets all her cards on reliable, sweet Isak who is head over heels in love with her. He will make a great father.
She tells him that she's expecting their child, even though she's not sure it's his. He's pretty shocked at first.
But then she throws an even bigger shock at him: I want to marry you!
He's been dreaming about this since they were teenagers. He didn't imagine there'd be a baby involved so soon, but that's alright - they'll be such a happy family.
Victoria likes living at home with her parents, but she's quite attached to the twins and goes to see them in Brindleton Bay often. They have started taking her out to pubs and clubs.
Vetle can't wait to have another grandchild! And one that will live right in his own house, too.
Maria gives birth to a girl, and she gets a lovely nursery in Tony and Gabriella's old room.
Her name is Beatrice Montgomery, and she's perfect.

They are probably going to be great friends growing up!
Timian is also a good companion on park days.
The slide is Lene's favorite!
They nap next to each other -
And Timian even keeps her company in the bath.
Such a loyal and loving dog.
Yep, this is the cat she wants to adopt - he's perfect.

Why are you doing this to me?
And Elvis aged up! He's a full grown Sain Bernhard now, really fluffy and still adorable.
He has taken a special liking to Victoria, they always play together.
Today she's taken a day off from the bakery to spend time outside with Elvis and her old love interest Chris.

Ronja is getting more and more pregnant...
And there we go! A little sister for Lena.
She's beautiful, and they're naming her Marte.
Lena is not impressed about the new arrival to the family.
Now that she can talk quite well, she makes sure to let her parents know exactly how she feels about not being the center of attention anymore.
But everyone else is beyond thrilled. The grandparents hang around almost every day now to help out with the two little girls.
And not long after this, the house is crawling with small, clumsy dachshund mix puppies. Three of them, to be precise.

And of course the many stray cats.
She's brought her dear Aaron with her, who seems to be happy with all the new space to explore.
Watch out so you don't get spray painted, Aaron!
And even though they've bought him a perfectly comfortable cat tree, he prefers to sleep on a dresser upstairs.
