Gabriella is flourishing in her politician career. She's been going around Brindleton Bay telling everyone about her ideas to save the town's stray cats.
She's held a lot of protests as well. Mostly as an annoyance to the neighbors.
Now when Gabriella and Aleksander have finally found each other, the next steps happen rather fast. Before long, Aleksander moves in with them in the factory.
Tony keeps on painting and trying to make a name for himself. If only he could display his works in a proper art gallery.
Since Aleksander grew up in the same neighborhood as Gabriella and they've been friends since their teens, her family already know him well. They're all thrilled to hear about the relationship. Victoria is currently the sibling they have most contact with, she's almost a young adult now and keeps coming to hang out with them in the wharf pub.
Gabriella is sad to see all the stray cats in the area, and she's constantly worried about their health. She keeps protesting for their rights.
Soon their house is constantly swarming with stray cats. But Aaron is still Gabriella's favorite.
Aleksander is also fond of animals, and he and Aaron are good friends already. Aleksander makes some money on a blog he's writing, and is hoping to do more journalism work in the future. He also wants to do veterinarian work, he just hasn't got a clinic job at the moment.
Victoria has known for a while already that she wants to be an artist after high school. There's lots of space in the factory lot, so she's started an artist workshop on the bakery's second floor.
Maria and Mariana are still working hard in the bakery. They're both experts at baking now, and make the most delicious things.
The next familiy gathering is taking place at Ronja's house in the event of her birthday. Ronja's an adult!
Beatrice is being very god and helping with the cleaning. Everyone is having a great time.
Mariana loves being a grandmother, and it's fun to have a school child in the house to play chess and cards with
But the generation between them is not in a good place at the moment. Isak has been doing some thinking and finally started to suspect that Beatrice is not his biological child, and has confronted Maria about it.
And Maria, having laid her worries about this to rest a long time ago, is so surprised at this sudden accusation that she can't think of a single thing to say to calm him. She tells him the truth: That she doesn't know if Beatrice is the daughter of Isak or Chris Lotham across the street. This is a lot for Isak to take in.
So now the cat is out of the bag, and Maria tells her parents the whole story. This puts the family in a state of shock and scandal over the next few days.
After a few days of fighting and crying, Maria has had enough. "Fine! If you can't deal with this uncertainty, you might as well leave!"
She regrets it instantly. But it's too late. There is too much toxic suspicion and broken trust between them now to continue as before. Isak decides to break out and leave.
When Victoria meets up with Tony that same evening in the spice festival, she tells him everything about what's happened. He's very sorry to hear it.
But Victoria's had an idea. Now that Isak is moving out, and Gabriella is starting a life with Aleksander, why doesn't Tony come back to Oasis Springs? There's room if they make some adjustments to the house, and he can help her start up a gallery business in the bakery.
And before long, Tony is back in his childhood home.
The family has done some changes to the house with the money they've earned from the bakery. Tony has got his own room, and the kitchen area is completely changed. So much brighter and more open!
Maria and her children need all the emotional support they can get, and they are not let down. After all, this family's biggest strength is how close they all are.
Vetle and Mariana love being surrounded by family, and the fact that three of their five grown up children choose to keep living under their roof is solid proof of their parental achievements.
It doesn't take long before Tony and Victoria have added their own mark on the family business. The baking factory is now also an art factory. And it looks better than ever!
They have even renovated the second floor to make it livable. Now the two aspiring artists can stay there for days a time to concentrate on their paintings.
They have of course kept the bakery business, but it's scaled down a bit to make room for the art. Mariana and Maria still have a lot to do around the place.
Maria is slowly mending emotionally after her divorce. Keeping busy with the business sure helps.
In the meantime, Gabriella and Aleksander have sold their factory home. However spacious and nice looking it was it's not what they want for their life now. So they've bought a smaller house at the other end on the neighborhood, on a little hill looking out over the wharf.
They're quite happy with it, and figure they'll be able to expand on it when they have the money and need for more space.
The little house is very cosy inside, and Aaron the cat seems to like his new home.
They even have more space than they need right now. In addition to kitchen, living room and bathroom they have two mid sized bedrooms and a very small room that could be used as a study or a nursery.
Gabriella keeps up her fundraising for the stray cats. She tried to bring her protest beyond Brindleton Bay, but with no success. No one joined her demonstration in San Myshuno, which was a downer.
At least it seems she managed to convince the venue guy to give some money to the cause.
While jogging in her neighborhood, she noticed that the small vet clinic in the harbour is for sale.
Since Aleksander wants to work as a vet and she wants to raise money for stray cats, maybe they can do both things together?
And sure enough: They buy the little clinic and start up a small business there. Aleksander loves his new occupation, and he's had quite a few customers. There are quiet periods for sure, but he take advantage of those by making some vet treats in his lab to sell.
Gabriella has been busy too. She hangs around talking to the customers in the lobby, and a lot of them are giving money to her cause. What a great idea this was! They hope they're able to expand the business in the future.
On the morning of their wedding, they're both really nervous. Gabriella is playing with Aaron in an attempt to calm her nerves.
They have their wedding at the island with the lighthouse. There's a Bed and Breakfast there where they've had dinner sometimes, it has a relaxed atmosphere which is just to their liking.
The whole family is there, and so are some friends.
Who's this pretty girl? Lena Justøy has become a teenager! She's more obsessed with her dogs than ever, especially clever Karoline who is now doing the obstacle course at the park with no mistakes.
She loves that dog so much. Her best friend since she was a toddler!
Her father has advanced in the detective career and has now caught quite a few criminals.
And mom Ronja is still doing well as a basketball player, but she realizes she won't be able to keep playing on the national team forever now that she's an adult going on elder.
In the afternoon the same day, they all go to Oasis Springs to hang out with the rest of the family. The only ones who aren't there is the newly wedded couple - they want to spend some time on their own, obviously.
Ronja used to be quite good at piano in her teens, and she hasn't forgotten how to do it. Maybe she needs to get a keyboard at home.
Gabriella has also gone through some vet training now and is working in the clinic a longside her husband. She's primarily treating cats, while he's specializing in dogs.
And she has some big news for him: We're going to have a baby!
They can't wait to tell Vetle and Mariana, so they invite them over for brownies to share the news with the excited grandparents.
Then they play some don't wake the llama, but none of them are very good at it.

Time flies by, and before they know it Marco has grown into a toddler.
Elvis and Beatrice are becoming good friends.
Beatrice won't be a toddler for much longer, but for now they're both keeping their parents and grandparents super busy.
She's held a lot of protests as well. Mostly as an annoyance to the neighbors.
But look, someone joined her!
Nice to meet you, new accomplice.
And he wishes Aaron was a better trained cat. "Gabriella! Your cat is on the table again!"
But Aaron is a stubborn former stray, and Gabriella is way too busy with being social all day to watch the cat.
She's been spending more and more time with Aleksander Bheeda. They're better friends than ever, and Gabriella really enjoys his company.
And soon they both give in to them. Of course they need to be together!
Good thing Tony is not at home tonight.
But he soon enough understands what's going on when Aleksander starts showing up for breakfast. He's not at all surprised at this union.
Tony keeps on painting and trying to make a name for himself. If only he could display his works in a proper art gallery.

They throw a party at the same place where Maria and Isak had their wedding reception.
The whole family is there of course, and the party is a great success.
Now that Beatrice is a school child, her grandparents enjoy hanging out with her more than ever. She's a fun and bright girl.

The wharf is so romantic at night!
This is the perfect moment for Gabriella to pop her question to Aleksander.
And of course he's fully on board with it. It's time to get married!
They have their wedding at the island with the lighthouse. There's a Bed and Breakfast there where they've had dinner sometimes, it has a relaxed atmosphere which is just to their liking.
The whole family is there, and so are some friends.
Married!
It's mostly the family that stays for dinner, and they have a really nice time.
When all the guests have left, the newlyweds venture up into the lighthouse for a romantic view of the sunset.
They stay at the b&b overnight, completely happy.
She loves that dog so much. Her best friend since she was a toddler!
And mom Ronja is still doing well as a basketball player, but she realizes she won't be able to keep playing on the national team forever now that she's an adult going on elder.
Although Lena, always sporty and conscientious, goes for a long jog along the beach shortly after breakfast.
Marte has become quite good friends with her cousin Beatrice, who she's invited over for cookies.
Then Ronja takes the girls swimming in the roman bath house by the wharf.
Ronja used to be quite good at piano in her teens, and she hasn't forgotten how to do it. Maybe she needs to get a keyboard at home.
And she has some big news for him: We're going to have a baby!
