Review food/drink glitch?

I just got City Living and I thought I'd try out the critic career. Nothing happens when I select the review food/drink options on bars. Ehhh? Is this a known bug or...?

Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there.
Try testing with different bars and see if the issue occurs with all or just one of them.

Try seeing if the issue remains after your sim has levelled up another level in the Food Critic career.

You may need to have your sim quit his career , then rejoin it and see if the issue remains. You can use a career to regain the career level.

I noticed in the work from home actions it specifically says to go to the Spice District.
I've clicked on bars and food stalls in the spice district. There's a review food and drink option on the bars but not on the food stalls. And when I click those options on the drink bars, nothing happens. I wondered if Art Critics had the same problem so I tried one out and nope, no problems there. It's just this food critic.
I tried quitting and rejoining and it seems to be working so far. But I don't think I want to promote them again using cheats out of fear it gets screwed up somehow. I wonder why it was buggy though.
