Theme for the week: a painting classes room

This patio is perfect for the artist who teaches classes out of her home! Includes space for both adult and child painting classes, as well as stations for woodworking and molding clay. The open air design allows for fresh air to circulate freely, stimulating inspiration and creativity! Also includes a small space for meditation to start the day of classes off with a clear mind.
Have to apologise to Rosemow for averting from the challenge here, but the art class seemed the perfect opportunity to finally give my painter sim Sam Gladstone his very own art studio where he could also teach others' his skills. Of course, he's more than willing to share the room with Millie!
The idea was to convert an abandoned factory in an art gallery, starting out with Sam's studio. So the place is a bit rundown, and combines an industrial look with a fun and colourful bohemian style of thrown together furniture found in thrift stores and yard sales. I also picked at least one of Sam's paintings from all the series he's done so far, to kind of also use this room as a "showcase" for the artwork in my gallery. You can find all his artwork on the Gallery through the hashtag #SamGladstone.

Overview:
Sam's artwork mostly consist of portraits, so I figured his artclass would focus on painting the human figure, hence the inclusion of these two mannequins, sporting a boho chique artist look.
Before you start your art class, you'll have to enroll with Arrow on the computer, continue if you dare.
One wall showcases Sam's colour studies:
In one corner there's even a spot for painters who don't like the easel but rather paint on the floor:
In the other corner, there's also a spot reserved to teach children how to draw and make their first paintings:

On the opposite side of the room is a place where the students can relax and hang out after the end of the lesson, starting with a Guardians of the Galaxy themed bar:
The kitchen is basic, but provides coffee, snacks and even microwave dinners:
And finally there's a sofa and stereo to hang back and relax, all under the watchful eye of one Lara Croft )
Needed a few more pictures for above the windows, so the only new "art" in the room are these pics of my sims couple Sam & Katie, thought they needed to be part of the room as well.

The design and furnishing of Paint Prophet is very nice! The patterning print on the floor of the middle of the room adds a nice look to the room. It looks very nice how the easels and the easels have been set up in the middle of the room, side by side so as the sims art students can enjoy painting together. It is special that activities tables are on each side of them, for kids to enjoy doing artwork in the room also. The paintings and pictures on the walls of the room look very nice! It looks great how they have been placed there! The green and brown colours of the walls give a nice feel to the room. The art themed decor items and the easel there with the Freezer Bunny painting on it in the corner nook of room looks great! It is nice that there is a sinks nook for sims to have a coffee when taking a break from painting. The colourful circles floor prints leading to the sink area are a very nice artistic touch. Sims will enjoy doing wood crafting on the woodwork table. Very nice bar area! Sims will enjoy sitting on the stools having a drink from the bar and chatting about their artwork. The alternating colours of stools is a nice touch . The type of windows used in the room looks very nice.

Art Studio Patio is a very nice outdoors art room! Sims will enjoy painting on the easels there in the outside air. The glass skylight roofing looks very nice! It is very special and nice that there is a corner nook where kid can also enjoy doing artwork on the activities table together. The kids paintings look great on the wall there. The gnome looks cute in the room! The large floor rugs add a very nice look to the room. It is great that there is a table with moulding clay for sims to artistically create items from. Sims will enjoy crafting on the woodwork table. It is a very nice touch that there is a yoga nook , for sims to quietly do yoga in the nice outdoors art setting before painting. They will enjoy watching birds feeding on the seed.

The design and layout of Sam's Art Class and Studio looks so very great! @Corwim It is such a very special showcase of all the artwork that Sam has been painting! It is great that it contains at least one picture of all the series that he has painted! It looks so very nice the way that the paintings have been placed on the walls! They look so great! The texture of the walls gives a great look and feel to the room! Very nice windows nook! The type of windows and the design of the area looks great! It looks very nice how the easels have placed in a semicircle there with the paint splashed floor mats underneath them.It is great that there are models for sims to paint pictures of. They will enjoy having the sunlight coming in through the windows, whilst painting there. It is great that there is a check in enroldnf f computer desk area near the entrance door. The bookcases are nice touches through the room. Sims will enjoy sitting relaxing on the seating in the lounge area, reading an art book and listening to radio music . The patterned curtains look very nice. It is a special touch that there is a windows kids art nook for them to enjoy doing artwork on the activities table, with sunlight coming onto them . The fire extingusher may be useful in the room if a fire breaks out! Very nice food and drinks kitchenette and bar alcove! Sims will enjoy sitting on the stools there, having a drink from the bar and a chat. The drinks display shelves , the bottles and neon bar sign look great on the wall. Sims will enjoy having a snack from the fridge or microwave and a cup of coffee at the table there. It is great that there is an area for sims to enjoy doing mural artwork on the floor. The wall shelf items add a nice look to the area. The art themed decor looks great on top of the upper cabinets!
