Just realised I've scuppered myself before I've even started, I need to change Matt's aspiration, he can't go work out at a gym venue..... I'll have a rethink.
Edit: I've edited my original post, he's going to be an angling ace!!

You know you could have kept the Body Builder Aspiration for the bonus trait to move him into the lot. Then change it for one that works with Stage One of the challenge.
Note: This challenge is not strict on sticking with one aspiration. It is allowed to switch around for additional Satisfaction Points.
I play like that all the time
I will add that note in the challenge guidelines.
Thanks for the clarification @EuphorialQueen!! I'll admit, I'm struggling to make Matthew any money, he's far too busy trying to stay alive!!!
The start is always the toughest. Just keep collecting, harvesting wild plants and fishing.
Perhaps this tip may come in handy
Money making tip: Instead of selling harvestables from inventory plant them first. Sell price is higher.
Example: Normal Apple 3 Simoleons vs plant and sell at 20 Simoleons.
This adds to household funds but does not meet Wealth Aspiration goals.
Another Money tip: Sell the chests found while digging. You could open them if you want to collect the MySim dolls.
Simoleons from selling chests are a more certain income as the dolls are usually worth less.
Greyson officially wrapped up the first two stages.
He did not pay bills that whole time. His new house was a bit dark without electricity.
He kept up his hygiene by his earned trips to the gym and lots of Instant Hygiene.
@FaithofKaela Hi! If you have the City Living expansion you can use the selling tables (table/wall) and mark everything up 300%. No matter the time of day/night sims will come and buy your items.
Had a bit of a hiccup with this save. Hopefully I am back on track now.
London aged up to Child and I saved the game. The next day everything looked ok until I decided to have Greyson and London go to the park. Up to that point London had gained several skills and made a couple friends. I had also tended the garden for the last time before selling or moving a few select plants to household inventory.
That was when things went awry. They had been at the park for several Sim hours when I noticed something was off with London's skills. They were lower than they should have been and the progress for completing aspirations was reset!
I had already saved when they got to the park so quitting without saving would do no good.
Maybe traveling back home would help?
Nope... skills and aspirations were still reset.
PLUS the plants were back in the garden. And the birthday cake was on the counter... even though they had eaten it.
I found directions on restoring saves to a different point. Thankfully it worked!
I was able to reset the save and it was on the day of London's birthday. Actually right after he had blown out the candles and transitioned fron toddler to child. BLECH!
