Vampire energy bugged?

I wonder if anybody else is experiencing this. My vampire (turned by Caleb, not created in CAS) has started getting the "exhausted" orange moodlet constantly, even if her energy bar is completely full. She sleeps for a bit, gets up and goes about her business for a couple of Sim hours, then becomes exhausted again - but her energy bar is still full. Weird. Will try repairing. I do have MC Command Center so it could be that but seems unlikely...

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder

I am sorry that you are having issues with your game.
Try seeing if repairing the game and resetting the sims 4 folder may help with your issues.
If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there.

Reporting back on this. Repair game doesn't help. Resetting the Sims 4 folder doesn't help. Playing vanilla doesn't help. So I guess this is a bug that the devs will need to fix, please. Alerting @SimGuruNick and @SimGuruNinja so that your QA team is aware of this.
It's a pretty vampire-game-breaking bug for me so I guess I'll have to play without my vamps until it's fixed...

I find it weird though that everyone that has the issue has cc but removing doesn't solve it.

I wonder if there could be something that's bugging the Sim to a point where he can't be recovered even without it.

If there's anyone playing on vanilla when the Sim was turned/first played, please tag me.

Thanks Crinrict, I've "me too'ed" that one. Really hope they sort this soon.

I initally got this bug in a modded game after I moved in with Caleb & Lilith (ea vampire premades) after my sim married & was pregnant by Caleb. I had mods in that game, so I tried removing the mods, repairing my game, resetting my Sims 4 folder and my sims once in game but so far the problem persists. I started another game with no mods to see if it really was the mods, since it seemed most people with the problem were playing modded games. So far I have recreated this in a vanilla game, it happened once I moved in with EA Vampire pre-made. I played it out as close to the original save as possible; she was pregnant when I moved her in after they got married. Everything was fine, and I thought it must be one of my mods, until about 2 days after she moved in, and that was when the problem occurred again.

Unfortunately I have yet to find a work around to fix the problem, so my saves are unplayable atm. Hoping with enough info, we can figure out a workaround until a better fix is in place. I have posted the info in the link that was posted by Crinrict as well.

Pretty game breaking atm, especially when nothing seems to fix it even temporarily. Having the sim be pregnant makes it even worse, passing out while trying to fulfill other needs is more than frustrating.

@SimGuruNick Would you kindly give me instructions on how to share this with you? I have been working on a bunch of issues, so I was re-making saves for each problem and since I don't like clutter in my folders or too many save games I was deleting them quite frequently as well. However I do think I still have a copy of that test save in my own backup folder. If not I defintely have the original save, which was modded initially; would that one work if I no longer have the test save?

To send your save file to SimGuruNick, zip your save folder into a zip folder, then upload the zip folder to Dropbox , mediafire or google drive, then pm him the link to the folder that you have uploaded.
To pm him, click on SimGuruNick's name in this thread, and it will take you to his wall. On the top right hand side of the screen, there is a " Message" button. Press that and you can then write your message and include the link to the file.
