I wasn't quite sure what the rule about getting the simpoint value meant- is that a possibility? If so I'd love to just get the simpoints so I can keep saving towards my goal since they'll get me more than halfway towards having enough for Midnight Hollow.

It meant that if you won the world or venue prize, but would rather like the simpoint value offered instead, then that was a possibility. The transferring of simpoints is not possible, so you will be gifted 750 simpoints worth of items.
