@Skymyst: I'm glad you're finally getting a chance to look at these! :) I had been rather sad that you hadn't seen most of them, so I am glad you have the chance now. :)

@MiaSkywalker Ok Mia please know it was not you - I am still trying to go through goodies and get stuff finished for DQ. I wasn't going to post this because I wanted to keep things on a happy level but I feel the need for you to understand it is not just me being "lazy or not in a hurry" things have just been a world wind these past few weeks.

Here is a bit about what I had been telling Addie just yesterday.

Sorry I have once again been MIA life has been bloody crazy. The shortish version is after they pulled the abscess out she got better fast. She was able to go home on the 23rd. Since we were not thinking we were going to be able to do Thanksgiving with her in the hospital we did not prepare so it was a crazy mad dash to get everything we need and two days of cooking (our first time since my parents normally have done the cooking in years past but with TJ getting Lyme really bad he was not able to this year - so we did). After we pasted out with full bellies Thursday evening we took a 4 day trip down to see my sister and her babies in Norfolk - VA - we just got back in town early Tuesday morning. My husband and I came back with what we thoughts was "common colds" but they got bad and we knew first hand better to be safe ..... we went to the doctors today and found out his is Bronchitis and Mine is A Bad Ear Infection Coupled With Strep Throat. With meds in hand I am trying to get my life back on track and several things handled at home. It is hectic but it was so nice to see my sister it has been over 3 years.

Anyway, I am back up - had to take a nap my head was spinning so bad. This infection is really messing with my focus and such. It is now day 4 or so of antibiotics and if it doesn't get better soon I might have to see a specialist ... you know I really want to do that. :( But, my hubby is asleep the kids have friends over for the weekend so they are quiet and out of my face (that sounds bad doesn't it, LOL) But, this means I can pop on a TV show or movie, make me a glass of hot tea and sitting down to focus on goodies and Sims for a bit. So will be back with next detailed thing. Big Hugs!

So, we are moving on to gift number 6! The name Fantasy whimsy already has my eyes sparkling! I see the “moss” going up the side of the house and I am again taken into a fantasy story where elves play tricks and evil witches try to rule the day! The outside is stunning! It is cozy and inviting and makes me think of the sweet cabin in the woods with the kind ol’ lady some say might be magical. I too love all the “stoves” in real life my kitchen would so be a focus point like that so it really makes me “enjoy” doing it in game. It is rare that my Sims cannot cook – someone in the house normally always has some skills since I love that in the game! Again, you have gone out of your way to stock it with little goodies that I cannot wait for my Sim to discover! I love the “rustic nature” of this build while it stilling having it color and flare! The kitchen is of course again one of my favorites but I love the look “magic nook” too!

Gift #7 – Hubba hubba! I love his eyes and of course his color. So, he wants to be a “spy” might be interesting to see how he “blends in” with all the spy business! I think he will either be really good or really bad at it … no in between. What do you think? I will be honest I have never really “played” the genie much so I am super excited to try him out! When I seen him I think of a
“savory cool guy” like Gambit from the X-Box series. You know sexy and magnet! I LOVE him and I love Cheese-steak sandwiches so I think we will get along great! *einks*

Do you mean Nightcrawler of X-men? He's the blue one. He teleports with a Bamf!, and looks like a demon. (Although he's not, I don't think. Haven't read it in 15 years, so maybe that's changed.) Gambit is the one who talks Cajun. Or maybe you do mean Gambit, since he's the one who acts all suave and stuff. :)

I decided to set his skin color to purple, since he already had a bluish cast that you can't get rid of. That happens once you make a Sim a djinni. No idea why EA thinks all djinn have blue skin. I think they've watched too much Disney. That certainly isn't canon with Arabian fairy tales, that's for sure.

The djinn have two main powers that are interesting. One of them is that he can clean your entire house by casting a spell. It includes making beds, and everything else. The other one is that he can mesmerize any NPC Sim, and make him temporarily part of your household, giving you access to his inventory. This is useful for two reasons: 1) It allows you to steal the Sim's inventory (I never bother with that, myself, but a friend of mine gets a kick out of it). 2) If a Sim is being really annoying with that stupid megaphone, you can take it and sell it, getting rid of it for that Sim permanently.

The second of those two is the one I find particularly useful. I absolutely HATE the megaphone, and without a genie in your household, you have to use cheats like Nraas in order to remove them from an NPC's inventory.

ETA: I just discovered that uploading the lots removed most of the goodies I had put into the alchemy cabinet, and everything I had put into the refrigerator. :( You still have quite a few potions, but it isn't even close to the number that had been in it before. (I'm wondering if I had made a mod that I have forgotten about that allows more items to fit into the alchemy cabinet, and if that would have been stripped out when I uploaded. That's likely it.)

Ok, so I am back again too look at more goodies! To answer your question, I did mean Gambit – I had just been thinking about his dashing suave nature when I seen Haydar. I love hearing about the djinns main powers – I cannot believe I haven’t tried them more before now. As far as the extra goodies it is ok, there is still tons packed in this little house. I just started trying to learn how to mess with the NRAAS cheats and still have a lot to learn.

So, next up on my drool worthy gifts is Deondre he kind of reminds me of the opposite of the TV show guy Angel I use to watch my mother. Instead of being the normally broody male vampire he is all about loving life and seeking the enjoys it can offer. Again, I love his looks his dark coloring is smexy and I am sure he is going to be fun to play.

Moving on to gift 9 which is Gyles the first thing I noticed was his stunning purple eyes … talk about drawing you in! Oh my!!! I like that he is more furry guy fun and a little scruffy; I know one of my Sims girls is going to want to take him and clean him up! *grins* I love the care you took to make his two forms looks so swoon worthy! I have only just dabbled in werewolf’s so he is going to be another fun new thing to sink my teeth ….. pun intended …. Into!

Next up on all the male hunks is Isamu. He kind of reminds me of like a son god or something that protects the earth and all who live on it. I like that you made is colorings somewhat Chinese in nature I think it makes for an excellent mix of hot male studs to play with. I am thinking I need two games … one with each of my new men on their own so I can go deeper into their history and lives and one with all of them in one household just because I think trouble will assume and be a ton of fun to watch and enjoy!!!
Time for me to wake some people up in my house so I will be back in a bit to go more into my world of goodies! Thank you so much – I am still stunned at all you have done for me!

Deondre is based on a real person, although I have no idea who that person is. I was looking for something else online one day, and stumbled across an image of an absolutely gorgeous African-American male. I absolutely had to try to make him as a Sim. The original had these wonderful tats all over his chest, arms, and back; I couldn't duplicate them, so after attempting it and failing I decided not to even try, but I did get his face right. He had this stunningly seductive look on his face, that I believe I was able to duplicate.

His backstory is because I wanted something for a vampire that doesn't scream "evil". Not all vampires have to be evil, even without being vegetarian. :) (I rarely use vegetarian for a trait. REAL heroes eat meat, preferably raw on the inside and burned on the outside. ;) )

Isamu's personality is based on a friend of mine. Not the entire backstory, and definitely not the looks, just the idea of him and his traits. My friend is NOT a simmer, and I doubt he would like his name mentioned in a forum, so I won't. :) I have Isamu as a townie in my current game, and in-game he doesn't look Asian at all. I'm not sure how to make him more Asian in game; I think I must not have gotten something quite right. I suspect none of the EA skins give the right facial details, or something like that.

I notice that Gyles in game has too much of a "wild-eyed" look. Scaling down his eyes and/or lowering the top eyelid fixes that, so you might edit him in CAS if you have the opportunity (you can use Nraas Master Controller to do this), and scale his eyes down. (I also scaled his irises up in my own game, but I think that slider is CC, so you probably won't have that option.) He looked fine in the Edit in CAS mode, but I didn't actually play-test any of the Sims I made, because I hadn't thought it was necessary. Guess I was a little wrong. :) Neither Isamu's nor Deondre's eyes look that way, probably because I used an eyelid slider to move their upper eyelids down, in order to give them a more sultry look. I think that improved how the eyes look in the game. Aswas has a bit of the same problem, so you might also choose to do that for him, too. I don't THINK I had scaled up their eyes from the models I used as my template, but I know I tweaked them, and whatever I did, I think I must have gone a little too far.
