What is the Problem with the Gallery?

What is with the Gallery and EA when it comes to viewing it. All day yesterday (and this has happened numerous times) not only to me, but other have said so also. I am looking at the beautiful lots which have been built and then I get the message I have to be on line to view and everything goes blank. Funny thing after checking my internet connection I find that I am on line and all the while using my skype and the internet right along. It has to be on EA's part where the problem is. When I click to connect, it says it can't connect and to check to see if I'm connected to the internet. I will be viewing and all of a sudden I'm not. Is anyone else having this problem or have any idea what to do about it. Also I'm connected to Origin and it shows me on line, I can use it just fine.

I am sorry that you are having this issue. Sometimes it can help to come completely out of the game when that occurs, shut down the computer, restart the computer, then launch the game again, and the issue has been resolved.

I have that problem all the time, I found out that my computer has disabled the connection, usually for Sims only. Don't know why but I just disconnect the internet then reconnect, sometimes I have to do that a couple of times.

I had the same thing happen, I was online in game & my internet connection was great (150mbps!) So no issues there. Then I checked Origin, by just toggling out of the game & it was saying I was off line. Origin> Application Settings> Origin In Game & click the button to turn it on. It resolved my problem. And I have my game options setting to not show Origin in game so I won't have all the annoying Origin popups.

@EternalRose checked and all of that is fine. Have it set the way that you do. I did what Rose & Stillewater said and yesterday it was working fine except that I couldn't view my profile and catalog. Took forever for it to show other times but it doesn't now says I haven't shared anything

I get the disconnect thing once in a while..the main problem I have with the gallery is, the items I have uploaded to the gallery, don't show downloads/favorites...always zero, when I can look at the history on the right hand side and see that my most recent item did indeed get some downloads..it would be nice to be able to see this information..what's the point of the gallery if you don't know if anyone has responded to your content?

You might want to check your anti-virus software and make sure it's not blocking the Gallery for some reason.

Try clearing the origin caches and see if that helps the issue.

Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.

HI Rose, The gallery issue is now fixed. But My Profile won't load. I end up having to manually close down my computer because it freezes and won't let me do anything and it won't load so I can see lots or anything else. Someone leaves me a comment I can't real it because it says I haven't shared. I have just tried repairing so will see. , but it shows how many downloads, friends, following and followers, and my bio comment at the top and that is all that will show up. Any idea what may be going on?
