Why can't there be a quicksave option?

My game just crashed. I know I should save it every once and a while but I wasn't thinking of it at all. I just spent an hour building a house and I was so happy about it and then it just automatically stopped. It wasn't freezing or lagging or anything, it literally just stopped. Why can't there be like a quicksave key for it? Or if there is please tell me what it is and that would be sooooo awesome...

I'm sorry you lost it, I know how you feel. I wish there was a quick save button without needing to go in Options too.

I learned it in the hard way too! cx The Sims 3 teached me to save every 5 seconds, seriously.
I got traumatized, never forgot to save in ANY game again. o:
