    Backyard Stuff description defeated by the censor?!

    The Decorative Bird House has "plum" in its description where I'm pretty sure it's supposed to have eeeediot... TS4 description writers defeated by their own censor! XD

    Add Manage Neighbourhood Options - assign your own Sim to NPC jobs!
    The Problems with Death in The Sims 4
    Distinguish Elder gameplay with Elder-only reward traits

      I'm going to go with intentional, considering the sense of humor of the developers -- maybe they feel frustrated by the censor as well at times. B)

      Lol, I guess I forgot to read all the item info, since I missed that.

      But thanks to that censored-word-replacement, I have had really weird split-second moments IRL. :*
      I have actually spent a second or two trying to figure out what something was trying to tell me, from seeing the actual word plum in it.

      *goes back to hiding under a rock from embarrassment*

      Knowing them it was probably sealed whilst the bird was in there.

      So, it's probably a decorative bird coffin on a stick.

      Has anybody tried to get the camera to clip inside - just to check?

      It really does pay to read the descriptions on items sometimes. There's a book that appears to be about @SimGuruGraham and his former life as a point farmer...I thought that was funny.

      Now that I know the some plum plummed up the hole in the plumming birdhouse, I can plumming add plummed up birdhouses without worrying that plumming birds will plum all over my yard.

      Hahahahaha I am so glad everyone has enjoyed this detail. :smiley: I'm glad it made your day a little better, @SimGuruGraham!! @itsug - Thanks for sharing the Twitter post; I'm not on Twitter so wouldn't have seen it, but that was a great start to my morning.

      I always read every item description - the item descriptions have always been one of my favourite things about the franchise. It's a part of my new-pack ritual to read them. :smiley:

      Heheheh, you guys gave them more credit than I did - I can see it being intentional too, though I'm still chuckling either way. I know the in-game censor is also aggressive (when naming Sims) but it's true I've never seen "plum" inserted before. :lol:
