You can have 8 sims per household however it was very difficult to get them all in one room let alone not burn the place down since it was their first time cooking hehe .. Beautiful room by the way @emere loving the bamboos x

Ready...Set...Cook! looks so very great! @WrathofCath The design of the studio room looks so very creative and great! It looks very nice how the alcove is set up with the armchairs each side of the door for the studio audience to watch the tv show taking place. The studio lights there look great! Very nice furnishing of the cooking areas of the room! It looks very great the way each of the cooking teams has a different coloured section of the room to do their cooking in! The red, lime, and blues colour schemes look very nice! It looks nice that each section has a microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge. The wall cutlery, paper towel and soap dispensers and spice set are nice kitchen touches on the walls in each section. The types of and way that the cabinets are placed in each of the cooking alcoves looks very nice. The mooing work in the room looks so very great! Very nice triangular /curved shaped bar stool and stove counters areas! They look so very great! The matching coloured bar stools and counters to the other sections of the room looks nice! The way that the stoves are placed there look great! The sauces, salt/pepper and utensils are nice kitchen touches on the counters. The hanging pots and the chillis wall poster look great in the room. It is good that there is a fire extinguisher and smoke alarm in the room , in case the kitchen is set on fire!

Thank you for the lovely comments, Rose! Ideally, I would like to have used orange and yellow for the other two colors but the counter tops didn't match and they got all flicker-y when I tried them. So I had to settle for the blues because the tops matched. I also noticed that I forgot to change the colors of some of the salt and pepper shakers, to match the prep area. Doh! I hate when that happens...

Hello @NHicks Welcome back to the forums! It is very nice that you have designed and furnished rooms for this week's challenge.
Master Chef and Master Chef Syndication are very nice kitchen rooms! . Very nice design and layout of the room! It looks great how the cooking stations are set up in the room, and that each station has a stove for sims to cook on , a dishwasher and utensils to use. The brown and black colour scheme of the room looks very nice. The patterned wall at the front of the room dividing off the cooking and prep areas looks great! The windows look nice placed either sides of it and the planter boxes are nice touches of green and nature on the base of the windows. The half hidden prep area looks great! It is great that there are a row of fridges for the contestants to use. The row of curved sculptures look very nice how they are used and placed in the room. The judging bar is great! The judges will enjoy sitting there on the stools taste testing the meals. The judges dining area is very nice. It looks great the way the tables have been combined to create a larger dining table. The type of seats used there suit well the type of room.

Grandma Julie has just turned 100 years old! She has been thinking back over the years and about how she differently set up her bedrooms in the homes where she has lived at different ages in her life. Her bedroom has been a reflection of how old she was at the time. She has decided to renovate her bedroom and set it up to suit a particular age that she was. Could you please choose an age for her and create a room that suits that age? She can be any age from being a newborn baby to being 99! It is only the bedroom and not a bathroom with it. Timothy has just started school and his parents have decided to set up a separate study and reading room for him to do reading and his homework in, that is not a part of his bedroom. He won’t be sleeping there. They have decided to use one theme for it. The three themes they are choosing between are: oceanic, sports or vehicles( such as cars, trucks etc.) Could you please choose One of these three themes( not a combination ) and design a reading and study room based on it.

Joshua is a young adult who has just left home and moved into his own small house. He does have a girlfriend but she doesn’t live with him. His Dad has sadly passed away. He is inviting his mother to have a meal with him for Mother’s Day. He only has a small kitchen with just a little eat in dining area. He does have a separate dining room but he is going to have the meal with his mother in the eat in area in the kitchen . For Mother’s Day it will just be him and his mother having a meal together. Could you please design a male kitchen for him, where they will have the meal.

With the new pack coming out this week, I thought that Simmers may like to use items from the new pack to make courtyards! The challenge this week is to make a small courtyard to spend time on a sunny day! You can use items from the new pack or not use any of the pack items at all! You don’t need to own the pack at all! The theme for the 318th week is : a study room whilst on holiday at the beach/island or the snow.
Leanne and Joshua are cousins. They are each going away on a holiday with their own family. One family is going to the beach/island and the other is going to the snow! Whilst away though, they need to do some studying to prepare for their return to school when they get home. Could you please design for one of them a study room for one of them to do studying in whilst away in one of these two locations, that reflects where they are holidaying. The study is just a small room in the place where they are staying.The study is not a part of a bedroom or another room. It is a separate room.

With the Spa Day pack refresh this week, Helen has decided that she would also like to have a small calming and peaceful room to go to when feeling a bit stressed or just to enjoy spending a quiet time in.

Jenny likes art and enjoys having pictures on the walls of the rooms in her home. She has decided to put up one in some of her rooms, and only use the colours in that picture for the rest of the room! Could you please help her? Choose a picture that is found in the build mode catalogue ( it can be base game or from a pack ) and only use the colours of that picture for the rest of the room, It can be either a kitchen, small dining or small living room. The theme for the week is: a Birthday party dining room for twins.
Sally and Samuel are twins. They are celebrating their birthday, and are having a special birthday party meal! Sally likes the colour pink and pretty things. Samuel likes the colour blue and likes sports. They both like listening to music.They will be doing party activities in another room, so this is just the dining room where the twins and their party guests will be dining.
Could you please design and furnish a birthday party dining room that suits them both please? I will look forward to seeing the party rooms! The twins are so very excited!

A Birthday for twins is such a very nice dining room for the children! @emere Very nice furnishing and layout of the room! It looks so very nice the way half of the dining area of the room has a pink colour scheme and the other half has a blue colour scheme! The yellow coloured walls in the rest of the room complements with these colours. The pink and blue and white streamers are a great setting for the birthday twins dining area! The balloons and banners look so very nice and celebratory! The round pink and blue coloured dining tables and chairs look nice there. The two different coloured floor rugs add to the nice look of the twins dining area. The sparkles on the floor look very pretty! The pink teddy and blue dragon look very cute in the room! The pink and blue rosettes are nice touches on the windows. The birthday gift boxes will be exciting for the kids to open! The colouful trees prints look nice on the walls, and the bunnies and dinosaurs wall prints look very great placed on the pink and blue coloured walls! The hamburger cake and other birthday cake look fun and very delicious for the sims to enjoy eating! It is nice that the cakes are lit with candles in the pictures. Very nice side wall dining tables for the party guests to sit at and enjoy eating the food. The pink and blue seating looks great. The pink bunny looks cute on the table!

The Twin's Birthday room is so very nice! @popettypop2012 It looks very nice the way half of the room has the pretty pink colour scheme and the other half suits Samuel and has the blue colour scheme. Very nice furnishing and layout of the room! It looks very nice how the pink and blue round dining tables and dining chairs are set up in the room. The flowers on the table are pretty for sims to see when dining at the tables. The pink and blue floor rugs complement well with the coloured tables and chairs, and look nice on the wooden flooring. It is nice that there are two types of buffet tables in the room and a fountain. They look nice placed in the middle of the room, separating off the two dining areas. The sims will enjoy sittimg at the dining tables eating and drinking food and drinks from the buffet tables and fountain. They will enjoy listeming to radio music from the stereo whilst dining or have fun dancing to the music after the meal! The ballooons and banners are very nice celebratory touches in the room! The coloured fireplaces look nice in the room. They will keep the sims warm. The hanging ceiling lights look very pretty in the room! The unicorn and dragon look cute in the room! The twins will be excited to see the pink and blue coloured presents in the room for them to unwrap! The enlarged decorative Easter eggs look great in the room! The cube stools look nice on the sides of the room.

The plates of food look so very, very nice how they are placed on the table in the pictures! The bow themed dining chairs look nice around the table. The theme for the 307th week is : a circles or stripes themed bathroom or dressing room or study room.
Sharon likes circles and stripe patterns! She has moved to a new home and has decided to reflect this in some of the rooms of her home. Could you please choose either the circles/dots theme OR the stripes theme and create a bathroom or a dressing room or a study room that reflects that theme.

The theme for the 308th week is : a small courtyard to spend a sunny day.
With the new pack coming out this week, I thought that Simmers may like to use items from the new pack to make courtyards! The challenge this week is to make a small courtyard to spend time on a sunny day! You can use items from the new pack or not use any of the pack items at all! You don’t need to own the pack at all! It is just a small courtyard for sims to enjoy spending time in on a sunny day.

The theme for the 310th week is : a bedroom based on two likes
Sally is planning to makeover her bedroom to reflect what she likes. She has two likes that she particularly wants to be reflected in her bedroom. Could you please choose TWO likes from the new likes system that is in CAS ,and design a bedroom based on these two likes. Could you please just only choose two likes and not more likes. It is only the bedroom and can’t contain other rooms such as a bathroom. This is a list of the likes.

The theme for the 311th week is : a garden feature
Cynthia has just moved into a new home. She is looking forward to setting up the outside areas! She has decided that she would like to have a garden feature in either her front garden or backyard. Could you please help her? It could be a small garden or a garden bed, or a pool , or a water fountain feature. It may be a statue or sculpture feature. Or another type of garden feature you would like to do! It isn’t a large patio, it is just a garden feature.

The theme for the 312th week is : a bedroom for someone attending a music festival
Leanne, Leroy and their daughter and their son, and Leanne’s mother are looking forward to attending the music festival! They are quite excited about it and have decided to renovate their bedrooms to reflect that they are attending the music festival! Could you please help them, by choosing ONE of the family members ( or two if you are doing a bedroom for Leanne and Leroy ) and creating a bedroom that reflects that they are going to the music festival. Could you please also tell us which family member you have done the bedroom for.The daughter and the son have individual bedrooms, and can be at any age stage.
It is just the bedroom and doesn’t include the bathroom.

The theme for the week 313th week is : a meal, baked item or snack themed kitchen.
Helen enjoys cooking in her kitchen! She has many favorite snacks and meals from the Sims 4 game that she enjoys cooking! She has decided to choose one of them and theme her kitchen to reflect the food. The challenge this week is to choose one of the snacks or meals or baked items that can be be cooked or prepared in the Sims 4 game, and create a kitchen that reflects it! It might be the color, or a country that you associate with cooking the food, or the the type of food cooked, or or any other thing that you feel reflects the food. Could you also please post what the food item is and a photo of the food. It is only the kitchen and not a combined kitchen and dining room.

The theme for the 314th week is : a grandma/grandchild teaching room
Grandma Joanie and her grandchild are very excited! It is school holidays time and they are going to spend a day together! Grandma is planning to teach her grandchild something. ( It is not schoolwork ) She is going to set up a room for the day to teach it. Could you please choose something for her to teach, then theme the room to suit it. Some suggestions are : painting, knitting, wood crafting, a musical instrument, gardening,writing, dancing, flower arranging or it could be anything! It is just a small room though as Grandma only has a small home. Please write on your gallery description and your post on this thread what she is teaching.

Susie has just moved to the countryside with her family. They are now living on a farm! At the moment her bedroom is empty and she wants to makeover it to reflect it being on a farm. Could you please help her? You can choose what age stage Susie is. She can be any age, from being a baby or a toddler or a child, or teen to being an adult.It is just the bedroom and doesn’t include a bathroom or a large living room. You can still enter if you don’t own the new Cottage Living pack.

The theme for the 317th week is : a room based on a patterned rug
Penelope likes adding floor rugs to her rooms! She thinks that they add a great look to the room, and likes it to complement with the rest of the room. There are many patterned rugs in the sims game! They are all very nice! For this week’s challenge, could you please help her, by choosing one of the rugs and create a room that complements well with it. Could please choose the rug,then base the rest of the room on what it is like. The room can be either a kitchen, bathroom or dining room. It can’t though be a combined kitchen and dining room. Could you please either post a separate picture of the rug used or if it can be clearly see in your screenshots that will be great!

The theme for the 318th week is : a study room whilst on holiday at the beach/island or the snow.
Leanne and Joshua are cousins. They are each going away on a holiday with their own family. One family is going to the beach/island and the other is going to the snow! Whilst away though, they need to do some studying to prepare for their return to school when they get home. Could you please design for one of them a study room for one of them to do studying in whilst away in one of these two locations, that reflects where they are holidaying. The study is just a small room in the place where they are staying.The study is not a part of a bedroom or another room. It is a separate room.

The theme for the 320th week is : a style of bathroom or bedroom.
Timothy and Tracey Johnson and their two children, Tania and Tommy are a happy family. But they all like different types of styles of furnishings! They have moved to a new home, and it contains a few bathrooms and a few bedrooms so they are going to have different styles of bathrooms and bedrooms in their home.Could you please choose a type of style and use that to design either a bathroom or a bedroom ( not both together) Some suggestions are : modern, industrial,Victorian, midcentury modern, boho,cottagecore, futuristic,Art Deco or just colourful! Any other style also!

The theme for the 321st week is : a small calming , peaceful room
With the Spa Day pack refresh this week, Helen has decided that she would also like to have a small calming and peaceful room to go to when feeling a bit stressed or just to enjoy spending a quiet time in.
Could you please design a room for her. You can use items from the Spa Day pack if you want to, but you don’t have to. You don’t need the pack to enter this challenge. The room can’t be a bedroom. She just wants a small room and not a large Spa venue.

The theme for the 322nd week is : a kitchen, small dining or small living room based on the colours of a game picture.
Jenny likes art and enjoys having pictures on the walls of the rooms in her home. She has decided to put up one in some of her rooms, and only use the colours in that picture for the rest of the room! Could you please help her? Choose a picture that is found in the build mode catalogue ( it can be base game or from a pack ) and only use the colours of that picture for the rest of the room, It can be either a kitchen, small dining or small living room. It can’t though be a combination of these room types together.
Could you also please post a photo of the picture you chose if it isn’t clear to see in your screenshots.

The " tv show kitchen " challenge has now finished! The rooms are so very creatively designed ! They look so very great! The tv show chef contestants will enjoy cooking in each of the rooms!

The theme for the week is: a Birthday party dining room for twins.
Sally and Samuel are twins. They are celebrating their birthday, and are having a special birthday party meal! Sally likes the colour pink and pretty things. Samuel likes the colour blue and likes sports. They both like listening to music.They will be doing party activities in another room, so this is just the dining room where the twins and their party guests will be dining.
Could you please design and furnish a birthday party dining room that suits them both please? I will look forward to seeing the party rooms! The twins are so very excited!
