It makes sense to me. She's voting for him because she doesn't want to be lynched because according to herself she is town and so if she's lynched would lose the game.

The only reason I want to make very clear who I will vote next if needed is because I keep in mind I might die in this game and I think it's important you know my exact opinion on matters so you can try to find out why I got killed. Also why are you so sure they are mislynches, that makes no sense unless you're mafia and sure they're town!

From her point of view (if she is town), there is a bigger chance of Aitkens being mafia than herself. So lynching him would have given town a chance to win from her point of view.
