It's just so compelling... taking your civilization to glory and beyond. I've got saves where I've already 'won' and I can't stop playing until I've covered and improved the whole map... (well, except for the city states, I usually let those be)
Oh gosh, I play Minecraft and Dungeon Defenders suck me in every time I play them. And then there's my library of games purchased on Steam - so many games, I don't have time to play all of them. Soulcalibur and Super Mario Bros. 3 when I'm up for some classic gaming. Between my PC and consoles, there's always something to do, but Sims tends to be my go-to.
I need to change my answer. Outrunning the cops in Need For Speed: Most Wanted is a great stress reliever.

Sims is the only game I play regularly. But I do play WOW in spurts. I love WOW, but once you're maxed leveled and geared, I get bored waiting on the next expansion pack.
WOW is the only other game I play (somewhat) faithfully. Meaning, I'll always go back to it.
Everything else is just whatever strikes my fancy at the moment.
@chocolateproject Out of curiosity, what do you think about Twilight Princess? I really liked the dark feel in that one, seemed more mature. Reminded me a bit of MM, to be honest.
Well, it's hard to pick just one. My top favs are Zelda (of course), Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Uncharted, Tomb Raider (all of them, but especially liking the reboot feel).

Before I started playing The Sims, I used to play Zelda and the Ocarina of Time, that was my all-time favorite. I must have played it and beat it at least four times. Before TS3, I played TS2 and before TS2, I played TS1. Guess I've been a simmer for quite some time! Lol
Mass Effect trilogy and Dragon Age - both of which I still play regularly. I have a weakness for fabulous voices, hence my Garrus and Fenris addictions run deep.
