Sims 4 is crazy... but my daughter likes it! Her only which is for toddler, my only wish is that customize clothes and sims expand. More colour eyes, hair, cas, buy and build items with mores patterns and colours, making it sims and lots more mine, you know what I mean? But this two little wishes will never happen will it? I don't think so...oh well... if I buy more sims4 exp, packs and stuff will be on sales to get it for the price that is really worth it! Ah, the only two that that I like is get together and movie... nothing else appealing to me... Way too much money for so few items, that we can't do much with... or make it our own style...and we're addicted long time simmers (Playing sims since Sims1 here),are not all rich you know...

My Ideas
We all know that when games are updated and get new packs it can be exciting. It gives us chills and starts letting are imaginations run wild. So, today the topic of this discussion is..... What we would like to see in expansion/ stuff packs in The Sims 4. Letโ€™s begin. My first topic that I would like to mention is personally I think the expansion packs that consist of supernatural, into the future, island paradise, university life, seasons, and apartment/ hotel life were amazing hits. I think it would be a huge improvement to add these to the Sims 4. However, you will need to update them and add some new features. My second topic is cars. I believe these were great, so just keep them. It would majorly improve them to look inside them. It would be more interesting than a waiting screen. The radio could play or the parents could have a chat with their kids. My next topic discusses a MAJOR problem. Where on sim land did the toddlers go? It doesn't matter where they went all that matters is that you bring them BACK. We enjoyed these children. It made the gap in age not seem all that bad. However, you guys made the children look about 7 or so we need someone in between the newborns and the 7 year old's, please change that. Next, since I am discussing age gaps, letโ€™s talk about children to teens. There needs to be an age group between children and teen. It could be called tween, as most refer to it like this today. This age group tween could give sim lovers a chance at new and larger variety. Next, I think the idea of having sleepovers would be amazing. There could be sleeping bags, more pajama wear, and even real nail polish. Your Sims would get to experience new game play such as pillow fights, scary storytelling, kneeling on the floor, watching movies while in sleeping bags, playing truth or dare, and especially pulling all- nighters. Another thing that would improve this action, is planning parties earlier than that vary day. You could even invite them to come home with you after school. My next topic is, handshakes. I know you can do handshakes with clubs, but what about with your sister/brother or even a best friend? Next up, when you hopefully add in pets please keep Sims 3 pets while adding in pets like bunnies or snakes. It would also be neat to have farm life for your Sims. And speaking of pets you need to add in a vet for ill pets. You should also be able to take in strays. Next topic is, sports. Some sim lovers like to keep their children/tween/teens happy but also HEALTHY. In order for children to not get fat they do sports. You could consist sports along the lines of gymnastics, softball, baseball, basketball, track, volleyball, soccer, football, dance, cheer, and many others. Also, please add a grocery store and a mall. We would like to make this game as real as life. Which brings me to my next topic, restaurants. We might want a place to go to celebrate a promotion or a big win in the soccer or game or even to go just because. My next topic of business is about tree houses. Tree houses, Blanket forts, or tire swing make an amazing way to have fun. It is also a great way to spend quality family time. It would be a great pleasure to look inside the child's tree house and customize as their own. They could be fancy or just plain. The children could even invite parents/older siblings/grandparents/aunts/friends/cousins/ carry younger siblings up the ladder/ or just play by themselves. In the child's tree house they could have play kitchens with little fake stoves. They could even have these in their play room or bedroom in the house. Now speaking of children's tire swing, regular playground equipment. There would be swings, slides, sea saws, jungle gyms, and many modernized playground things. These would give us more of a park theme. Finally, my last idea for expansion/ stuff pack for the Sims 4. We have all heard and probably bought Sims 4 get to work, however what if there was a sims 4 get to school? We would start out the school day with CLOTHING. If you attended a private school you would wear a uniform. But, you wouldn't be required to wear one at public school. You would have your backpack/ shoulder bag on. You could customize your backpack/shoulder bag in Create a Sim. You would also find your school uniform there. Next we enter our second major event for the day, TRANSPORTATION. Your parent(s) would drive you, you could ride a bike, walk to school, you could catch a ride with a friend/ neighbor, or you could take the bus. However, this bus would be different. On this school bus, you would be able to go on the bus, not just your sim. When you first enter the bus you make a decision. You chose where to sit. You could sit with the mean kids, the popular kids, with a friend(s), or simply by yourself. You than would decide whether to read a book, talk, listen to the radio, or (if needed) finish homework. After that you would wait for the driver to finish up the last stops. After that, the next major event would be, LOCKERS/ CUBICLES. For age groups tween and teen you would receive your middle school/ high school locker. However, for toddlers and children you would receive a Pre-school/ elementary school cubicle. Each cubicle comes in the shape of a large rectangle with a shelf at the top and a hook for their coats. Each cubicle comes in the classroom while each locker comes on the outside in the halls. After putting their things away then comes time for their CLASSES. Each toddler would get one class and stay there all day. Each child would get two classes (Science and Math with one teacher, Language Arts and Social Studies with the other) and switch after lunch. Each tween/ teen would get 4 classes (History, algebra, Science, English) and one 30 min. study hall and one 30 min. lunch and PE for an hour two electives swapping for the one hour spot every day. The next major thing would be LUNCH. In this 30 min. time period students could get a tray or eat a lunch packed from home the night before. You can customize your lunchbox the same way you would with your backpack. After that the next major thing is ELECTIVES. With electives you would have two swapping for the hour time frame every day. You have one free choice elective ( Art, Music, Choir, Drama, Orchestra, Band, Or creative Music with guitar) and one service elective ( Working in Cafeteria, Working in Library, Working in Janitorial Services, Working in the nurses office, and many others.) After this you would continue your day until you get to another major topic, Physical Education. During Physical Education you can choose to run laps, play doge ball, play lists of sports, hide out behind the bleachers, or fake an injury. After that throughout your day you will come across you study hall during this you can study in the library or in other locations. After that you day will continue until you reach the end of the day. At the end of school you can chose to stay behind and join a school club, tutor, be tutored, watch a spots team practice, or you can go home. School clubs consist of Chess Club, Art Club, Garden Club, Drama Club, Safety Patrol crosswalk personal, Or joining the news team for the announcements for the next day. I hope you all enjoy my ideas for expansion/ stuff pack for the Sims 4. Please try and corporate these ideas into the Sims 4 next expansion/ stuff packs. Thank you all for reading this.

Expansion Pack Idea:

I would like to see different types of towns and different ways to live life as different creatures, for example, you could become a mermaid in sims 3, which was neat. How about taking that to the next level. Allow us to build underwater "houses" out of different material like seaweed and shells? We could have different types of food and interact with others in a different way. It would be cool to be a mermaid and live life as one in a simulation. Or live on another planet as an alien, live in a mystical forest as a fairy, live as a which in a far of land. ETC.

I would pay good money for something like that.

I would like an option in the gameplay settings to toggle the NPC gardener on/off. My sim is in a gardening club that meets (naturally) in a public area park, and they can't garden. I can make them fish together, but not garden. I don't mind the gardener on public lots when I'm not playing a gardening sim, but he makes it harder to pick up free harvestables and to level up in my club events. Just a toggle on/off in gameplay settings for public area NPCs would be good. I could turn them back on when I'm playing other sims. Thanks!

As I'm new to Sims, I really like 4. My only issue is with the fruitcake glitch. Once they've eaten it, they make a disgusting face every time they eat now. Repair game did not fix this. Otherwise, I love it.

I thought that was fixed in an update? Try clearing your gameplay cache thoroughly:

1. Move (not copy) Saves, Tray, Mods, Screenshots, and Custom Music folders and the Options.ini file to your desktop. Delete the Scratch subfolder from inside Saves.
2. Delete the rest of the The Sims 4 folder from your Documents > Electronic Arts folder.
3. Start the game, and exit the game. Now you have a fresh Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder.
4. Copy all the folders and the file back and start the game again.

I've played all of the Sims games except for Sims 2 and I'm honestly not as displeased with TS4 as many other simmers. I find I can actually play AND enjoy this game without any CC which I couldn't do in TS3. I of course miss toddlers and open world but I've gotten over them.

I still hope we get a supernatural expansion pack in the future and an apartment life type of EP but as history proves, we will get them eventually.

I really like the Sims 4 and I'm sure with a few more EP's it will be fantastic- it has a lot of potential. Just PLEASE EA, no more stuff packs!

My hubby got this for me for Valentine's!!!! So happy to be playing Sims again. (loved TS2 but my laptops/PCs don't. I did not like TS3)

-What you liked: I'm enjoying the pretty graphics and customization for almost everything! I love that the Sims are pretty without CC (makes me a little less sad that I don't have any expansions yet, haha)

-What you didn't like: I don't like that the toddler stage is gone. I miss apartment life, seasons, and pets

-Suggestions? I'd like to see more hairstyles and some of the features from TS2 like I said above seasons, apartments, maybe college life again.

-Overall thoughts? Love it so much!

I didn't read all 172 pages, so I'd imagine a few things I say will be a repeat. However, these are from my pov.

What I liked:
I like the way the game allows for social interactions that feel more natural. Group conversations were needed. I like that the Sims can multi-task to some degree eating dinner and having a conversation, or texting on the toilet. I like several details about build mode. The new exterior details on porches, roofs, chimneys, and trims are great.

What I didn't like:
I don't like not being able to raise or lower terrain. I don't like the limited coloration of the walls and floors.

Suggestions:
I would like magazine subscriptions back from Sims2, the tablet to be more useful, and for there to be more outdoor games.

Overall thoughts:
Distinguishes itself well from previous versions.

Let me start by saying I friggin love this game, always have and (unless they refuse to give my toddlers for Pete's sake!) always will! I've played right from the beginning and there have definitely been some changes, for the better and for the worse. First off, building! Love the new building mechanics. So much easier to just plop down rooms, drag walls, etc. Makes building a heck of a lot more fun! And I'm in love with the graphics. It has such a carefree, cheerful, cartoon-y aspect to it. I can't even remember if the sims 3 also had this, but I really noticed the background details. The trees blowing softly in the wind, the water textures flowing so nicely, the sheep grazing in the distance, ducks (and ducklings <3) swimming in the ponds, even the small details of finding a wood ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ tapping away on a tree while camping! It all has such a immersive feel to it! But then....then there are the bloody load screens. Ugh! Oh how I miss simply walking to my neighbors house, knocking on the door and being welcomed inside. Those dang load screens kill the immersion of the game. When the game was first released in 2014 I bought it right away! I had mixed feelings about so much, but as time passes and more and more content is released I'm being reminded why this game is awesome! It can only get better in my opinion!

Hmm for some reason the rest of my post never sent and I can't seem to edit it :/ anyways as I was saying lol.....

ducks (and ducklings) swimming in the ponds, and even the smaller details of finiding a woodpecker tapping a tree while on a camping trip in the woods! When the game was released back in 2014 I had mixed feelings, but as more and more content is released I'm being reminded of how awesome this game really is! And in my opinion, can only get better!

I wanted to add my 2cents, I've been playing the sims since the original game. I loved Sims 3 but it was so buggy and I had to install so much CC to get my sims to look like people or cartoonish people but they always looked like monsters. Coming from a multicultural family I wanted to make my sims resemble people I know but I couldn't manipulate the features like I wanted without them looking crazy. For that reason I love the Sims 4, they can look like real people. I don't have to install any CC. It's a lot smoother and not as buggy for me. There are so many experiences I missed out on the Sims 3 because the game was so slow and glitchy for me. I love the Sims 4 for that.

But I am disappointed with some of the game play esp. with the lack of toddler feature that really put me off, at least they gave us back the family tree. I hope soon we get a supernatural expansion pack and they keep improving.

As a fellow Simmer I for a long time have enjoyed the pleasure these games bring to me of being able
to fulfil stupid things I should already have in real life [such as a job no matter my experience or appearance].
When I watched the first commentaries when it released I was quite disappointed. Nevertheless I bought it anyway
as a Xmas gift to myself just a few months ago and I must say, it's an ok.

First with the good stuff:
I love the fact that the realist style was ditched and that yet again we have a much more in-depth way to create our Sims.
I can easily find my way to the options I want in the Body Shop thanks to the well executed GUI and adore the in-depth
facial sculpting options.
The potential for building is larger than before [despite the lack of pre-packed base game options, and despite the fact
that I have my own building style].
That said, I feel like Sims 4 is a spiritual predecessor to The Sims 2 [where our Sims were confined to their houses and
expressions were all over... you know, like slurping food].

Critical stuff:
Seeing how Electronic Arts has been neglecting quality over quantity lately can show itself sometimes in-game such
as cache glitches that won't allow my Sims to eat or check specific options [the unfortunate news at launch date
that pools were not included] and the fact that I can't place pools in basement levels anymore [I did that a lot in
The Sims 3 to save space]. Aside this, I have explored the maps with the TAB camera and found out that for some
reason other available lots have the furniture inside despite the fact that it takes a prolonged loading screen to visit my neighbours.
I am most definitely not a fan of the poorly designed map layout and I am disappointed there is no 24 hour clock.

I could go on for all nooks and crannies, but the truth is, this is not the game we were all expecting.
The game's file size is way too big for what we see in our screens considering that there are other games with much
more content and detail that are way smaller than the 10GB I had to download for this.
It is quite sad to think that this might be the last game of the franchise following the death of Maxis.

Personal rating: ***--

Sure, you had the ability to adjust the sims body a lot more effectively than previous games, but aside from that, cutting out the open-world feature (one of the best features ever introduced IMO) and limiting facial detail as well as boxy graphics, the game was just an immensely disappointing release and for me, failed to live up to The Sims 3.

I have not been playing the sims for too long. It started out with me playing The Sims Freeplay on my mobile device. Years or so later, I stumbled into youtubers such as Deligracy and LegitKawaii (check them out!) while on the hunt for good content. So then I became obsessed with the Sims 4, wanted it so bad, but my parents were hesitant. They finally allowed me to get it after going to an old friend's house and seeing that she had the game. A lot of people say that TS4 does not live up to TS3, but having never played TS3, I can't say. I have just had an overall great experience with this game and got one of my best friends into it, one of my cousins into it, and definitely love it myself.

I am a sims maniac i loved the sims 3 really felt like it was modern and innovative at the time i could not wait for the sims 4 ..........................................
Alas my grief and sadness..............what happened to our much beloved sims this game is the most boring game i have ever played in my life
it seems the fun and creativity has been sucked out.

We get it you guys want MONEY MONEY MONEY.... BUT....i would gladly pay a vast amount on this game if a little effort went into making it enjoyable and playable as the base game was in sims 3.

ok rant over i love the improved social interactions and overall graphics.

suggestions
more interactive things to do
shops to spend my hard earned simeoleons other then on clothes and plots
toddlers
cars
weather

I think this all should come for free it might perhaps take away that feeling of being ripped off, when in reality i would of probably have spent a ton more if i could actually play and enjoy this game.

now im off to play sims 3 with tears in my eyes

9. The Sims 4: Nature Life Stuff: Nature-themed, this stuff pack is for everyone, with cool nature things to do in it, with little gameplay (collecting things in the wild), with a few minor pets (some more fish, salamanders and frogs).

10. The Sims 4: Party Stuff: Adds party-themed stuff, really fun, with a few gameplay features (new parties, new music), where you can invite your Sims's buddies to the parties of their lives!

11. The Sims 4: Hollywood Stuff: Adds hollywood/movie-themed stuff (like TS3: Movie Stuff), this is really fun, from directing a fun movie to acting!

12. The Sims 4: Stone Age Stuff: *Final stuff pack* Stone age-themed, you can make your houses or bedrooms stone/cave-themed, with stone age clothing to add to your Sims!

@TFK_Simmer In the Sims 3 with each ep we got more than one traits! My question is why are we not getting all the traits along with some new ones? Is it that hard to put in game? They did it with a patch the Klepto trait which was my favorite in ts3!

Hello,

I like the Sim 4 so far but I'd like to see some Sims and architectural build options.

Sim life stages:
I'd like to see toddlers and younger looking teens. The current teens look too much like young adults and I miss the toddlers all together. I'm glad the infants aren't larva like in the Sims 3 but when they age up into school age kids, it's just weird.

Architecture:
My earliest favorite was designing houses. I like the build options from Sims 2 and am sorry that we don't have the multilevel cheats for Sims 4. I'd like to constrain elevations ( or similar function) so I can build split level homes and make U and L shaped stairs. Also, some homes high walls in the foyer and living areas but normal height walls elsewhere. I'd like Sims 4 to have those build options.

I understand why the Sims 4 world is not an open world, because of lag and too much of a memory hog, but at least make the mini neighborhoods open. Also, more empty lots or the ability to add new/additional neighborhoods.

I'd also like to make a POND on a lot. I like to make lots with landscaping.
