I've built a new clubhouse for Oasis Springs -- second floor is going to be a fun center with card tables, Don't Wake the Llama and darts -- this arcade machine will be perfect for it. Hoping it'll be a good spot for my teens to hang out.

Why care? It's a generic looping object like the TV and computer screen. Nothing actually goes on, it just randomly shows something and loops it to mimic 'interaction'. Its lame.

3. The Sims 4 (5 years later its decent)
4. The Sims 1
I don't really mind the size of the arcade game. It reminds me of some multi-player arcade games I've seen at places like Dave & Buster's, so it's pretty realistic. If it's a game they're all supposed to play at the same time (it looks like they're playing together), it makes sense that it would be that size.
If they make a console for home gaming (I hope they will), I would hope it would be normal size with wireless controllers so they can kick back on the sofa & play together.
Same here -- if 4 Sims can play at once it would have to be big enough to hold all of them.

Before I clicked on the link to see the picture, I thought it was going to be like the TS1/2 arcade machines where only 2 sims could play (and take turns) and I was like, "Eh, cool."
But when I saw the screenshot:
Now this is the kinda group activity items I want!

I was pretty surprised to be the first one to ask that. I wish they would show some renders with kids instead of YA. Don't they get we have enough of this kind of marketing?! Show us a kids club for a change!
The arcade machine is cool, but I would never buy an EP because of an object, so it doesn't change my decision.
I wonder if this was the large thing simguru Daniel said he was working on. I'm not a fan of some of the existing large objects in the game, including the cupcake machine. In this case however, it seems to need to be large.

I look forward to seeing the game they are playing then it's good with a large screen.
It's cool I guess, but why oh why does have to be so huge?
I asked the same question Why must everything in TS4 be so Big Why?
I think it might be to encourage players to make good use of the communal lots rather than just have one of everything in the sims' homes. Because one of the best features of Sims 4 compared to previous Sims games is their social interactions.
Good to see players excited over this. I might be among the minority who is not excited over this and it is actually good because I am not buying this pack
Everything I post is an opinion here and I think every post of others is as well.
It's good that they are adding extra content to bulk out the pack a bit but in my opinion it's still a long way off from being expansion pack worthy. If it's about social gatherings we should have a fully fleshed out dining experience. Sitting as a group at a table and being served. Not a casual cup of coffee where your Sims just stand around aimlessly holding it. If they had actual dining in this pack which they completely should have since it's focused on socialising on and about, then it would be worth the price.
ok nıce ın publıc spaces. But agaın soo huge. How about small game console lıke ın ts2 and ıs3 where you can play at home wıth frıends. Hope they wont forget to add those ın too
So how many people have complained their sims don't get out much because there's nothing to do? Now you can make an arcade and send your sims out for a fun experience.

Maybe one of the developers is compensating?
I think you might be onto something But Why Oh Why must they take it out on our Poor Sims Why??
