Sid1701d9 Build Challenge 1 Starts on 9/11/2015

I need your help building a starter house for my single mom sim. After living in the country she would like to move closer, but most homes are too expensive and the ones she can afford only have 1 bedroom and 1 bath. Please make her a great house. Now here is the rules for this challenge.

Rule 1 must not change the house shell, except for decorations and windows and wall heights, and wallpaper paint or brink or stone.
Rule 2 must not change lot size and can not go over 20,000 cost.
Rule 3 please post the link to completely finished challenge below.
Rule 4 requirement 3 beds and 1 bathroom.
Rule 5 have fun!
Winner will get acknowledged by me and the house used in my current game!

This is my first challenge and I would like to see what you all come up with.
This challenge is just for fun and designed to provide some excitement.

The required items have already been replaced feel free to change them out but keep in mind I put them in their to help the requirements.

The Shell will be uploaded when challenge starts.

Notice I have locked the walls in with fountain base to keep the walls from moving accidently.

Edit: Fixed one of the rules to clarify the requirement better.

Note: Some people have asked me about packs and CC yes, since I have all the packs in the game I can view them, In order to use CC please put the link to get the CC in the entry post. This CC must be free as I won't pay to use CC, so if you want me to see the house with the CC please add the link to get it. Also no CC that changes gameplay.

Sid's Challenge Complete is a very nice home @JasonAnthonySterling.

The textures of the exterior look nice. It looks very nice how you have placed the windows in the build. Very nice furnishing of the interior. Very nice kitchen area! The windows look very nice placed on the corners, creating a nice light filled kitchen nook area, for sims to enjoy the sunlight coming in whilst cooking meals and dining there. The blue colour scheme of the kitchen looks nice. The blue wall tiling gives a nice look to the room. Nice bar stool counter area for sims to enjoy sitting on the stools eating a meal. Nice study desk area for sims to enjoy sitting at the table using the computer. It looks nice how you have placed the sofas facing each other in the living room, for sims to enjoy chatting face to face whilst sitting there. Sims will enjoy sitting resting there, watching TV and listening to music from the wall speaker. The pink and blue colour schemes of the kids rooms look nice.
The home is very nice

Sorry is it 1 bedroom with 3 beds or are multiple bedroom allowed for the 3 beds.

Never mind I read the 1 bedroom as a requirement but in rereading I see you mean that those are the only homes in her price range.

Spacious Starter is very nice! @Peacie5

The exterior texture looks nice, and the stone pillar looks nice at the front entrance to the home. The tree and flowers add a nice look to the outdoors areas. The roofing is very nice! Very nice living room! It looks very nice how you have placed the windows there, for sims to enjoy the sunshine coming in whilst sitting there watching tv. They will have nice views of the outdoors through the windows whilst sitting there. Nice side wall study desk area for sims to enjoy sitting at the table reading a book from the bookshelf. The blue patterned floor rug looks nice. Very nice kitchen. The black and white colour scheme of the room looks nice. It looks nice how you have used the kitchen floor tiling to separate off the kitchen area. Nice bar stool counter area for sims to enjoy dining at. The pink and the blue heart teddies in the kids bedrooms are very cute! The pink colour scheme of the girls bedroom is pretty.

I don't seem to be able to post a link. I can find the house under the name cherpar on the sims in game gallery and on the app gallery - however it does not appear on the web version. I assume its because it thinks its modded, even though I don't use cc. Sorry, hope you can find it.

Simple Living is very nice @ShesVeryNice

The flowers in the front garden nook are pretty! The windows look nice how you have placed them in the home. Nice sofa and armchair sitting area in the living room for sims to enjoy watching TV. Sims will enjoy the sunlight coming in onto them through the windows whilst preparing meals in the kitchen. It looks nice how you have placed the two single beds in the kids bedroom.
The home is a nice starter

I tried to find your house but it's not showing up. Maybe try re-uploading it to the gallery?

as far as the bedrooms go it don't matter, the requirement is for just 3 beds, This home is a requirement for a single mom and her 2 kids. So if you like the drama of sticking them all in one bedroom go for it.

I couldn't find it in the gallery you can save the lot to your library, but it won't upload to the gallery unless you click on the lot and the cloud is highlighted green. This is why you can find it in your library on the app and in game, because its connected to your account just click the blow cloud that says share and it will turn green, wait a few minutes it takes 15 to 30 minutes for the lot to update to the gallery. Now you can go to the web gallery and find it under your username. Click the challenge house that you finished and copy the link once the popup window shows up the link to the house will be there in the URL and past that to this forum.

@Sid1701D9 @Mmdrgntobldrgn thanks for looking for the house.

I don't know what else to do. The only option I get (with the green button) is to remove from community. However the house will only appear for me (under my username on the gallery) if I select Advanced, include custom content. As I said I don't use any CC, so I am confused. Could you possibly try ticking the Include Custom Content button to check if you can then see the house, if you don't have the CC option enabled.

Hello @cherpar.

I just checked the Gallery, and your home is showing up for me when I click " include cc content" . It doesn't show up if I don't click the button. It is a very nice home!
I just wanted to let you know that it is appearing on the Gallery.

thank you @rosemow for checking. do you know why its showing cc when I only use gameplay mods? edit nevermind. Its probably because I use a smaller cupcake machine, so that's probably classed as cc. Its not in the house though.

Hello @cherpar.
To prevent your builds from showing that they are modded try doing this. :
Move your mods folder to your desktop.
Delete the cache files.
http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/
Then go back into your game and upload your lots and check to see if it still says that it is modded.
Then come out and add back your mods/cc.

Very nice exterior of the home! The curved front porch is nice. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! The wooden flooring looks nice. Very nice dining nook! The scenic pictures on the dining wall are nice for sims to see as they are enjoying eating their meals there. The red and orange colour scheme of the living room looks very nice. Nice sofa seats sitting area for sims to enjoy sitting resting there watching TV and listening to music from the radio. It looks nice how you have used the half wall to separate off the kitchen from the living room areas. Nice study desk nook for sims to enjoy using the computer at the desk table. The books are a nice touch on the desk table. The colour schemes of the bedrooms are very nice! The pink colour scheme of the girls room looks pretty! The heart teddy is cute on the dresser! The toiletries are a nice touch on the dresser too. The curtains look very nice how you have placed them in the master bedroom. The candles look very pretty on the bedside tables.
The home is very nice

Modern Starter is very nice @Soraya4sims

Very nice roofing! The front footpath looks nice and the trees are nice touches either sides of the front entrance. The furnishing of the interior is nice. Nice red sofa seat sitting area for sims to enjoy resting there watching TV. The dining area looks very nice how you have placed the dining seats on each side of the square table and have the circle floor rug under the table. The bathroom floor tiling is nice. The narrow windows give a nice look to the home.
It is a very nice starter

Char you need to change the name of the lot as the name matches the original build challenge shell and because their are two with the same name the original will override the newer one. You just have to change the name to something other than Sids Challenge Building 1
