Loading screen question

Hello,

I just purchased The Sims 4 and installed it - went to start up my game. I get to the main screen where you can hit the play button (and some other options at the top right), but as soon as I go to click anything this plumbob icon pops up with the title, "__________ award" then at the bottom says that i have new things available in CAS and build mode. This doesn't seem to ever go away...is this a loading screen or what?

I didn't notice it when I installed it on my laptop several months ago, but when I installed it on this computer last month (right after the June patch), I noticed the first time took a long time for those rewards I got from owning Sims3. It eventually continued after about 6-7 minutes (and going through what seemed like a dozen rewards) and has not had a problem since.

Those popups come up for a bunch of different things, the rewards for all the Sims 3 expansions you own, the digital collection packs, etc. They only ever appear once each, so they'll go away once you've seen them all.

@JenniferHipHop, @Widlerwolf is right. As soon as they come up once on your main menu, they shouldn't appear again (unless it is obviously different content).

But to answer your first question, these are not loading screens. They are just to show you your new content.
