@EuphorialQueen They are two different challenges - and the rules for each are separately posted in threads of their own.
@ddominic - I did add the neighbourhood wishes a few days ago (I don't always post when I add a challenge.) I hadn't added the other one - having ten babies with ten women before adulthood doesn't seem possible. And why would he move the children in when they reach teen?
Umm. If it's not possible then why when I played on my friends laptop, I was able to impregnate ten women in 16 days? And moving them in is an optional rule for more of a challenge to control more sims. @Nicarra60
And it was the most simple technique, on his first day any young adult/adult girl that walks by I greeted them and invited them to hang out and by 2PM there were like ten girls and he automously had a group conversation and was able to make two friends and make quite a good relationship so I was in luck.
With the highest respect, the link to the Royal Kingdom Challenge leads to a very brief and inaccurate description of the actual challenge. It was one of the most popular challenges in TS2 days, and I have now uploaded a full version in the words of the original creator, EnblithTheFair.
Would it be possible for someone to find, or create, a Romeo & Juliet challenge for the Sims 4?
Hmmm, this would be interesting...
I found a Sims 3 one but it's a legacy challenge that the 10th generation is your actual Romeo and Juliet. Seems a bit tedious if you didn't want to do a legacy - and it is Sims 3 which means it may need some work to update it.
@Nicarra60 Thank you very much for adding Enblith's Royal Kingdom Challenge. I really appreciate it. I thought it would be a generational challenge, but really, I am just pleased to see it listed there for others to try. I have had actual years of enjoyment out of it!
Would u b so kind as 2 add my challenge...The Drifter Challenge....2 the list please
I'm not quite sure WHAT list category it will fall under since as a long standing (ongoing) challenge it might b considered a rebuild of the town challenge....but if the mini-house challenges r played separately they could all fall under short challenges etc.
Myself & @ least 3 others have done Let's Plays on The Drifter Challenge House 001.....& in less than a week....The Drifter Challenge House 002 will launch. Everything that I have launched (or will launch in the future) is play tested by myself & @ least 3 other individuals. Rules & Let's Plays will continue 2 b posted as well. I hope u enjoy the challenge!!
This is the link 2 the main page of The Drifter Challenge...has some background on it, the links to House 001 mini-challenge as well as the "table of contents" for all future house mini-challenges being added.
@Vihisha I've been waiting for the challenge to be a little more developed. One house mini-challenge that is obviously the lead in to a longer challenge seems a bit early. After the second mini-challenge launches, I'll shove it on the list.
@GymeaLillie - you are right. Should move that up to the generational challenges.

I just had not heard anything from u since I posted on your wall or anything, so just didn't wanna' fall under the radar
So...jolly good...THX
I believe it should be generational since your main Sim goes through 12 iterations, each with unique traits. I created the challenge borrowing the concept of a legacy challenge, but more solo oriented. I think it's perfect for simmers who loves managing single sims, but also experience generational game play.
i'm in the middle of a legacy now but decided to ask my question anyway, i haven't played since updating but will start agin tonight i heard the npc now have jobs will that change the rules.

Actually, no. It's not a generational challenge. Your time lord does not get married, have children, raise children, and those children take on the next generation. There's no true legacy aspect to this challenge.
More similar is the Clone Challenge. You are taking the same Sim through multiple experiences and lifetimes. The Time Lord Challenge is far more formalised, the Clone thing was more a style of play and only got a brief set of rules because a fan asked for them.

Thanks for clarifying @Nicarra60. It make sense when you define it that way. I had thought that the TL Challenge would fall under the "other generational challenge" definition since it has generations of the same sim. I also thought that having families and children would fall under the "legacy" definition.
So, as part of my personal quest to recreate 17th century France via the Sims and then do experiments, I've posted another video to youtube. In this one I recap events so far (the first minute) and then go on to convert a perfectly nice castle from one of modern convenience to one of Baroque splendor and discomfort. It's at: https://youtu.be/Notytz43uAo
If you're interested enough to watch, I'd love to have your feedback.
@Nicarra60, I've posted the rules for the Entrepreneur Challenge (found here.) The basic premise is that it's a rotational game in which sims can own only what they buy from each other's stores.
I would love for my challenge to be added to the list.
The Sims 4 Escort Challenge (Requires Get To Work)
"In this challenge the goal is to make money with the assistance of your escorts. You will create a Manager who handles all of the finances and deals with the customers and you will have up to 7 escorts (your preference) to tend to the customers needs. Not all customers want to get right down to business or at all for that matter so it's up to you to find an escort that is best for your customer and will meet their every need or desire. Customers will purchase a models portrait and that determines which escort they desire. They will leave after they make their purchase so whoever you had ring them up will have to call them back to the lot when you are ready for them."
It's a lot of fun for those who like the romance and dating aspects of The Sims 4.
