Sorry for the title. But I'm flippin.
This world looks great! I was hoping the Retail District would overlook the beach (I mentioned I wanted something like Surfers Paradise).
This was the Pic I posted;
I can not actually believe how close it looks to what I was hoping for. So Excited.

There's no way they could ever remake the beauty of Twinbrook in Sims 4.
Meh, I beg to differ.
Reminds me of the industrial part of Willow Creek in a way. Don't think it would be hard to do.

You are right, I am missing the TS3 worlds, especially Aurora Skies and Dragon Valley ... but nevertheless I can't wait for the new EP !!
I do too miss some TS3 worlds, I always liked how Twinbrook had a grittyness about it like the residence were somehow hard done by.
Eah...... I don't know..... I think that we might just have to agree to disagree on this one. Personally, I just can't see beautiful scenery like this being in Sims 4. It just wouldn't be right.
I'm sorry..... but I just can't see it. Not with how Sims 4 is set up graphically/artistically.
and on the gam picture sorry, but where the beach?? i dont see any beach on the game scene, we see the river boat in the background, this dont looks being "near any beach"
and to be fair i dont see being equal to the picture you post, at last real world is not so "colorfull".
Yeah, when I want a world like that I will play TS3. Don't really want re-hashes. My point is, it wouldn't be hard for them to make a world with that amount of detail. It would just be brighter and more colourful
Not the same as the grittiness of Twinbrook, but I think some of The Sims 4 worlds will look good in their own right (Y)
Base game worlds always look basic (ahem Sunset Valley & Riverview say hello).
The difference between SV and RV compared to Twinbrook was insane.

God, the smog is awful in that town.
I know right...... Trust me it get's a lot worse. Every time I see scenic pictures of worlds like Aurora Skies, Monte Vista, or Dragon Valley it just depresses me...... I really don't think we can get worlds like this in Sims 4......
With every game they change the naming of it. In the Sims 2 they were "Neighborhoods" and The Sims 3 they were "Worlds" and now they are "Worlds" with "Neighborhoods" and whatever. I mean Neighborhood.
And theres the lighthouse (theres another one in the beach part of Willow Creek already) and Palm Trees. I'm guessing its Coastal.
And in terms of colours, the Sky is a similar blue, the ground even matches in a way. The only difference is, the trees aren't as bright.

I thought that was early morning fog.
Never say never. People though the Sims 3 worlds would just be simple terrain, roads and trees until Twinbrook came out with all the extra details.

Did they say the new neighborhood or district would be overlooking the beach?
Twinbrook is an industrial town. It's most likely a mixture of both

Yes, but I think @jackjack_k has also made a good point. Future Sims 4 worlds will look better than the base game worlds. You already see the improvement in Granite Falls. The hermit's place has a wonderful smooth and golden light. I hope they will continue on this path - and I hope the TS4 Seasons EP will kill this fake blue sky!
Well you can see a Lighthouse, and Lighthouses are at the coast.

Beautiful pics!
Yeah probably. I guess it could be worse. It could have been that California smog. I hear it's really bad.
PLEASE SIM GODS MAKE IT HAPPEN

Where is the lighthouse in that picture? Tried zooming in but I don't see it

It's slightly covered by the thought bubble. The Sims 4 uses steel frame Lighthouses, rather than Brick ones, but I recognized it

Okay, sorry-I guess I'm blind. I didn't see the lighthouse which is why I asked the question.
