I started building kitchens for the contest and that snowballed into bedrooms, then adding a hallway and stairs and stacking them and adding a bath. Wonder where this will go next.

That happens to me as well. I start building a " tiny room" then I end building an entire house.

I am just the opposite I usually run a very basic house but lately I have be trying to make more pretty rooms/house designs.

I stacked a couple of my bedrooms, put a kitchen next to it and added 2 more bathrooms. I'll have to take some screen shots next time I'm in the game.
