You know what else I wouldn't mind in a holiday patch?
Santa Claus. Like, make him appear like the Grim Reaper does (except in a much cheerful, happier way of course) and have him drop by some gifts of content in game, like cowplant seed, space plants, anything that would otherwise be seen as rather hard to get without cheats.
LOL I loved Santa in Sims 2. How if you put up a tree and leave some cookies, he would appear and leave a gift (though at times he got a little weird and annoying).
I see that happening more with a seasons EP where with seasons, they have all this holiday and season related events and weather, etc....
Hobby lobby puts their christmas stuff out in August.
Well, there's a store down here called "Garden Ridge" (although recently it's called "At Home" now lol), but they had all their Christmas stuff out in JULY. I'm talking full on Christmas trees, front yard inflatables, decorations, everything......IN JULY.
I actually stopped in place when I walked into the store and saw that. I've worked in retail, so seeing it a bit early (like in September) doesn't bother me so much...but JULY?!
Feel like friending me in the TS4 gallery? Search for "StephyDee" and look for the random goof who talks about machinima and plum knows what else.
If this worked, you'd be seeing an awesome siggy I made down there *points down*. *sigh* C'est la vie...
That's what I hate about WalMart - they always have Christmas stuff too early.
Although for folks who make their holiday gifts it's almost too late -- depending how many gifts you have to make and how long each one takes. And if you're buying stuff to ship overseas you have to get that done early to make sure it gets to the recipient in time (clearing Customs plus screening for illegal stuff, etc.).
