@Onyxemery I bought the set. I don't use the venue itself but I like the new dance floor, lockers and shower. I also like the new hairstyles that come with the venue. If those items don't appeal to you then I would save your sp for something else.
Oh yeah! I forgot about the two cute "dancer" styles that come with it. Hmm, I'll probably just wait on the venue though. My "gut-feeling" is kind of telling me to avoid it, so I probably will this time around.

Sorry for randomly popping in (I seem to do that on your thread randomly lol), but I had a question about the Skylight Studio for the Performing Arts lot.
I already own the ballet bar, and being as the lot is not available as part of the CYS discount, I was wondering if it was even worth buying for the rest of the lot (considering to me the ballet bar is the main draw.) Do you think the rest of the stuff included with the lot (and the lot itself) are worth the full/daily deal price? Or am I pretty much set with already owning the ballet bar?
I suppose if you like to build the skylights could be fun. I'm not a builder myself, so not much in it excited me besides the ballet bar.
Even though I don't build that much, I love the glass pieces, because of builds you can download on the Exchange. If you check out Wallin's studio, he has some great Exchange lots that use those pieces.

I think this was only because the original price of the item was 25 points. From what we've been able to tell, the way the DD is done, they don't set up "percentages" for each item to be off, they randomly set the sale price and store that in a separate database from the actual prices, once that sale price has been determined, and it's usually based on 10-80% of the original price. Then if the original price goes up or down, it doesn't affect the DD sale price.
That's why occasionally we see odd discounts like 1%, and sometimes even negative discounts. In this case it was in our favor; because the item went up in price, and the sale price remained set at 10, it counts as a higher amount towards CYS on the set as a whole. Unfortunately, that isn't always the case with DD sales.
Is The Coffee Bean Hipster got any compilations sets? Just wondering and curious. I may not stay up for the Skylight Studio! But it's in my wishlist but got to be in bed shortly and will missed it!
I have some great news too guys/gals! My Dr. called me in something to help with all my icky-ness and it's working so far really well. Time to be hopeful that it keeps working and I can get back to normal!

Since I already caved last time on the Skylight Studio, it can't tempt me now. I am way too impatient to be a good DD stalker. So I would definitely pick up the Stäncké collection, @Ximph, but I don't know, if it's the best advise.
