I have to say, I was never really into playing with pets in my games. But Carly is just such a cutie, so she's been "installed" in one of my newly made families, that I hope to present here as soon as I am done with their new home!

Your showcase thread is looking great! :) Great makeover of it! It is great that simmers can come here and see pictures of the resudential and community lots, sims and pets that you build and create. The index at the front that lists your creations is great.
    Happy simming and creating! :)

I think you may have missed them because the pictures were missing. And I'm glad you like the casino and the beach silly house, but mostly, I am glad that you like the Seafoam. It's one of the houses I have made that I personally like the most too ;).

    Hey hun!
Yeeep, out with the old and in with something that is (hopefully!) a lot better .
Get yourself organized, you can always save the old "bad" builds, so you can giggle at them later. That's what I've done, cause I want the Studio to reflect my work from the first wobbly steps to the best I have to give! *hugs*

Peachy as Pie is a very nice bakery ! :) Very nice exterior of it! The thatched texture of the roofing and the paneling of the exterior walls looks very nice! The pattern on the front exterior roof part looks very nice. It looks nice how you have done the window awnings. It looks very nice how you have placed the produce baskets , pots , flowers and breadsticks outside the front windows, and surrounding the seat benches on the side patio area. Sims will enjoy sitting on the seats there, enjoying the sunshine, and have the nice flower and bakery items for them to enjoy seeing. The vine entwined street lights look nice. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the bakery! Very nice shades of peach that you have used, and the wall pattern looks nice. It looks nice how you have set up the tables and chairs for sims to enjoy sitting on and eating their bought food. Nice type of dining seats that you have used and pretty patterning of them. The heart shaped lamps on the walls and the lamps that you have placed on the tables look nice and add a nice feel and look to the bakery when sims are buying and then eating their food. It looks nice how you have placed the framed pictures on the wall. They look homely . The flowers and pots nearby the window and in the corner nook are nice for sims to see when sitting eating at the tables. It looks great how you have placed and stocked the display cabinet and rack. The pattering on the curtains looks very nice.
It is a nice bakery to visit to enjoy buying some pies and cookies! Great name for the build too! :)

Your words means so much to me and I am really glad you like this bakery. I was actually having a hard time picking between names. My options were Peachy As Pie and Auntie Bea's Bakery. I'm glad you think I went with the right one! *HUGS*.

So I've been working on a little something called "Strawberryfields Forever".

I'll be making 3 versions of it. 1) Family (with kids) version, 2) Grandma & Grandpa version and 3) Shop style community lot version.
I wanna show you some screenshots of the family style version, because I am having some doubts about something and I think some input may be a good idea.
Remember, all the pictures are WIP pictures, so wallpapers etc. have NOT been sorted yet :D.

Front. Thinking of moving it to a bigger lot, so I have more room for the stables and more room for landscaping/making playgrounds/stuff. What do you think?
    StrawberryFieldsForever1_zps9cdfc4c6.jpg

    Rear. Same as above applies.
    StrawberryFieldsForever6_zpse0b1fbc1.jpg

    Bottom floor (kids room).
    StrawberryFieldsForever4_zps8303c20e.jpg

Bottom floor (kids room). Here is where I am thinking of making these changes:
Moving the play kitchen over where the X's are. Removing the door that is at the bottom X and put some windows there instead. Since the front door is up at the top deck anyways, I think it'll give the kids more room to play/putting in a tea party area for them. What do you think?
    StrawberryFieldsForever5_zps628ea537.jpg

Entrance floor, living area, kitchen and this is where I wanna put the tea set.
Removing the display end tables closest to the kitchen and place the tea set between the reading corner and the TV corner. What do you think?
    StrawberryFieldsForever3_zpsdf82ee06.jpg

Top floor, adult sleeping area. This one I am fairly happy with the layout of so far.

    So, input, anyone? :)

Strawberry Fields Forever looks great! :) It is great that you are doing three versions of it. Your plans for the kids room, and for where to put the tea set sounds great! Very nice exterior of the house! The layout of the fencing and gates of the outdoors area looks great! It is great that you have placed the mill water wheel in your build. I will look forward to seeing updates of the versions of your build ! :)

Would you want a house like this on a bigger lot (for a full family with kids), to make more room for play areas and horses outside? I'm still having doubts about that one...

    Soo,, advice :D

First - I think it looks great already! Nice variation in wall patterns on the main building, the adorable little roofs are nicely made! I love the colour scheme and I think the stone fencing looks great  The barn is another really nice edition to it, gives it even more character, the hey - nice to see the water wheel!

Now, hmm any constructive criticism - not much, you've done it very nicely :D but since you're asking opinions: If you're gonna build it on a hill like that, raised up from the main lot, I think you should smooth it out a little. The square patch looks a bit odd round the back, and quite unnatural. If you mess about with the landscaping tools it could look really effective, built on a hill and all, different layers etc. But yes, I'd lose the block of earth in the way it is  Maybe loosen up a little with the stone fencing, too: it looks great, don't get me wrong - but I think may a little less of it. Even varying it, maybe replacing some of the stone work for a rickety wooden one, just to give it a bit more character. Make the barn more easy to get to as well ;) An easy access point.

    I hope I have helped you :D ~YJ~

It looks Lovely Dolphine! I think a bigger lot might be nice, as you said, for room for the kids to play, etc. You always do such wonderful landscaping, I'm sure it will look Gorgeous once it's finished.

The little play area off to the left should look great and the tea set should fit in on the main floor nicely. Nice job with the new store items! Looking forward to more! :XD:

It looks really beautiful. The façade is really striking. You're all there with the ideas, you just need to move stuff around and finagle with certain stuff to see what works and what doesn't. I would try deleting the fence that surrounds the hill and instead cover it with landscaping rocks and bushes. Just an idea, I don't know if it'll look any good. Also, I'm not a fan of the color that you used for the fence. i would make it more grey.
