Thanks so much for the pictures everyone. Mine will be coming soon. :P I've got 2 households that will be celebrating. The Carter Household and the Stein Household. I think I'm going to have the Stein's rent a cabin in Hidden Springs and say they went on a Mountain Vacation for the Thanksgiving Holidays.
Michelle and Ben visited HS after it was first releaseed. Michelle enjoyed herself so much that she asked Ben if they can go back this Thanksgiving.
So with the Stein Household I'll be decorating a cabin. It won't have the orange/brownish walls just the harvest stuff. With the Carter Household it will have the orange/brownish walls plus the harvest stuff.
It is nice that your sims family is celebrating Simsgiving on their houseboat Mariofan246 Nice shades of orange and green of the clothes that your sims are wearing, which suit Thanksgiving. The pumpkins shelves on the wall look great. Great to celebrate a Simsgiving meal in a boat on the water, with sea views to look out at.
Hello everyone and Happy Simsgiving!
I had the Lai family host Simsgiving at their house and the kitchen (where I decorated) was full of food and they, along with their guests went outside (where I didn't decorate) to eat. Here's the pics:
And here's the url to my blog where I've posted more pictures.
Your sims look like they are enjoying Simsgiving with family and friends QTBrniis It is great that Gil cooked the meal and that the dishes turned out perfect. The centrepiece on the table looks nice. It is great that there is a highchair there for little sims to sit in. The sims would have enjoyed eating the delicious meal outside in the air.
It is great fun to play sport outside at family celebrations. Your sims looks like they are enjoying playing football and outdoors at Simsgiving time. JoubertCG
This is what I have copied from the ZOO U course thread in Creative Corner part of the forum which explains how to post pictures on the forum.
Directions for Posting Photos in a Forum Thread:
1. Get a free account from PhotoBucket or any other photo hosting site.
2. Follow the directions on the photo hosting site to create an album and upload photos. It will give you an option to Browse your computer to find the photos to upload. If you want to upload screenshots from your game, you will find them in the Electronic Arts folder, in the Sims 3 sub-folder, and in the Screenshots sub-sub folder.
3. Once your photos are in the photo-hosting site, you want a thing called the image code. On Photobucket you hit the little gear icon and choose "Get Links" and then click on the image code one and it copies the code to the clipboard.
4.right-click inside your post on the forum thread and choose "paste" (that will paste what is in the clipboard-- in this case the image code for your photograph--- into your thread).
5. Photographs that come from a photo-hosting site are too big and will break the thread if you don't resize them. To resize them just type "width=600" (INCLUDING QUOTES) right before the [/IMG] in the long string of symbols which is the image code. Be sure you don't have any spaces added in when you do this and make sure you don't gain or lose any of the symbols from the image code.
6. Choose "preview" to look at what your post will look like before you post it. If you photos all look to suit you then post away!
There's a lot to do before Thanksgiving - Granny Grey is stuffing the turkey with her special witch stuffing.
Smells good... looks good... and probably tastes even better!
Granny's pumpkin pie tastes like magic - without using witch craft!
Old Missy is bringing the turkey for the orphanage : "You'll have to pass on that receipt one day, you know." "Uhum... but not today... and not to you!"
There's hardly time left to decorate - get those magic wands out and whip up some pumpkins and stuff...
And here they are - right on time! "Oh, Granny! I've missed you so much!!!"
Thanksgiving at the Grey witche's cove : Granny Grey, her evil little sister "Old Missy", her daughter Shasta and her grand daughter Taïga. Shasta's noble warlock husband, Leonardo Di Grisogno of Monte Vista is also there.(His magician stage name is "The Dazzler", you've probably heard of him!) Their little son Rocco is also around, probably playing with the cats...
Thanks QTBrniis! Thanksgiving ended quite funny though - I'm concentrating on Taïga, so I let the others go ahead and do what they wanted = Granny's son in law, Leonardo, started to flirt with Granny. A lot of yelling and "awkward, creepy" moments later, Shasta broke up with him and stayed at Granny's for the night. Even the cats have red plumbobs beacause of the break-up...So, I haven't decided if I'll try to patch things up again, or let the new lovers be - I admit Leonardo is Granny's age, so we'll see... Happy Simsgiving!
Very nice Thanksgiving photos and words to accompany them jillbg Granny Grey looks and sounds like a great cook. It is nice to see the picture of all the members of the family eating their meal together.
Great Medieval themed Simsgiving celebration Squeakady Nice outfits that your sims are wearing. Nice furnishing of the dining area with the various pumpkin décor items. The type of dining seats that the Sims are sitting on look great and suit the medieval theme. The would have enjoyed eating the pumpkin pie.

Indeed my pictures will also include some sports. One of which is frisbee throwing on Thanksgiving.
Thank you rosemow! You're so sweet, having a nice word for everyone - I think you've truly understood the meaning of the small things in life. Have a nice Thanksgiving and a very happy Simsgiving!
Thankyou very much jillbg I hope that you, and everyone who has posted on this thread or is enjoying looking at the pictures posted in this thread have a very special Thanksgiving time too.
I also wish you a Happy Thanksgiving Rosemow and my pictures will hopefully be up sometimes next week. I've gotten waylayed because of the news that Simguru Copeland is posting a major hint tomorrownight on twitter regarding the next store world.
This Simsgiving my Simself is very thankful for his wife and companian Hannah who is also his best friend and his daughter Maxine. They're planning on having a big Thanksgiving this year.
