"Castle Contest score plan
1-5.... following rules
1-5.... bonus points for unique use of MOO (moveobjects on) & ALT Key(snapObjectsToGrid)
1-10... realism
So despite puppy wanting the castle to be made with the castle pieces, it's not being judged on it. The criteria are from page1 of this thread hope it helps!
This gothic castle was once home to the Lord and Lady Morte. Lord Morte was obsessed with alchemy. He wanted to create gold from lead and become the richest man in the world. Legend says that his wife, Lady Morte, grew tired of his obsession and confronted him. Lord Morte sentenced her to be imprisoned in the tower where she died of starvation. Soon after Lord Morte went mad, supposedly haunted by the angry spirit of his wife.
Let me take you around my Castle. You get up the ramp and find yourself in the outer circle where you can find the stables, the workers living house and the Inn. Over a suspension bridge you come to the gardening area. The steps leading to the inner circle, there you can find the chapel (it's wedding decorated), the big watchtower and the throne hall. A fountain and a small market area are also located there. The watchtower includes a library, a dorm, some study rooms and a jail in the basement. It's structured like typical medieval castles were.
Don't worry the Sims have no routing Problems, it's fully tested!
Your castle looks great! @ okester Great gothic theme of it. The red and black colours you have used for the interior look good. It looks great how you have put the candles on the fireplace and on the piano. Great way that you have used the candelabras in your build too. The furniture you have used for the dining area looks great and suits the feel of the build. Nice way you have set up the living room, with the seats facing the fireplace so sims can sit there and warm up or take a book from the bookcase and have a read. It is a great castle!
Your castle is very nice! @ nyxi Great designing of all the areas of it! It looks good how you have made an upwards ramp to enter the castle. Lovely wedding chapel, it looks very nice how you have done the pews and the flowers there. It looks great how you have set up the throne hall with the way you have done the throne, statues, flowers,piano and other seats and the ceiling lights looks good here. The market area looks good. Nice colours, patterns and panelling you have used for the interior of the castle.
It is a great castle for sims to enjoy living in!

Hello Anyone can enter wherever they live in the world. The contest ends June 11. I am not sure what time it would be BST. Once you have built your castle, you make a post here in this thread and post the link to your castle lot that is on the exchange. Then you can post some pictures of your castle here with a description of it.

Rosedale castle is great @ GreenDream19 Very nice design of the exterior! It looks nice how you have done the inner courtyard area with the fountain, the plants and seats to sit and rest on. Very nice furnishing of the interior. Great shades of red that you used. It looks good how you have done the office/study/library area with the bookshelves each side of the corner and the desk and globe. Great platformed throne, which looks good with the statues either side of it. The chairs you have used in the dining room suit the castle theme well. It is a great castle build!

There are around 12 or so entries I think? and each one will take about an hour to look over thoroughly, so I can start on the existing entries, im sure a few more may drop in before its closes, so judging is going to be a big task.
I have made myself a spread sheet and listed all the points down one column then I will make a column for each castle and score each castle as I go through them.
Before I start, is there anything you particularly want the judges to take into account, or are there any guidelines you want to throw out first?
And how will we send the scores back to you, I could for instance email you my spread sheet once ive completed it.
