I'm very excited! I think the game needs to move forward and now is the perfect time.

I won't be buying this game if they make the same mistake they did with SimCity, though. That would be a deal breaker for me.

If it's on line only like Sim City I'll be passing on it. If it's a better single player sandbox version of TS3 I'll be interested to see more.

I doubt they'll give us a trailer- but photos have been promised
Besides, the first sims trailers are never really like the actual games

I think The Sims 3 is my last stop. I love the game but I can't keep spending money haha

The only way I will be getting The Sims 4 is when they all go on sale at the end of the series haha

    Still very exciting news though!!

    Happy Simming! :D

I knew it. I probably won't be playing it but I suppose it will be interesting to see what they're going to do with it. It's disappointing though because I just know we're going to be left riddled with glitches for the sims 3 that are never going to get fixed as they're already probably more focused on sims 4. There is so much left that could be done for the sims 3 and we're never going to get it now.

Same here. You'll see me 10 years from now dragging the Sims 4 series out of a thrift store somewhere.

To be honest- I feel like there is so much more potential left in Sims 3
Though its not my favourite of the games and I feel like I loved 2 a lot better, S3 has so much more potential and areas to be discovered. The game hasn't reached its limits yet- and they're already moving on

    Couldn't agree with you more.
To all the people being negative - no one is forcing you to buy it. You will still have Sims 3.

Well that sounds very promising and should allay a lot of fears. Where did you find that?
