Yeah, she got quite the interesting mix from her parents. With the dapples she kind of makes me think of a giraffe even though the colors are all wrong.

Owen and Amelia were planning to move out on their own but Owen took a moment to feed the new foal before they left.
Penny was helping Isaac learn to walk while Owen and Amelia were packing up their things. It helped her not to feel sad about another of her children moving out on his own.
Amelia headed out first, with Owen saying good-bye to his mother and baby brother before he headed out as well.
Unfortunately the deal they had for a new house fell through so they moved in with Zack and Claire. Owen knew Zack and Claire had plenty of extra room because they had moved into a house with the same floor plan as Penny and Jacob's house. Zack and Claire do hope to have their own children but at the moment they don't need 4 bedrooms all to themselves.
Elias enjoys playing in the tree house.

It seems that things are heating up between Aiden and Felicity because he got this letter in the mail from her. Oh my!
With her large family Penny has had lots of practice preparing meals. All of that hard work paid off when she reached the top of the cooking skill!
Penny followed a lead she had heard about and was able to purchase a gorgeous stallion for Jasmine's next foal.
She helped settle him down after he was unloaded from the trailer.

His name is Diamond Desteny.
The next morning Diamond got to know Boreal. As Jacob watched the new stallion he congratulated Penny on a fantastic find. They talked about what kind of foal they would get from the pairing.
Elias likes helping out with the horses and Jacob encourages him. Elias took a try at bottle feeding Boreal while Jasmine was getting to know Diamond.
Not long after the new stallion arrived Penny and Jacob got a call from Zack with some good news. He and Claire are expecting their first baby! They are thrilled to become grandparents again.

One day as Jacob was going about the normal everyday work of a horse breeding ranch he was interrupted by his cell phone. He was pleased to see the call was from Selene. But when he answered the phone he was surprised to hear how upset she was. She told him that she hated, loathed and despised her school and begged to be able to come home. Jacob was surprised at this sudden change since she had always been very positive when anyone in the family talked to her. He told her that of course she could come home if that was what she wanted. She thanked him profusely and told him she didn't need anyone to come pick her up. A little bewildered Jacob hung up and then went to go tell Penny that Selene would be coming home again. Penny was naturally concerned to hear their daughter had been so upset but she was thrilled that Selene would be coming home.
Selene did achieve what she had wanted, she now has As in school. She also picked up some skills. I was hoping she would lose the kleptomaniac trait, but no luck.
She's also become quite personable.

Penny was waiting when the cab dropped her off but resisted the urge to run out and meet her.
She did meet her at the door however. "Welcome home, sweetheart! I'm happy to see you but sorry to hear you were unhappy at school. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Mom, really. I just missed you guys. It's good to be home again." Selene snuggled her little brother Isaac. She hadn't met him yet although she'd been sent lots of pictures.
Selene was a little nervous about going back to public school again but her twin, Aiden, sat next to her on the bus her first day back and reassured her that everything would be fine.
Selene and Aiden had remained close even though she was far away and he was the only one to whom she confided the real reason she left school. It had come out when she was quizzing him about his girlfriend and he had jokingly asked her if she had met anyone special. She admitted to him that she had fallen in love with one of the guys in her group of friends. She had hoped that they could become more than friends but then she had found out that he was in love with one of her best friends, Noelle. At first Noelle had not agreed to go out with him because she knew how Selene felt about him. But when Selene talked to her friend she had discovered that Noelle had been in love with him even longer than she had been and had just never said anything. Selene had been surprised and then told her friend to go ahead and be with him if she felt that way. But seeing them together had been too difficult even if she wanted her friend to be happy so she had come home. Aiden had sympathized and been the best supportive brother he knew how to be.
Although Selene went through a rough time some things never change it seems. She still goes out on the deck to eat. Even at night. In the rain. Maybe it's the loves the outdoors trait.

Not long after Selene arrived home it was time for the prom. Aiden and Felicity would be going together but Selene didn't know anyone well enough to have a date so she was going alone.
Aiden was excited and dressed in his best and rented a limo.
Selene was joining him and his girlfriend in the limo, but as you can see from her expression she wasn't all that excited about it. Truthfully she didn't feel ready to date anyone and going alone to a prom so soon after returning to the school didn't seem like much fun. She didn't really know anyone and as great a brother as her twin was it was clear he would be wrapped up in his girlfriend all night.
As Selene expected Aiden and Felicity spent all night together. They both had a blast.

But Selene's night hadn't been a total bust. In a complete shock to her she ended up being voted as Prom Queen!

Jacob started training Boreal. They were out riding when suddenly overtaken by a thunderstorm.
Boreal was spooked but Jacob has the skills to calm her down so that she didn't throw him. He did have her head back home though.
He also worked with Diamond while waiting for confirmation from the vet that Jasmine was pregnant.
When he got back Penny let him know the vet had called and Jasmine was expecting another foal! Hearing the good news made Jacob think about his grandchild on the way. So while he was out training Boreal he decided to drop by and visit.
He chatted for a few minutes with Owen and Amelia. Owen joined the political career and so far he was doing well. (He may be insane, but hey, that doesn't mean he can't be a politician. ) Amelia wanted to try the acting career and since Zack is in the same field he was able to get her a job on one of the sets. Then Claire got up from her nap and Jacob went to see how she was feeling.

She told him that she was feeling great and that she and Zack are very excited about their new baby. Jacob got to feel the baby kicking. He let her know that if she needed anything he and Penny would be happy to help out. He told her how happy they were to be having another grandchild.

He headed home not long after since it was getting late. When he arrived home Penny greeted him overflowing with excitement. Kayleigh had called and she and Caleb were expecting their first baby!
"That's great!" Jacob exclaimed as he gave his wife a hug. "I was starting to think she was too caught up in her music career to ever have children." "Well," Penny said, losing a little of her enthusiasm. "She admitted that she and Caleb have actually been trying to have a baby for a while. I guess she didn't inherit our fertility because they had a lot of trouble conceiving. They had just given up and now she found out about this baby." "Oh," Jacob said. "I had no idea. That makes it even more wonderful! I'm so happy they finally got what they wanted so much."
Not long after the happy news it was time for Isaac to age up to child. Unfortunately it happened all by himself right after he had gotten off the potty. Not the most dignified place. He was excited anyway.
He looks just like Jacob did at that age but oh wow he has no sense of fashion! And what's with the pink boots? I wish he still had those adorable curls though. Why are there no hairstyles for men or boys with curly hair except the afros? I don't think an afro would work on Isaac.
The same night Jasmine gave birth to her second foal.
When Jacob and Penny saw the little filly they agreed the name Unique fit her perfectly.
She got quite a fascinating mix of her parents.

I think it looks like mom's coloring came in from behind and dad's coloring came in from the front and they collided in the middle with spots and white patches. Unique wants to know what you think.
With the foal born Penny took Diamond to be sold since his job was done. And he did a great job!

Spooky Day arrived and Kayleigh and Caleb threw a costume party. Yet again everyone, all six of them, got into the two seater sports car. This time two heads are poking out, and they're not even all in yet.
And voilà here they all are! It's like the clown car of sports cars. And is Jacob thinking about having another baby to squeeze into the car or is he thinking about his grandkids?

Selene and Elias both decided to be Tigers. Owen came as well and being insane he naturally didn't wear a costume.
Aiden went as a pirate and Isaac became an alien.
Kayleigh apparently decided to take toy form as her costume since she inherited the ability from Penny. But she was throwing up when they arrived.
Penny went inside to see how she was feeling and gave her some practical advice about dealing with morning sickness. Even if throwing up was no fun Kayleigh was very happy about the baby.
The house is really tiny so most everyone stood around talking outside. The sunset was beautiful though.
Jacob asked Caleb if they were planning on moving before the baby was born and if they needed any help. Caleb said they needed no help and they were looking for a new house. During the party they got the call from Zack that Claire had just given birth to a baby boy named Jaime.

It was an afternoon party so shortly after the sun went down they headed home. Jacob and Penny knew the kids wanted to go trick or treating. They agreed to stick together so the teenagers could keep an eye on the younger kids.
While the kids were out trick or treating Jacob and Penny had their own celebration.
The kids were disappointed to find that their neighbors were not home. Aiden thought it was totally lame to be out on the most important night of the year. Selene was tired so she went to bed but the boys stayed outside and played for a little while.
Well, the boys played and Aiden just hung out. He had his suspicions about where his father and mother had disappeared to the way they were giggling when they went into the house as the kids left for trick or treating. He didn't want to be in that house especially since his bedroom was above his parents. Aiden may still be a teen but he has seven brothers and sisters and he is no fool about how they came to be. He'd tried to warn Selene but she'd rolled her eyes at him. "No kidding I know what they're up to," she whispered. "I wouldn't be surprised if we see number 9 in a few months." Then she pulled out her iPod with noise canceling headphones, shrugged at her brother's grin and went inside to go to bed.
Elias and Isaac, still too young to understand just had fun in the tree house. (And all of them oblivious to the fact that Elias was conceived in that tree house.)
Jacob and Penny didn't really notice when the kids got home.
But Aiden just ordered them a pizza and by the time they headed to bed their parents had fallen asleep.
I love Unique! She is so pretty! Whats with the lines in that stallion, though? And they came through on Unique too. I wanted to use her/him, but not if those lines are there. Great updates though
I have no idea what's going on with the lines. They didn't seem to be there before I added Diamond to my game. I didn't see them in CAS when I changed her to a him and made him an adult. Maybe it's just an issue with my game. We'll see what she looks like when she ages up. Maybe she'll shed the lines. All other grown foals have been uploaded and linked on my first page. I just added Boreal.
I have to say too that I was actually glad that Owen and Amelia moved in with Zack and Claire because I moved them out using kick out and didn't know there were no empty houses. So I was following them to see where they lived and they got out of the car, ran in different directions and then disappeared. And I couldn't fix it because it crashed the first three times I tried to move them out (maybe because there were no houses?) so I saved as soon as the car started to drive away. Then I couldn't find them in town by map tag so I went to edit town and realized there were no houses. I added a few but was afraid the game had moved them out of town. But the relationships were still there for the family. They must have been homeless. (Thank goodness overwatch didn't delete them!!) About a sim day later I got the notification that they moved in. I was so glad.
Oooh, fun updates. Unique is gorgeous. About the lines, I think it's just something with your game, the way it renders the horse textures. When you used one of my horses, she had lines in your game but not in mine. I'd have to go way back to find the screenshots to compare. It may be related to graphics settings, but I'm really unsure. I know when I used one of your horses they didn't have the lines in my game that they had in your screenshots.
Ooh, baby number 9, 10, or 11 might be on the way! Also, Unique is amazing, she might be my favorite so far. In my game even if I breed two in game horses, they sometimes get lines but it doesn't bother me much. Can't wait to see more babies or foals!
Wow I just realized I missed my one year anniversary of starting this Challenge last month! In fact now it's been a year a month and two days. Hard to believe that it has been so long. I recently went back to play my old 50 Foals Challenge file long enough to remove Dancer and upload him to the exchange. And to my surprise one of the mods I have now fixed the problem that caused me to quit it. Probably Overwatch, but might have been ErrorTrap. Who knew? But I am so glad that I started this challenge. I love this family and all the foals that Salsa Dancer had! So I surely have no regrets about starting over.
Wow, it's been longer than I thought. RL gets in the way of Sims! Plus I have been having a lot of trouble with crashing. It's a real pain in the rear. Especially when I have to play the same part 3 or 4 times. Birthday parties aren't much fun when you have to keep repeating them. I'm going to add an update now. I don't have nearly as much as I'd like, but it will do. :-)
I usually quit with the birthday parties after they age into children. It gets repetitive otherwise. Can't wait to read it!
Sorry for the delay! I was about 2/3 of the way through typing it up when my friend and her daughter came by asking me to go to the park. So I had to save what I typed. It should only take a short time to finish.
I had to do a party in this case because for some odd reason going to boarding school made it so that Selene was a day older than Aiden. Since they are twins it would be strange if they aged a day apart. So I needed to use a cake for him and as long as I was doing that I might as well have a cake for all of them.
Of course there was a birthday cake fire that killed several people. That was one of the crashes. I'm glad they didn't die though.
Penny wasn't too surprised when she started throwing up not too long after her Spooky Day celebration with Jacob.
None of the kids were surprised when they heard either. "What else is new, Mom?" Aiden said with a laugh. "I'd be more surprised if you weren't giving us another brother or sister," Selene said. "Teenagers!" Penny complained later to Jacob. "Well, you keep wanting more kids," Jacob said with a grin. "They're so sweet when they're babies and toddlers. When does the smart *** kick in?" Penny sighed. "Usually around puberty," Jacob said as he gave her a hug. "I suppose we should be glad none of them were trouble makers like you were as a kid." Jacob laughed at Penny's remark. "Hey, as I recall you were right there with me when I pulled all those pranks!" Penny laughed as well. "True, but I don't think I'd find it as funny as a parent." "Careful, or this next one will be born full of mischief," Jacob warned.
Soon it was time for a triple birthday celebration. Aiden and Selene would be reaching young adulthood and Elias was becoming a teenager. Kayleigh was getting close to her due date but she was happy to come to the party. Penny gave her daughter a hug when she arrived.
Then she couldn't resist feeling her tummy. Kayleigh and Caleb were just radiating happiness about their baby.
After everyone had arrived the three birthday kids stepped up by their cakes. They seem a little distracted though with people still coming in.

Selene went first since she was the oldest. She beat Aiden by five minutes.
She made a wish while everyone in the family cheered.
She cheered a little too. Reaching young adulthood was an important milestone!

Next it was Aiden's turn to blow out the candles. His girlfriend Felicity had come to the party and he gave her a grin before blowing out his candles.
Unfortunately several family members left the party right after Selene aged up, but before Aiden could. So it looks a lot emptier for his part of the party.

Then it was time for him to age up.
He inherited the baldness-upon-adulthood from Jacob. Meanwhile Elias snuck up and blew out his candles while Aiden was aging up. So he's already stepped down to age up himself.
Elias is excited about becoming a teenager. Jacob told him he could help train the next horse once he became a teen.

Isaac looks pretty amused as he looks up at his older brother. Jacob, though, is not as amused. He remembered what it was like when he reached young adulthood.
Everyone sat down for some cake. The blue haired young woman is Lakeisha, Alexandra's daughter and Jacob and Penny's first grandchild.

Selene had left her doll at home when she went to boarding school and when she returned her Imaginary Friend Keith was waiting for her with no ill will at all for being left behind. They had picked up their friendship where they left off. Now it was time for Keith to age up as well. Somehow Owen knows it and celebrates ... although he shouldn't be able to see him. Maybe the insanity makes him more in tune with things like that.
Selene was happy to see Keith age up. She had been concerned that he might not become an adult. All her siblings' Imaginary Friends and her mother had all been made real before young adulthood. Selene had been thinking more and more about asking her father to make the potion that would turn Keith real.
The next day was Felicity's birthday so Aiden invited her out on a date after her birthday party. His Imaginary Friend had stopped coming to life some time after he and Felicity had started going steady. He remembered her fondly but unlike most of his family he had felt it was time to move on. Aiden and Felicity had fun and even entered an eating contest.
At one point Aiden saw his father ride by on the way to a race with Boreal.

Boreal took fourth place, which was a little disappointing for Jacob. But afterward a man came up to Jacob. Although she hadn't won he had still been very impressed by the mare. He offered Jacob $5,183 for her. Jacob agreed. After he had finished the transaction he had been getting ready to call a cab when he caught site of a nice stallion. When he went over to inquire he discovered that he was a full blooded Quarter Horse. Before he knew it Jacob found himself riding home on the back of a new horse.

When Jacob got home Penny told him that Caleb had called from the hospital. Kayleigh had given birth to a boy and they named him Ken.
Penny was starting to get bigger. Selene had missed the birth of her youngest brother and she couldn't help asking her mother if she could feel the baby moving this time.
The next morning was time for graduation. As Penny was heading to the car she saw that Jasmine was getting to know the new stallion, Ricochet.
Selene graduated with Highest Honor.
Aiden did fairly well also.
Unfortunately graduation got out after dark and it was a full moon ...
Things devolved into a mess as people transformed into werewolves, other people passed out and zombies showed up ...
As they were heading to the car to escape the madness Penny suddenly went into labor. "Now Penny? Isn't there enough going on?" Jacob shouted as another zombie appeared. "I didn't exactly plan this!"
Elias was starving so he told his father he'd make sure Isaac got home while they went to the hospital.

Considering this was baby number nine it took no time at all between when they arrived ...
and when they were leaving with a new baby girl.
They took a limo home again.
Her name is Maya.
Great update! I find the chaotic scenes to be some of the most fun in my games. Real life family gatherings can be like that anyway. I also think the belly rub interaction is one of my favorite in the game, followed by the 'listening to the tummy' interaction. It kind of makes up for the very, very lame announce pregnancy response. A pat on the shoulder and a thumbs up, really?
I bet Maya will be cute, and I hope she will have Penny's looks:) I wonder if they have the wish to have ten?
Oddly enough neither of them have gotten the wish to have ten. At least not yet. In my Legacy Grace kept getting the wish to have 10 when she had only had 5. Go figure.

Penny was helping Isaac learn to walk while Owen and Amelia were packing up their things. It helped her not to feel sad about another of her children moving out on his own.
Amelia headed out first, with Owen saying good-bye to his mother and baby brother before he headed out as well.
Unfortunately the deal they had for a new house fell through so they moved in with Zack and Claire. Owen knew Zack and Claire had plenty of extra room because they had moved into a house with the same floor plan as Penny and Jacob's house. Zack and Claire do hope to have their own children but at the moment they don't need 4 bedrooms all to themselves.
Elias enjoys playing in the tree house.
It's so cute.
It seems that things are heating up between Aiden and Felicity because he got this letter in the mail from her. Oh my!
With her large family Penny has had lots of practice preparing meals. All of that hard work paid off when she reached the top of the cooking skill!
Penny followed a lead she had heard about and was able to purchase a gorgeous stallion for Jasmine's next foal.
She helped settle him down after he was unloaded from the trailer.

He's a friendly guy and sniffed Penny when she showed him the stable.
His name is Diamond Desteny.
The next morning Diamond got to know Boreal. As Jacob watched the new stallion he congratulated Penny on a fantastic find. They talked about what kind of foal they would get from the pairing.
Elias likes helping out with the horses and Jacob encourages him. Elias took a try at bottle feeding Boreal while Jasmine was getting to know Diamond.
Not long after the new stallion arrived Penny and Jacob got a call from Zack with some good news. He and Claire are expecting their first baby! They are thrilled to become grandparents again.

One day as Jacob was going about the normal everyday work of a horse breeding ranch he was interrupted by his cell phone. He was pleased to see the call was from Selene. But when he answered the phone he was surprised to hear how upset she was. She told him that she hated, loathed and despised her school and begged to be able to come home. Jacob was surprised at this sudden change since she had always been very positive when anyone in the family talked to her. He told her that of course she could come home if that was what she wanted. She thanked him profusely and told him she didn't need anyone to come pick her up. A little bewildered Jacob hung up and then went to go tell Penny that Selene would be coming home again. Penny was naturally concerned to hear their daughter had been so upset but she was thrilled that Selene would be coming home.
Selene did achieve what she had wanted, she now has As in school. She also picked up some skills. I was hoping she would lose the kleptomaniac trait, but no luck.
She's also become quite personable.

Penny was waiting when the cab dropped her off but resisted the urge to run out and meet her.
She did meet her at the door however. "Welcome home, sweetheart! I'm happy to see you but sorry to hear you were unhappy at school. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Mom, really. I just missed you guys. It's good to be home again." Selene snuggled her little brother Isaac. She hadn't met him yet although she'd been sent lots of pictures.
Selene was a little nervous about going back to public school again but her twin, Aiden, sat next to her on the bus her first day back and reassured her that everything would be fine.

Although Selene went through a rough time some things never change it seems. She still goes out on the deck to eat. Even at night. In the rain. Maybe it's the loves the outdoors trait.

Not long after Selene arrived home it was time for the prom. Aiden and Felicity would be going together but Selene didn't know anyone well enough to have a date so she was going alone.
Aiden was excited and dressed in his best and rented a limo.
Selene was joining him and his girlfriend in the limo, but as you can see from her expression she wasn't all that excited about it. Truthfully she didn't feel ready to date anyone and going alone to a prom so soon after returning to the school didn't seem like much fun. She didn't really know anyone and as great a brother as her twin was it was clear he would be wrapped up in his girlfriend all night.
As Selene expected Aiden and Felicity spent all night together. They both had a blast.

But Selene's night hadn't been a total bust. In a complete shock to her she ended up being voted as Prom Queen!
Their prom pictures turned out great.
The night of the prom Boreal aged up.
Unfortunately Jacob missed it because he was reading Isaac to sleep.

Jasmine missed it too because she was otherwise occupied ...
Jacob started training Boreal. They were out riding when suddenly overtaken by a thunderstorm.
Boreal was spooked but Jacob has the skills to calm her down so that she didn't throw him. He did have her head back home though.
He also worked with Diamond while waiting for confirmation from the vet that Jasmine was pregnant.
When he got back Penny let him know the vet had called and Jasmine was expecting another foal! Hearing the good news made Jacob think about his grandchild on the way. So while he was out training Boreal he decided to drop by and visit.
He chatted for a few minutes with Owen and Amelia. Owen joined the political career and so far he was doing well. (He may be insane, but hey, that doesn't mean he can't be a politician.

She told him that she was feeling great and that she and Zack are very excited about their new baby. Jacob got to feel the baby kicking. He let her know that if she needed anything he and Penny would be happy to help out. He told her how happy they were to be having another grandchild.

He headed home not long after since it was getting late. When he arrived home Penny greeted him overflowing with excitement. Kayleigh had called and she and Caleb were expecting their first baby!
"That's great!" Jacob exclaimed as he gave his wife a hug. "I was starting to think she was too caught up in her music career to ever have children." "Well," Penny said, losing a little of her enthusiasm. "She admitted that she and Caleb have actually been trying to have a baby for a while. I guess she didn't inherit our fertility because they had a lot of trouble conceiving. They had just given up and now she found out about this baby." "Oh," Jacob said. "I had no idea. That makes it even more wonderful! I'm so happy they finally got what they wanted so much."
Not long after the happy news it was time for Isaac to age up to child. Unfortunately it happened all by himself right after he had gotten off the potty. Not the most dignified place. He was excited anyway.
He looks just like Jacob did at that age but oh wow he has no sense of fashion! And what's with the pink boots? I wish he still had those adorable curls though. Why are there no hairstyles for men or boys with curly hair except the afros? I don't think an afro would work on Isaac.
The same night Jasmine gave birth to her second foal.
When Jacob and Penny saw the little filly they agreed the name Unique fit her perfectly.
She got quite a fascinating mix of her parents.

I think it looks like mom's coloring came in from behind and dad's coloring came in from the front and they collided in the middle with spots and white patches. Unique wants to know what you think.
With the foal born Penny took Diamond to be sold since his job was done. And he did a great job!

Spooky Day arrived and Kayleigh and Caleb threw a costume party. Yet again everyone, all six of them, got into the two seater sports car. This time two heads are poking out, and they're not even all in yet.
And voilà here they all are! It's like the clown car of sports cars. And is Jacob thinking about having another baby to squeeze into the car or is he thinking about his grandkids?

Selene and Elias both decided to be Tigers. Owen came as well and being insane he naturally didn't wear a costume.
Aiden went as a pirate and Isaac became an alien.
Kayleigh apparently decided to take toy form as her costume since she inherited the ability from Penny. But she was throwing up when they arrived.
Penny went inside to see how she was feeling and gave her some practical advice about dealing with morning sickness. Even if throwing up was no fun Kayleigh was very happy about the baby.
The house is really tiny so most everyone stood around talking outside. The sunset was beautiful though.
Jacob asked Caleb if they were planning on moving before the baby was born and if they needed any help. Caleb said they needed no help and they were looking for a new house. During the party they got the call from Zack that Claire had just given birth to a baby boy named Jaime.

It was an afternoon party so shortly after the sun went down they headed home. Jacob and Penny knew the kids wanted to go trick or treating. They agreed to stick together so the teenagers could keep an eye on the younger kids.
While the kids were out trick or treating Jacob and Penny had their own celebration.
The kids were disappointed to find that their neighbors were not home. Aiden thought it was totally lame to be out on the most important night of the year. Selene was tired so she went to bed but the boys stayed outside and played for a little while.
Well, the boys played and Aiden just hung out. He had his suspicions about where his father and mother had disappeared to the way they were giggling when they went into the house as the kids left for trick or treating. He didn't want to be in that house especially since his bedroom was above his parents. Aiden may still be a teen but he has seven brothers and sisters and he is no fool about how they came to be. He'd tried to warn Selene but she'd rolled her eyes at him. "No kidding I know what they're up to," she whispered. "I wouldn't be surprised if we see number 9 in a few months." Then she pulled out her iPod with noise canceling headphones, shrugged at her brother's grin and went inside to go to bed.
Elias and Isaac, still too young to understand just had fun in the tree house. (And all of them oblivious to the fact that Elias was conceived in that tree house.)
Jacob and Penny didn't really notice when the kids got home.
But Aiden just ordered them a pizza and by the time they headed to bed their parents had fallen asleep.

I had to do a party in this case because for some odd reason going to boarding school made it so that Selene was a day older than Aiden. Since they are twins it would be strange if they aged a day apart. So I needed to use a cake for him and as long as I was doing that I might as well have a cake for all of them.
Of course there was a birthday cake fire that killed several people. That was one of the crashes. I'm glad they didn't die though.

None of the kids were surprised when they heard either. "What else is new, Mom?" Aiden said with a laugh. "I'd be more surprised if you weren't giving us another brother or sister," Selene said. "Teenagers!" Penny complained later to Jacob. "Well, you keep wanting more kids," Jacob said with a grin. "They're so sweet when they're babies and toddlers. When does the smart *** kick in?" Penny sighed. "Usually around puberty," Jacob said as he gave her a hug. "I suppose we should be glad none of them were trouble makers like you were as a kid." Jacob laughed at Penny's remark. "Hey, as I recall you were right there with me when I pulled all those pranks!" Penny laughed as well. "True, but I don't think I'd find it as funny as a parent." "Careful, or this next one will be born full of mischief," Jacob warned.
Soon it was time for a triple birthday celebration. Aiden and Selene would be reaching young adulthood and Elias was becoming a teenager. Kayleigh was getting close to her due date but she was happy to come to the party. Penny gave her daughter a hug when she arrived.
Then she couldn't resist feeling her tummy. Kayleigh and Caleb were just radiating happiness about their baby.
After everyone had arrived the three birthday kids stepped up by their cakes. They seem a little distracted though with people still coming in.

Selene went first since she was the oldest. She beat Aiden by five minutes.
She made a wish while everyone in the family cheered.
She cheered a little too. Reaching young adulthood was an important milestone!

She looks pretty good as an adult. Aiden looks a little goofy blowing the horn.
Next it was Aiden's turn to blow out the candles. His girlfriend Felicity had come to the party and he gave her a grin before blowing out his candles.
Unfortunately several family members left the party right after Selene aged up, but before Aiden could. So it looks a lot emptier for his part of the party.

Then it was time for him to age up.
He inherited the baldness-upon-adulthood from Jacob. Meanwhile Elias snuck up and blew out his candles while Aiden was aging up. So he's already stepped down to age up himself.
Elias is excited about becoming a teenager. Jacob told him he could help train the next horse once he became a teen.

Isaac looks pretty amused as he looks up at his older brother. Jacob, though, is not as amused. He remembered what it was like when he reached young adulthood.
Everyone sat down for some cake. The blue haired young woman is Lakeisha, Alexandra's daughter and Jacob and Penny's first grandchild.

Selene had left her doll at home when she went to boarding school and when she returned her Imaginary Friend Keith was waiting for her with no ill will at all for being left behind. They had picked up their friendship where they left off. Now it was time for Keith to age up as well. Somehow Owen knows it and celebrates ... although he shouldn't be able to see him. Maybe the insanity makes him more in tune with things like that.
Selene was happy to see Keith age up. She had been concerned that he might not become an adult. All her siblings' Imaginary Friends and her mother had all been made real before young adulthood. Selene had been thinking more and more about asking her father to make the potion that would turn Keith real.
The next day was Felicity's birthday so Aiden invited her out on a date after her birthday party. His Imaginary Friend had stopped coming to life some time after he and Felicity had started going steady. He remembered her fondly but unlike most of his family he had felt it was time to move on. Aiden and Felicity had fun and even entered an eating contest.
At one point Aiden saw his father ride by on the way to a race with Boreal.

Boreal took fourth place, which was a little disappointing for Jacob. But afterward a man came up to Jacob. Although she hadn't won he had still been very impressed by the mare. He offered Jacob $5,183 for her. Jacob agreed. After he had finished the transaction he had been getting ready to call a cab when he caught site of a nice stallion. When he went over to inquire he discovered that he was a full blooded Quarter Horse. Before he knew it Jacob found himself riding home on the back of a new horse.

When Jacob got home Penny told him that Caleb had called from the hospital. Kayleigh had given birth to a boy and they named him Ken.
Penny was starting to get bigger. Selene had missed the birth of her youngest brother and she couldn't help asking her mother if she could feel the baby moving this time.
The next morning was time for graduation. As Penny was heading to the car she saw that Jasmine was getting to know the new stallion, Ricochet.
Selene graduated with Highest Honor.
Aiden did fairly well also.
Unfortunately graduation got out after dark and it was a full moon ...
Things devolved into a mess as people transformed into werewolves, other people passed out and zombies showed up ...
As they were heading to the car to escape the madness Penny suddenly went into labor. "Now Penny? Isn't there enough going on?" Jacob shouted as another zombie appeared. "I didn't exactly plan this!"
Elias was starving so he told his father he'd make sure Isaac got home while they went to the hospital.

Considering this was baby number nine it took no time at all between when they arrived ...
and when they were leaving with a new baby girl.
They took a limo home again.

Oddly enough neither of them have gotten the wish to have ten. At least not yet. In my Legacy Grace kept getting the wish to have 10 when she had only had 5. Go figure.
