Anastasia – For Love & Money

Anastasia is a Sim I created a long time ago. I started playing her, but the save was lost (also a long time ago). I decided to play the ‚Making Money‘ scenario with this Sim. Even if I don't succeed in completing the scenario, I'm just curious to see what happens.



But she will get a serious make-over first. He current outfits are too glamourous.




After all she is starting out with no money on a lot that’s basically empty. So she has no money for fancy clothes or to go to hairdresser‘s to get her hair dyed.



This seems a little more realistic for someone with no money and no job.


Day 1 – Moving Day (86 days till age up)



This is Anastasia with everything she owns: A trash can, a mailbox and a sales table.



Unfortunately Anastasia was already quite hungry when she arrived at her new home. It was already pretty late in the evening. She found a Bullseye frog and nothing else. She couldn’t eat it, but she could try to sell it. So she started a yard sale to sell this rare find.



And she was successful – her first §100!



She was able to grill some fruit before going to sleep, which left her with §86 for now.

Day 2 – Hijinks and a Festival (85 days till age up)

Anastasia went around the neighborhood to collect items for another yard sale. Currently this was all she could think of to make some money.



But she needed to freshen up before inviting anyone to her lot, so her next stop were the public bathrooms in the park. It was pretty gross, but when she left the restrooms she met Dorian Talla who showed her some beautiful pictures of his birth town, Sulani. A vacation home on a beautiful beach was something to look forward to.



But she had to get back to work, so she went back to her home lot to start another yard sale. Once again she was able to sell all the items and she was feeling pretty good about herself.



Until Naoki threw a drink in her face, totally unprovoked! Apparently he wasn't happy with his purchase.



Anastasia let him have it and thought about fighting him ...



... but then she received the notification that the Humor & Hijinks festival was in town. A solid opportunity to make some cash. So she left that loser behind and went to San Myshuno.



Anastasia joined the Jokesters and worked really hard to help her team. And whaddya know - The Jokesters won! Anastasia was tired and hungry, she grabbed a meal from one of the booths and basically sleep-walked home.



But she was happy because she could afford a bed!

Day 3 – To ditch one's Welcome Wagon (84 days till age up)

After waking up Anastasia was surprised by the Welcome Wagon! But she was super smelly and had to go to the bathroom, so she ditched her neighbors, but not without grabbing the fruit cake. Waste not, want not!



Since Anastasia had been working so hard, she thought she deserved an actual shower, so she snuck into the gym to use a real bathroom in what felt like forever. While she was there she met millionaire, adventurer and philanthropist Isaac Gershwin, she had read about in so many celebrity magazines. He lived in a big penthouse in San Myshuno with his adopted children – and was single! They had a lovely chat and she was amazed at what he had accomplished in life. It got her thinking about what to do next (besides having another yard sale).



When she got back home her cute neighbor David Jenkins was still there. He gave her an earful because she had just left him and the other neighbors standing in front of her non-existent door.



But she managed to turn the conversation around and found out he was a scientist at Future Labs. He was really sweet and outgoing.



Anastasia threw another yard sale with the items she found around the neighborhood. She now had §1604 in her pocket and felt great about it!



She was able to build a little shack for her bed and get a toilet and sink. And she had §424 left over. But it was time to get serious and pick a career. She always had so much fun entertaining the customers at her yard sale and had won that great microphone at the Humor & Hijinks festival so she decided to give acting a try.




Day 4 – Nothing to see here yet (83 days till age up)

Her first gig was a commercial for a pharmaceutical company.



Her first gig was a pharmaceutical commercial. Anastasia wanted the audition to go well and impress her agency, so she used the microphone she had won at the festival to work on her acting skill.

Day 5 – Out of the Blu (82 days till age up)

Anastasia knew that it was time to do something. Her first audition was coming up and she did not feel good about her look. To find the confidence she needed she went to Snap Attack, a photography studio in Magnolia Promenade. The booking assistant at her agency had recommended it because famous stylist Blu Baylee was known to work with the photographer who owned the studio on a regular basis. Blu was said to be one of the kindest people around and Anastasia was hoping that she would help her even though she couldn’t pay much.

And she was as right as she was lucky. Blu first seemed like she was going to decline the job, too little time and basically no budget ...



But Blu couldn't help herself and came through like she always did. She had some pieces left over from fashion shoots and put a few outfits together for Anastasia. Nothing special, she insisted, but enough to make Anastasia feel more confident for her 1st audition.
When Anastasia stepped into the changing room she felt for the first time that she was on the path to fame.



Blu started Anastasia off with light makeup, styled her hair into a fashionable long bob and applied a rich, chocolate brown tone for a bit more glamour.



When Anastasia stepped out of the room, she felt like one of the models that frequented the studio every day.



She had no words to express how grateful she was, so she just went over to Blu and hugged her with tears in her eyes. She had found her confidence and made a new friend.



Anastasia stuck around for a while after the make-over, not ready to go back to her little shack in the desert yet. Dreaming of movie premieres and red carpets ...



Needless to say, Anastasia passed her audition ...



... and went out to celebrate and show off her little black dress at the Solar Flare Lounge.

Day 6 – All over the place (81 days till age up)

It was the day before her first gig and Anastasia was over-prepared and felt like she was about to jump out of her skin. She decided to just go out and do the first thing that came to her mind. She went to visit her new friend Blu to let her know how well the audition went thanks to her.



Blu didn’t have much time because she was on her way to a 2-day shoot in Sulani, but she still sat down with Anastasia and told her a bit about what the set would be like. Anastasia loved the bohemian vibe at Blu’s place. It was so unpretentious and cozy that she felt right at home. Blu suggested that Anastasia visit downtown Del Sol Valley next. If she was going to be famous, she might as well warm up to her new peers.

She chose to go to the gym in Del Sol, but was more intimidated to talk to any of the real celebrities than she expected, so she actually worked out. She did meet Dante, who looked as handsome as a celebrity, but was actually in the business career. He told her to swing by the Narwhal Arms in Windenburg later, if she had time. It was the favourite hang-out spot of the All Nighters, he said. Anastasia didn’t know what that meant, but didn’t dare to ask because he acted like it was common knowledge.



When Anastasia made it to the Narwhal Arms, she couldn’t find Dante anywhere. She met a bunch of other cool people though. Blu’s boyfriend Rez was there and she met Babette Botha, It-Girl and model known for her fabulous lifestyle. And she got to talking to this really nice guy, Jamal, who turned out to be one of Dante’s roommates. He was so nice that Anastasia dared to ask him what Dante could have possibly meant when he talked about All Nighters. Don’t worry, Jamal said, Dante is just trying to make this a thing. Like we’re an exclusive club or something. Anastasia was getting hungry and Jamal recommended a food stall in San Myshuno for a late night snack. He offered to go with her, but Anastasia politely declined. She had been around people all day and just wanted to stuff her face without a cute guy observing her.



This was a good day, she thought to herself, while eating Merguez for the first time. She hadn’t had time to stress out about her gig the next morning all day.

Day 7 – Selling Drugs (80 days till age up)

The set was this incredibly busy place and everyone seemed to know what to do and where to be, except Anastasia. Blu had told her to look for her co-actor to get to know them before the shoot. It would help her feel less nervous and awkward during the taping. Daisuke was a nice guy and a real pro. He pointed her in the direction of the stylist so she could get into costume.



The make-up and wardrobe stylists both seemed bored and stressed out at the same time. Neither of them were really responding to her or were trying to complement her look. They just did everything by the book without any inspiration. What Anastasia would have given to have Blu around.



But the taping went well and Anastasia got a top evaluation from the director, who said he would request her by name for the next commercial.



Anastasia felt good about her first acting job and decided to go back to San Myshuno to celebrate. She got up on stage at Planet Honey Pop! ...



and met the incredibly cool fashion photographer Leila Jay, who was also good friends with Blu.



When she stepped out the Romance Festival was in full swing. She ran into Rez - Blu was still out of town - who was just diggin' the vibes and Jamal and things got a bit flirty.



Anastasia could feel it. She had entered this circle of beautiful, inspiring people, who were living their best lives and would find a familiar face wherever she went.

Day 8 – True Blu (79 days till age up)

Anastasia still couldn’t afford a proper kitchen, so she grabbed breakfast at the food stall in the neighborhood’s public garden.



When she returned home, Blu was waiting at her doorstep. She was back from the shoot and came by to bring her friend an exotic gift – a dragon fruit! Plant this fruit, she said, and your household will never go hungry and be blessed with good fortune. What a thoughtful present!



The friends spent the rest of the afternoon catching up and even though Anastasia had only met Blu a few days ago, she could not remember what life had been like without her. A lot less colorful, that she knew for sure.



Later in the evening Anastasia travelled to the library in Willow Creek. She didn’t have a laptop yet and it was time for her to create a social media profile to promote her projects. The library was so peaceful at this hour and she thought about grabbing a book to read in one of the cozy chairs, but suddenly she realized that she wasn’t alone …



… there were children playing chess in every corner of the library. She couldn’t believe she hadn’t noticed them before and couldn’t imagine why their parents would let them stay out this late at night, completely unsupervised. She was pretty creeped out and left as quickly as she could.

Day 9 – 12 – Good things come to those who wait … (75 days till age up)

The next few days went by in a blur. Anastasia auditioned for a few commercials and got the roles ...



She also got her first star as a celebrity and was finally offered to audition for her first actual role in a soap opera.



She spent her spare time in karaoke bars and night clubs …



Until she received an unexpected message.



She had run into Jamal quite a few times around town, but hadn’t realized he was interested in her like that! She had butterflies in her stomach while she typed her response.

On day 12 – it was Thanksgiving – she invited Jamal over. She was so happy to see him, she kissed him without thinking twice about it. And before she had the chance to invite him in, he asked her whether she wanted to be his girlfriend!



If she hadn’t been so focussed on Jamal, she would have noticed that the dragon fruit plant had begun to sprout that very morning ...

Day 13 – Firsts (74 days till age up)

It was early in the morning but Anastasia was in a great mood. She had bought a counter and was enjoying her first homemade meal, a BLT Sandwich. And she was excited about her first actual role. This was not a commercial, her name would be in the credits!



She didn’t care that the stylist messed up her make-up and hair the first time and had to start over (apparently she had some sci-fi flick on the brain).



She hit it off with the new director …



And she was as quirky …



…and charming …



…and funny as the role required and then some!



Her career was very important to her, but it was not the only reason she had been walking on air all day. She was meeting Jamal at Stargazers!



They were both being really awkward. The had been so passionate yesterday, it was difficult to just start talking casually it seemed.



But the first time they actually looked into each other’s eyes again, the weirdness was all gone.



Anastasia couldn’t get over how handsome he looked this evening. She had only ever seen him in his casual everyday wear, she had not expected him to look this good in a suit!



Their meals were served and they ate and chatted and flirted, just enjoying each other’s company.



Anastasia wanted to commemorate the evening with a picture.



And even with the city bustling beneath them, it felt like they were the only two people in the world for a moment.



And when the date ended, it seemed that they both had a hard time letting each other go.

Day 14 -16 – Just another pirate movie: The Search for Treasure* (71 days till age up)
* the word I originally used was unfortunately censored, even though it is also in the game

Anastasia was offered to audition for her first movie: Dead Sea Adventures. This was great news, but also meant she needed to work on her fitness. So she hit the gym first in the morning and ran into Isaac again, the handsome and generous millionaire.



And she was pretty sure she was not imagining that he looked at her …



… differently than he had before.



Before she let herself get to distracted, she got a call from Jamal to go out on a lunch date. The met at the Hare & Hedgehog in his neighborhood and had a lovely time. She almost completely forgot about that look Isaac had given her at the gym.



The next day she was going to her audition for 'Dead Sea Adventures‘ at noon. She wanted to look professional and sophisticated, so it was definitely time to invest in a new outfit. She went to La Place in Magnolia Promenade, hoping she had picked up enough from Blu to make the right choice on her own.



She grabbed a few pieces and went into the changing room.



When she emerged she had no doubt: This was it.



Of course she got the role, she had been well-prepared and confident at the audition. But that also meant that she had to go back to the gym. The role of the pirate queen required a certain fitness level otherwise there was no way she could master the sword fighting scenes.



It was tough, but she was tougher … she hoped.



Also, what was up with the guys at this gym? They were all really hot. Where were the regular blokes just trying to get into shape? It was very distracting.



Luckily Leila interrupted her. She hugged her hello and whispered "I have no idea what you’re doing, babe, but I’ve seen your gorgeous boyfriend around here somewhere, so you might want to give it a rest." Jamal, yes, her boyfriend. He was gorgeous, Leila was right. She went to find him right away.



And ran into Isaac first. „Hey, how are ya doing today? Becoming a regular I see.“ he smiled. "I’m great, doing great. Just looking for someone." Anastasia hurried away.



And there was Jamal. He was taking a break from his workout, chatting with another guy. It was Orange Bailey-Moon, Del Sol’s enfant terrible, famous for his famous parents and infamous for throwing Starlight Accolades afterparties, that always made the tabloids. Anastasia felt … flustered.



Was it Jamal or Orange making her feel that way? Was Orange just famous or also really, really hot? She couldn’t tell anymore, she had to leave.



She hugged Jamal really tight and headed right out the door. She could take a (cold) shower in the privacy of her own home.



She spent the rest of the day practicing the craft and letting out all her anxiety and frustration.



The next day was Monday, time to pay the bills. She was feeling rotten.



She thought she had probably hit the gym too hard the day before, but she was also really itchy all of the sudden. She was sick!



Without a computer around, she had to go back to La Place to pick up some medicine.



She downed the bottle right then and there and immidiately felt better.



She took a couple of hours to do some window shopping, looking at beautiful things she couldn’t afford (yet).



When she got back to Oasis Springs, she felt energized, so she decided to work on her fitness just a little bit before the taping that evening. She was going to avoid any confusion at the gym though and just took a quick jog around the neighborhood.



When she got home, Jamal was waiting there for her. He thought she would be nervous before filming her first movie and wanted to be there for her. How could she even think about any other guy, she thought to herself.



She had an amazing time on set that evening. From getting into costume …



...to getting into character. She was the pirate queen! She would have it all!

Day 17 – 20 Wild Flames (67 days till age up)

New gigs required the development of new skills. There were a lot of offers she had skipped in the past because she couldn’t play the guitar. That was over now, her agency let her know that she would be perfect for a new movie filming shortly – Wild Flames. Almost perfect that was, she needed to learn some basic guitar. Anastasia had heard good things about the Art Center in San Myshuno. The artists there were like a little community and loved sharing their gifts and talents. And it worked out beautifully, there was someone around to mentor her all afternoon.



She spent the rest of the day at the karaoke bar in the Spice District.



The next morning she went to the audition first thing and returned victorious. Her guitar skill was sufficient and they loved her for the part. When she returned home, Jamal was waiting for her. He went down on one knee and presented a ring. All he said was "My heart, my soul, my all." That was what the ring meant to him and Anastasia accepted without thinking twice about it.



The shooting of 'Wild Flames' went so well that Anastasia finally got her second star as a celebrity!



The next morning Blu showed up. She had already heard about Anastasia gaining fame and had good news for the Rising Star. "I found your look!" she exclaimed. Anastasia wasn’t sure what that meant, but it sure sounded exciting! "I mean, you look good, Sweetie. Great, actually. But I found YOUR look. It is somewhat inspired by the 40s. Listen, do you trust me?" Of course she did. Blu had a gown for the red carpet, and a whole new everyday outfit and hair styling equipment. "This is going to be epic!" And she wasn’t wrong.





Anastasia couldn't believe that it was really her in the mirror! This was going to open up all new opportunities, no doubt about it.



Rez came by to pick Blu up because they were on their way to San Myhuno. And they were still so adorable together after so many years that it made Anastasia even happier to be in a commited relationship.

Day 21 New Year’s Eve (66 days till age up)

New Year’s Eve was a good time to take stock of her life. Anastasia had a fully furnished home and some money in the bank. She was engaged to a wonderful man and her career was finally going somewhere. Those were the good, no, amazing things in her life. But she was a bit worried about taking the next step with Jamal. He was part of this party club/household. They lived to have fun and never had to worry about money, because they were living off of Donna Ferarri’s inheritance. Jamal would have to drastically change his lifestyle when he joined her household. Could he and did she really want him to? He had this way of always taking her mind of everything that was stressing her out, but maybe that was just because he had nothing else to worry about in his life?



Those were her thoughts on the way to her audition for the period piece Dignity & Decorum for a very dramatic part. Her makeover had come at just the right time and she passed the audition.



Jamal had invited her over to his place for New Year’s. The club was just casually hanging out, he said, but she suspected everyone wanted to get a good look at Jamal’s fiancée. She was a bit nervous as she walked up to the big, refurbished factory building.



She knocked. "Come right in!" someone yelled. When she walked in the living room, she could tell that the party had already started without her.



The first thing she did was walk right over to Jamal to kiss him. She had missed him so much. The girls were silently observing the situation.



Anastasia had already met everyone except Maya, who gave her a casual wave and a nice smile while all she got from Donna was the cold sholder. Anastasia knew what Jamal meant to the club, so she didn’t take it personally. She would let him decide when he was moving out to get married. If he wanted a long engagement, she would be fine with that.



When Maya grabbed a party horn, Anastasia picked one up too and they had a good laugh about it.



Then Jamal pulled her aside, she thought he wanted to talk, but he had something else on his mind.



"Sorry, but I just missed you so much and you look amazing. Styled by Blu?" he smiled.



"We should talk seriously about where we go from here, but let’s get this party over with first. But before we go back out there, here’s to us! This is our year!" And even though he really had said anything, Anastasia could tell that they were on the same page.



While Jamal had a talk with Donna in the other room about her attitude towards her, Anastasia had a drink with Dante and Maya.



And whatever Jamal said to her, totally worked. The rest of the evening was just carefree party time and Anastasia could totally see the appeal in that.



Dante was so drunk he was hitting on everybody so Anastasia felt like it was a good time to leave.



But before she could say her goodbyes, Jamal came over to her and gave her a rose. "This is not a rose" he said "it is a promise. We will have a talk about our future before it withers."

Day 22 - 23 New Year’s Yay! (64 days till age up)

Anastasia started the day off by working on her acting skill before heading to the studio to star in Dignity & Decorum.



She could already tell by the much better meals provided on set that she was entering a new stage in her career.



Everyone on set was extremely professional …



Except maybe Rooster Man, the unfortunate anti-hero, who was cleary at the wrong set.



And after the shoot she received a notification that she had been nominated for her most recent performance. It was Sunday, so the award ceremony was on the same. Good news travels fast! She barely had time to go home, take a shower and change into her gown.



She didn’t really expect to win an award, after all her recent performance had been so very recent.



But she did! What an incredible honor, her first award!



Cut to exterior …



Anastasia stayed until the end of the ceremony.



And when she got home, Jamal was waiting for her at the door. And since it was so late he slept over in her newly purchased double bed.



The next morning Anastasia took Jamal to La Place. She was hoping he would agree to a make-over. She loved his casual style, but felt like a few more fashionable pieces would suit him well.



Even though he was fine with his current look, he didn’t mind changing things up a bit.

"Let's keep it casual, just a bit more stylish. We’ll try this … and this … oh, and this hoodie with the jacket for everyday wear …"



Anastasia was very happy with the result ...



… and grateful that Jamal wasn’t upset or thought less of her for being a bit superficial.



They went back to her place …



… and spent the rest of the afternoon together.



Later that day Blu stopped by. "Hey sweetie, I have something to show you!"



"Look at this, what do you think? It’s really simple and private, but romantic, no?"



"My heart just jumped. I don’t know what to say. You’re simply the best!" - "It’s there when you guys are ready, you’ll know."

Day 24 – The Heart of Sulani (63 days till age up)

Jamal stopped by the next day and he was terribly upset. He had gotten into a fight with Donna about club business. "She is freaking out because I want to get on with my life. I have been living the life of an adulescent for the past years. And while it was fun, this isn’t what I want to keep doing until I’m too old to start a life with someone. With you!"



"Just move in with me. You’re here all the time anyway and when you’re not here I just miss you. Let’s do this!"



He knew she was right, it was time.



"There is something else we should take care of today."



Anastasia was very happy to hear that.



They got married at a private beach in Sulani while the sun was setting.

Day 25 – 33 – In Full Swing (54 days till age up)

Anastasia and Jamal were the ultimate power couple, their careers were on track and their lives in harmony. Jamal had started working in an office and was quickly moving up the ladder and Anastasia loved taking care of him in her spare time. She prepared meals before she went off to the studio …



… because that meant that had more time together in the evening to talk about their day and plans for the future.



When she wasn’t crushing it in front of the camera …



… she was mentoring other actors.



Anastasia hired a trainer for the gym to stay focussed and managed to avoid any distractions.



Jamal was working hard to progress in his career …



... and Anastasia got offered bigger and better parts.



On the weekends Anastasia would go out to get in touch with her fans and gain fame, and Jamal was by her side cheering her on.



Anastasia finally gained her 3rd star!



And even though they worked so hard and were so successful, they were careful with their money ...



… but still very happy.



One day after Anastasia came home from the filming of Tea & Treachery …



… Donna came by the house. Jamal was still at work, but she sat down and had a chat with her. It was obvious that Donna was trying to become friends even though it was still hard for her to accept that Jamal had left the household and the club. She even said nice things about their home, even though Anastasia knew that it was too humble to make an impression on Donna.



On the same day Anastasia hosted her first Meet & Greet …



Jamal gained his first meaningful promotion.



They thought about going out for a fancy dinner to celebrate, but made the choice to stay in instead and it had nothing to do with saving money.

Day 34 – 36 – Love is a Battlefield (51 days till age up)

Married life was one long honeymoon …



… and at work Anastasia was beloved and respected. Everything was going incredibly well for Anastasia and Jamal.



Anastasia accepted a new role to play the female lead in the action movie ‚Captain Sigma: Olympus Landing‘. This role could catapult her to female icon status, her agent raved. And Anastasia was excited. The script also had a romantic plotline and she would be rescuing a female scientist, whom her character was madly in love with, from an evil genius. But this also meant she had to hit the gym again, she only had a few days to get into shape.
No time for whatever this is supposed to be!



Luckily she had her trainer Evie to keep her on track …



… or at least on the treadmill.



On her way to the showers she ran into a conversation – or rather a speech – Knox was giving at the gym about how nature was suffering from the thoughtless actions of the throw-away culture. Everyone was sweaty from their work-outs but also deeply concerned!



After Knox stormed off to spread his message elsewhere, Emilio seemed eager to continue the conversation with Anastasia. She had seen him around the gym before and knew about his playboy reputation from his roommate Babette, so she shut him down as quickly and politely as she could.



When she got home, Jamal could see that she was still pretty stressed out about the fact that her fitness skill might not be sufficient for the new part she was otherwise really looking forward to, so he offered her a massage …



…and some distraction.



That night the couple went to the Romance Festival, where they’ve had their first flirtatious moment in what seemed so long ago now. The love guru had an odd message for the young lovers … „At least your flaws are perfectly matched …“ he said, looking very smug. What the heck was that supposed to mean?



To get her mind off of this unpleasant prophecy, Jamal suggested to renew their vows. They both quickly changed into formal clothing and had a wonderful second ceremony.



It was perfect.



The next morning, after Jamal had gone to work, Anastasia received a disturbing call. Apparently Leila had seen him be flirtatious at the Romance Festival with a girl named Poppy!



Anastasia didn’t know what to think. She knew her friend wouldn’t lie to her, but when did this even happen? While she was changing in to her gown before they renewed their vows? Or after when she was chatting with a few fans who had been present for the ceremony and were hoping to get some selfies with her? Both of these scenarios sounded terrible!



When Jamal got home that day, Anastasia asked him to sit down. "Do you know a girl named Poppy?"
Jamal looked puzzled and then started to reply "That’s actually a funny story …"



"I am not looking to be entertained. I heard something upsetting on the phone today and I just want you to be honest with me!" Jamal stopped smiling. "There's not much to tell. Poppy is a girl I know from way back. I saw her at the Romance Festival last night. She’s been married to Peter for years. We did reminisce about old times and I guess some of those memories were romantic, but that’s all it was! Who the heck called you about this?"



"Nevermind who called! Can you imagine how hurt and embarrassed I must be feeling right now? We renewed our vows yesterday and the whole memory of it is just so tainted for me. I can’t do this, I need to get out of here!"



Jamal didn’t know what to say, which didn’t matter anyway because Anastasia stormed out the door. She couldn’t think about this now, after all she had to prepare for her role in Captain Sigma tomorrow and she would not let her career suffer because her husband was an inconsiderate yerk!

She went to the gym in Willow Creek, where she was less likely to run into someone she knew and focussed on her training.



On her way out she ran into Dante, of all people, and he stopped her in her tracks. "What is this?" she asked. She wasn’t in the mood to be polite. "I’m glad I ran into you here. I spoke to Jamal. I’m sure your friend saw what they saw, but please think about what that even was. A flirty conversation? I am the last one to judge, but I have seen you at the gym and it’s not like you don’t notice the guys there. Have you ever thought about what Jamal might think of that?" Anastasia was getting impatient. "What? I don’t know. In any case, I am clearly not as obvious about it as he is. I just look, that doesn’t hurt anyone!"



Dante shrugged "Well, I noticed and I’m definitely not the only one. All I’m saying is, don’t punish Jamal for something you dislike about yourself. Just think about it."



Anastasia couldn’t help but remember the words the love guru had for them at the Romance Festival, which she had angrily dismissed. "At least your flaws are perfectly matched …" When she got home, Jamal was waiting for her on the couch. "Cooled off during your work-out?" He smiled at her "I can understand that the call might have been upsetting, but you know very well that I don’t care about anyone else but you. So what was this really about?"



"I shouldn’t have focussed on what others observed, but on what I know to be true. I’m sorry for storming out instead of talking it out with you. But I did get some good advice from very unlikely sources. We’re perfectly matched, aren’t we?"



There was no doubt about it.

Day 37 – 40 – Proper Celebrity (47 days till age up)

Jamal couldn’t help but smile on his way to work that morning. Anastasia was going to be the next big superhero. He watched all her movies, of course, and marvelled at her talent and charisma, but superhero movies were his absolute favourite and he couldn’t wait to hear about Anastasia’s day and actually watch the movie.



Anastasia truly felt powerful in her costume and was ready to report for superhero duty.



She loved every minute of it.



And working on her fitness had really improved her precision and choreography in fighting scenes.



Anastasia gave an incredible performance and she hoped to empower little girls everywhere.



And when Jamal got home that evening he wanted to know everything that had happened on set that day and how she felt about each and every scene.



The movie was a huge success and Anastasia got her 4th star due to her performance. And she could feel a change when she was in public. She drew much bigger crowds of adoring fans.



And even though she appreciated all the attention, there was only one fan whose adoration meant everything to her.

Day 41 – 45 – For Love & Money (42 days till age up)

During breakfast one morning, Jamal was already off to work, Anastasia thought about what she had been through since she had arrived in Oasis Springs. She was still young, of course, but she’d had an incredible journey so far with amazing people by her side.



So she made the decision to start writing all of it down. She made it a work of Fiction – after all, authoring an auto-biography at her age would seem quite pretentious – but the growth, the emotions, the struggle, it was all hers.



After the recent complications in their relationship, the couple made an even bigger effort to celebrate special days ...



… and show each other how much they cared.



And even a dish of poor quality …



… couldn’t stop them from enjoying their time together.



Anastasia was laser focussed on her work …



… and didn’t even notice hot guys at the gym anymore …



… no matter how hard they tried to get her attention.



And after Anastasia published her book …



… she gained her 5th star as a celebrity and became world-famous!



The inscription was perhaps a bit ambigious, but everyone who knew her couldn’t help but smile when passing by.



And Anastasia and Jamal took good care of each other while working hard to reach their ultimate goal.

Day 46 – That’s all folks (41 days till age up)

And then this happened:



It was lottery day on day 45 and I had Anastasia buy a ticket for a quick inspirational boost and she became my 2nd Sim ever to win the lottery. I was going to exit without saving, but reconsidered. Clearly, story-telling is not one of my strengths – although I had fun giving it a try - and therefore I am going to let this thread get lost in the depths of the forums with some closure. I will play the scenario again, but the story will be told in my head only.

Anastasia and Jamal will keep on living their lives though with this ridiculous amount of money. They moved to a beautiful estate in Del Sol Valley (which I downloaded from the gallery) and are currently expecting their first child.



And they lived happily ever after …
