Some "cliche" faeries I made a while ago in a couple of dollmakers.
I might upload some actual malevolent faeries at some point, since it's been mentioned a lot.
Meet Moira. A faery from a more tribal and fundamental clan who was chained and burnt for the unforgivable crime of courting a human. She was alive, but left insane and in rags, her wings were burnt until they were the color of soot and ash. She still bears the chains of the traumatizing day, and she swore revenge on life itself. For her, life equated to suffering.
Moira now has a hatred for all living things, ending things in violence and death in her wake. She has become the faery of flame and destruction, using the very eternal flame she was burnt with.

Anyway, while something THAT dark shouldn't be in the Sims imo outside of our own role playing (and possibly mods for PC users), dark faeries that give us the ability to give them dark pasts and vile intentions could be inspired from stuff like this, just "watered down" a bit, as, well, it's Sims. lol
(Though if I had my way, I'd allow at least a description like that, not necessarily show it. It is rated T, not E.)
I am loving all of this "concept" art of both the light & dark fae.
And I still need to make my own for a sample.
@AzukiMochi I can totally see the mystical foresty type of world working for this pack. I'd still love another Realm of Magic type world where you have the "normal" world and then the more faery like realm. But I'd also be okay with just the latter.

That Fairy realm better be residential, I still don't understand why Alien sims can't live on their home planet.
I have a new idea for two districts of a residential world. One traditional "Sylvan Glade"-esque district for more benevolent faeries and cute and friendly Brian Froud styled beings, like brownies; and a swampy deadlands district for the more malevolent and maybe some scary Brian Froud styled looking beings or goblins. That way we can appeal to both light and dark faery fans.
What if we had a secret character somewhere deep in the forest? Like a faery goddess? Something that looks like a dryad or spriggan from Skyrim. She could bestow certain blessings to sims (especially the forest people (brownies, faeries, regular dryads, etc), her "chosen people"), and perhaps she and she alone can turn normal sims into faeries if they desired?
She would be somewhere deep in the forest just barely outside the two regions.
Right now, a fairies pack would be right up my alley. I'm ready for fairies, unicorns, better mermaids, and other whimsical creatures.
I think my newest sim would suit a fairy/fantasy world.
Like SJM? Like Kpop? Like Greek Mythology?

Pbb, I’m starting to lose hope and morale if I’m being honest. EA’s notorious for not listening no matter how much one tries. Might just let this one get buried under the other threads so we don’t unnecessarily stress ourselves over a brick wall. Lol
If someone else wants to continue this thread, be my guest. But I’m done with it. I can’t be bothered with trying to get through EAs impenetrable skull which is downright incompetence and money anymore.
It's too bad the devs can't just buy out EA so they can be allowed to give us players what we want in the game.
I know... there is obviously a lot of desire for fairies as shown by the traffic on this thread. I just wish our calls could be heard.
i'm sure they will eventually add them, but it may be taking more time for them to develop for all the coding they need.
and yes it would be wonderful if Maxis could be on their own, the Sims would be 10 times more amazing.
