Party invites again?

My sim got invited to the bluffs for a party for the first time in months! Have they added this feature back?

It is quite possible there was a glitch with the invites. I never get the circus ones anymore. I wonder if they have been tinkering with the invite system.

Does anyone know if a patch is responsible? Was/is it a glitch?

Personally I got a dinner date invitation after flirting on the previous day. Love those!

I got a party invitation but I had to decline! It was a holiday and I was busy. But it was exciting!

The patch notes said festival invites were back. I'm actually really happy about it. My sims were starting to feel like social outcasts.
