I'd kind of like an african-inspired pack but with a few occult elements you know like voodoo, shamanism, etc. I'm not saying that is necessarily typically African but I'd love an African setting, furniture, drums, and if they could spice that up with more occult stuff, I'd be really excited.

Several times in the past, I have suggested an African EP that would include a hotel package. My idea is that your sim could vacation to Africa and stay in a hotel similar to the Kenyan Hotel where you can breakfast with giraffes.
There was to be a photography safari where your sim hikes through the bush (think hiking in Selvadora and Mt. Komorebi) and, at photography spots, uses the camera zoom lens to locate and photograph an animal in it's natural habitat. Each stop would have a different animal and they would change with every different hike. After several trips, your new wild animal photo collection would be complete.
There would also be interacting with the locales and learning about their ideas, stories, traditions and learning dances. And trying new foods that you wouldn't otherwise. Maybe you bring home that parrot that you became friends with while there.
I would like to see an anime-style world, with different types of clothing for men such as male clothing similar to what Roy and Marth wore in Super Smash Brothers Melee with the plated armour, capes and boots and Link from "Legend Of Zelda" with the different tunics, tights and hats. And the female clothing can be like Samus Aran's blue tight outfit and the different dresses that Princess Zelda wore from Legend Of Zelda". And females can dress like the "Tales Of Symphonia" characters Presea Combatir, Raine Sage, and Colette Brunel as well as be able to dress up like Sheena Fujibayashi from "Tales Of Symphonia". And females can have the option to be able to dress up as Muffy and Celia from "Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life".
After the mess with Snowy Escape the next journey needs to generic. Trying do culture stuff these days is bound to upset some folks so keep it neutral.

Well, anime may not be neutral, but lots of people like anime so WHY not have an anime-style world? An anime related world would be different, but it's not real, so I don't understand the problem of having an anime style world. I know my idea hasn't been supported yet, but I hope it appeals to people.

Anime is definitely not something that would appeal to me, but then neither did Star Wars (so that pack was skipped by me) *shrug*
I just try and go with the flow and hope that "something" in the pack I would find useful even if I never used it for it's intended purpose. Like with SE, I'm not big into Asian decor, architectural, clothing, etc ... I will use the pack as a get away vacation to do winter activities but never live in that world. (Although I do like the plain normal windows that came with that pack).
I'd like Monaco or Italy. I could also play with Las Vegas but would pick Monaco if I had to choose. It's a good suggestion to combine royalty with gambling and "lifestyles of the rich". I'd like more ways for the wealthy sims to make or lose their money.
I'd like this EP. Get Rich (or die trying) If they can't add drivable cars to all the neighborhoods, would be nice if they eventually add them in a Monaco inspired neighborhood and include car races.
It would be great to have the Monaco Grand Prix in the sims. We probably couldn't drive in the race, but your sim could be the rich sponsor of a car that you can paint and decorate. It could come with a mechanic skill and your sim could upgrade and keep the car in top notch condition (similar to keeping the firetruck ready in S3) for the race. Then, at race time, your sim watches from the veranda (similar to the horse races in the big event barn in S3) of a casino and how well it does is dependent on how high your mechanical skill is and the condition of your race car.
I think anything that has gambling in it might be a bit of a bad idea for EA/Maxis to bring to the game at the moment. Don't you?
Not at all. Why is now any different than any other time? If Maxis/EA did something stupid, then they should pay the price but that's no reason to take our fun away.
Considering that it was originally to be aimed at 13 year old girls it might be considered a bit too adult for them. I don't really care one way or the other but some parents might object to it. Would it have to get a new rating?
If parents are okay with woohoo in odd places and cross dressing and killing sims in fun ways, I see no problem with gambling, especially the way they've done it in past versions.
Actually found the 12 PEGI rating allows casinos
PEGI 12
At a PEGI 12 level more graphic and realistic looking violence towards fantasy characters is allowed. Any violence towards human characters must look unrealistic unless it consists of only minor or trivial injury such as a slap.
Sexual posturing of the type often seen in music videos is also allowed at this level as is sexual innuendo.
Some bad language is allowed but it can be no more than mild swearing.
PEGI 12 is the minimum rating a game which teaches or encourages gambling can receive, though the descriptor also appears on PEGI 16 and PEGI 18 games.
A game at this level may feature horror content such as strong threat and dread or graphic injury details.

It must definitely have Cerberus guarding it
