Today I experienced the weirdest glitch.
Four of my family's young adults moved out of the family home and into another house.
I gave each one an adopted baby, since none were married.
I went into the house today to check on the family. There were 2 children and 2 teens (they had grown).
Anyway, i heard a baby crying. I knew this was wrong because there were already 8 people in the house.
But there was a baby in a crib! Her name was the same as one of the children.
I clicked on the crib because the baby needed a diaper change, but got no options.
I began to reset the child but before I was done the baby disappeared.
Either this was a glitch, or Oliver and Elsa really need to work on their communication
I found out the hard way. It's no glitch. Teen, even while enrolled in University can still attend the Proms. They can't make a Promposal poster, or even ask, but this got my Sim, Erik Cantrell, into loads of trouble with his fiancée. Yes, they both graduated early, while engaged, but all four parents put their collective feet down on having the wedding prior to Uni. Erik ignored the first Prom, and Kayleigh was furious. So, rather than make that mistake again, he bought her a new gown (like I said there is no interaction for them to do an invitation) and took her to the Prom the following Saturday. Kayleigh was angry all over again. Turns out, she wanted to be asked to go, although conceded the gift of a gown as an invitation of sort. Still, it was brought up to their parish priest, who was giving them their pre-martial counseling. It's no glitch, but it sure can cause drama in one's game. Have fun with it.
@minov39 I was under the impression EA has already fixed this. Can you roll back a save or two to find a time when she wasn't broken out? Or, can you take her into cas.fulleditmode and fix her skin there? I'm at a loss, really, I've never had to suffer this beyond RL, that is.
This has got to be a glitch, I turned off acne a long while ago. She's a young adult. Any suggestions to get rid of it?
Try opening your save, turning the option on again, save, turn it off again, save. Quit game, reload. Play around with turning it on and off and see if you can’t get the game to fix itself.
Failing that you could cheat sim age down to teen, treat the acne and age up again, not ideal obviously but no reason it won’t work.
You could cheat them down to toddler or something and that should fix it on aging back up again, but not sure what that would do to your skills, wouldn’t recommend. Teen shouldn’t hurt though.
First up, my latest game save of Erik Cantrell, as he was placing his Tile. Clipping much.
When Fame Hurts:
Next, a true oddity, that troubling moment when you realize you have cc that's gone awry:
He just proposed and she was still several Sim feet away from him. She shot across the distance (she was supposed to be jumping into his arms) I've heard it said, love hurts, but my oh my, that looks painful!
I think both of those sims need immediate medical attention. I just took this one like an hour ago. As you can see, Darrel Charm has no regard for anyone else's well-being....
Can't share photos but the oddities are so frequent in my game they are normal. Walking through doors is routine, as is mutual impalement by body parts. Current fave is a sim, in as EA issued outfit, standing on back stairs of house and reaching for the frog log a bit beyond. Had just clicked on log to 'check for frogs'. Once frog gotten, sim then ran out to the now empty log.
May I admit that I kinda love clipping errors? Many a sims couple I wouldn't have considered otherwise were match-made by clipping.
Hugo and Emma are a couple and currently in the detective career.
On patrol Hugo got attacked by the sim in the vest, who had a problem with the Villareal family. (Well, ingame it was random, of course, but the sim the game chose to attack Hugo was very fitting.)
Thorne Bailey was so kind to hold the attacker for me while Hugo was writing the station call:
Meanwhile Emma was putting away trash a litterer had left, when in her back one of my sims started brawling with a townie. Look how nonchalantly she reached behind her back without looking! "No, you're not going anywhere. BRB with your receipt."
Emma hadn't fully finished writing, when another litterer kicked over a trash can. She turned around, showing him the half finished document, yelling:
"See that citation I'm writing for Isimud here? Just you wait, you'll get one just like it!!!"
Emma is a scarily efficient officer, by the way. She has a bachelor in Criminal Sciences (ingame I used the Villain major) and I plan to send her to law school, to become an attorney, but maybe I should keep her in the streets for a couple of sim years first.

@GalacticGal I think what happened there is that the "Skipping Prom" sentiment was from the previous prom, a week ago, and it never cleared out.

The best workaround so far seems to be aging down to teen, treating the acne, then aging back up to young adult.
