My phase and subsequent spamming of this thread still persists. Want your droid to follow you in the regular sims world, too? Just shift-click and "activate follow protocol" will appear as an option. I tried it in Newscrest and Forgotten Grotto.
I do have AllCheats, though, so can someone playing vanilla confirm this works?

@EnkiSchmidt Yes, it worked for me! I have a few mods installed, just MCCommand and a few little tweak mods, but not AllCheats, so I would think this works for anyone. Thanks for sharing, this is awesome!
This is great, thanks for testing! I always wanted this to be an option. I cheat a lot, but I never keep cheats on in live mode. Man I can't believe this was always a thing.🤦🏻♂️

It's one of the factors why, for me at least, The Sims has such longevity. On the story tier I can have heroic adventures, but also play out the downtime. And on the gameplay tier other games have hitpoints, magic points and maybe food items to restore those, but the full needs system of the sims is unique.

Medieval custom dishes go well with the Star Wars setting.

Hux was reading in the couryard, but when the duel started, he walked out and sat down with the book, as if reading the other two the instructions from a textbook. It's not really Batuu gameplay, but RoM, but I include it here because it has the Star Wars characters.

I'm so insanely proud to present to you: RISE OF THE SECOND ORDER
For plot continuity purposes I replaced Kylo Ren, Lt. Agnon, Vi Moradi and Rey with my own sims.
Daniel O'Malley and C64-3PO. Daniel completed the scoundrel questline, but was also involved with politics and ended up quite close to Kylo.
In the background former stormtrooper Lt. Tina CH-100. She completed the First Order questline (making her sergeant) and while I played other sims, she will have attended officer school at Foxbury. Would she drop her number now, go by just Lt. Tina or adopt a surname?
On the Resistance side we have Lt. Gavin Dree, who completed the Resistance questline, and Connor Sonderan, who did the lightsaber challenge but otherwise focused on riding tournaments. Unfortunately I couldn't give him his purple lightsaber, so I need to come up with an explanation why it's imperative that he temporarily uses the Skywalker heirloom lightsaber over his bonded crystal.
The original Daniel, Tina, Gavin and Connor were not changed and are still playable sims in my games. Likewise I have a a played version of Kylo, Rey, Vi and Agnon now.
All of this was done with MCCCs "Complete sex change", "import tray sim" and "Edit in CAS" functions (and I think I posted a similar model swap before in this thread).
I know this is past the migration date, but I still want to share that I played my first lightsaber tournament. I sorted my sims into two leagues, force sensitives (spellcasters) and non-force sensitives (regular sims), to prevent a mundane with high fitness skill to beat Kylo Ren.
Here's the arena. I make believe my landspeeder produce sponsors the tournament, so naturally he'll want his products in view of the primary camera. Visit Black Spire - courting the First Order, the organized crime and rampant consumerism since the fall of the Empire!
Something adorable happened in the finale of the non-force sensitives. Finalists were Rise Tico and Armitage Hux, a couple in this save (Rose insisted on this). Rose won, but the moment she disarmed her opponent, her own lightsaber also went out, causing the match to end in a draw. And so the couple won the tournament together - quite the sweet story!
In game the missing yellow blade was a glitch, in-univers I'm pretty sure Rose short-circuited her saber to achieve this.
The overall results were about as expected (high fitness and good mood beat low fitness), except for the once occasion of a zero fitness sim, who was terrified the whole time, beating an eight fitness sim (Finn, no less!). Since the next round had an odd number of sims I gave Finn a second chance and ironically he got paired with his first opponent again. This time he won, though.
A tense situation was Ben Solo/Kylo Ren beating Rey Palpatine - they were the only maximum fitness sims in the tournament and it seemed that after having taken the only real opponent out, Kylo would sleepwalk into the finale and to the cup. After everything he (and the First Order) had done to Batuu, that would have left a bad aftertaste.
Fortunately my OC Gavin beat Kylo. Although when I made them introduce each other, Gavin took "beat Kylo" rather literally:
The toddler is Gavin's son and his mother put him on the ground right next to the brawl:
"Here, Jin, watch your daddy beat up the evil dark sider!"
The sinister Knights of Ren (L. Faba, Morgyn Ember and Simeon Silversweater) all participated, but got defeated early. The idea of dark side disciples signing up for a tournament may sound silly, but I imagine they were in Black Spire to talent scout. After all, the contest would have attracted force talents from all over the sector.
And finally Savi won the tournament. It's quite fitting, after all, he constructed almost all lightsabers used in the tournament.
And with that our sports news are finished, thank you for tuning in!
