Anyone else find that the sim doing the missions doesnβt have to sleep and very rarely has to attend to any other needs? I always take two sims, one to do the missions and one to provide distractions, and the latter still has normal needs like sleeping and eating but the former didnβt sleep at all in two days, and only had to eat once!

Two reasons I can think of:
- The mission sim may have the Batuu aspiration. It gives him a bonus trait that refreshes his motives upon travelling.
- The mission sim may drink Batuu brew a lot. It gives a nice energy boost (also in the main world, if the recipe was learned, it's a staple for my college sims).
I must say Batuu pictures always get me hooked. I don't own the pack as it would hardly match my style, but there is something with the aesthetics that pulls me right into that Batuu universe. Perhaps in the future, in a different universe, I'll get there, too!
@Simmerville I think you will probably enjoy it! I wasn't sure myself how it would work. I played many Star Wars games with my grandchildren and enjoyed the early movies (have only seen the first 3) so I did decide to buy it. And I am glad I did! The B/B items can be used to build an alien town and Batuu used as a place to go back too for adventuring, or use it like in Disney World as a vacation spot for my Sims and it's a fun place to take your kids to enjoy it. I really enjoy the quests but have so much more to explore with it!
I think the build/buy objects alone are worth the pack.

So maybe I need to reconsider. (Even so, there are packs that are higher up on my list so it would have to wait a while.) And maybe I need to read this entire thread (rather than just the most recent posts) to get a better picture.

I used objects from the Batuu pack as time turners in DEATH's Domain. They glow and it's so amazing ingame.
Or to built a bus that drives to the otherworld

Or a spaceship
Or a drive in at the outpost...

I have skipped packs like vampires, paranormal, and werewolves as I don't want them in my game and I haven't ever watched the star wars movies, but strangerville is one of my fave packs and I loved visiting galaxy's edge in Disneyland and I'd love to make it feel like my sims were in a Disney trip hahaha π€£

This build looks really amazing. I think I prefer this layout with a western style bar over the cantina in the pack.
My sim recently revisited the batuu restaurant in my game. I really like the batuu dishes for my spellcasters, werewolves and aliens (yes, I am stretching the star wars theme to suit other occults ) I just like some fantasy food for my fantasy people. My sim was living off garden salads with the simple lot challenge with only lettuce and tomato as ingredients. Now she can also make the felucian garden spread without a stove and it actually requires different ingredients. I also enjoy seeing sims from my previous stories pop by the restaurant like the couple here at the bar.
Obviously all staff are aliens (for once it is convenient that the alien assets are hat, so they can be assigned to staff.
She browsed all trash piles , in hope something to sell
She is only allowed to cook Batuu dishes, she needs to buy all first to get the receipe.

It's very easy to build a complete scenario for a story with the shells from the buydebug.
This whole lot can be set up in a few minutes, amazing π€
As far as i can see and remember, I only used objects from the Batuu pack.
And many of the objects are illuminated. It's so awesome π
The nature-part in Chestnut Ridge would be so nice for a homelot for a Batuu save. Right in the middle of a long story save but I just want to play a loner sim living an off-the-grid life on the tiny lot crafting stuff to sell off world and traveling to Batuu. Would build a bazaar on one of the 50x50 lots in Oasis Springs.
Too little gaming time and so many stories to try. Always great to see a Batuu-pic.

Another highlight in the Batuu pack are the ceiling lamps.
I use them in almost every build because they are so beautiful.
