I just press the print screen button on my keyboard, then paste and save it using Microsoft paint. There's probably an easier way lol but that's how I've always done it.
I should be able to get an update out tomorrow or Sunday as I have enough pics for one, but still no birthdays . Hopefully I'll play through enough over the weekend to get to Leo's birthday and post that update as soon as I can .

I'm think for the next generation, I'll pre-roll everything but maybe skip the teen one and just get the two extra traits plus the aspiration and career from the YA roll. That will save me from sorting out which aspiration and hobby they should do.
There are 12 eggs to find and it's always very easy. If each family member searches in around 5 or 6 places in the house or outside, they're likely to get all 12. I've just got to find a better place to put them than on the floor!
Did Melrose get anything for marrying Gabriel? Aww, the twins are so cute but I don't know how you're going to pick an heir based on looks! And to have them both wild... fun times ahead! It's always the way that if you don't have room, the game will give you reason to regret that .

@JordanNicoleJJ - no, I'm not sure that I wanted Malcolm being friends with Leo but every other time he's tried to make an adult friend, they leave before actually reaching being friends . Thank you for the lovely comment about Ivy's room - I tried not to make it too green, with the orange accents, and it turned out well for me . Turning the room into a teenage one might be a little more difficult!!
Congrats to Thad and Piper both on their hard work and on making things more 'official'. And, of course, the incoming nooboo!! I hope there's room for two kids in the house just in case it's twins . I like the costumes - I assume that dressing up and trick-or-treating comes with the City Living EP? I know a lot of Star Wars trivia but the fact that Boba Fett even had a girlfriend totally escaped me .
@Wentcrazy - Thank you! I rarely send my sims out of the house either but with Leo having the social aspiration, and no family members to complete it with, they had to actually leave the house . I usually mainly do it on weekends though, unless it's something like Love Day.
@Francisca464 - thank you! I'm slowly getting better at decorating bedrooms . I thought I'd keep the twinning thing going while they were children but when they're teens (only six game days to go), I'll probably do them quite differently. Ivy caught a treefish, I think - in game, it actually looks like a log with eyes! I couldn't believe Lia's lack of reaction regarding the fire; it was like "la, la, la, just roasting my marshmallow, la, la, I can't hear anything, la, la, OH MY GOODNESS MY KIDS ARE ON FIRE!" :rofl:. Just as well Heath was there! I made Egg Hunt a holiday in my save, putting it at the end of spring so that the kids could enjoy it. Leo and Christina would be good together but she's about a week older than him, just aged up to teen, so by the time he's a YA, she could be married off to someone. But there are a fair number of kids their age, and once they turn into teens, I'm putting the ones from the gene pool into the game to see if any of them actually get together .
Is that splash park part of a pack, downloaded from the gallery, or created by yourself? It looks really nice! Clover had aged up nicely; she's so cute! She's going to end up a lazy evil genius? I can just imagine it - getting prepared to take over the world and she's like, "nah, I can't be bothered today, I'll do it tomorrow" ! Who are you leaning towards for heir at the moment? Both sound like they could be interesting to play.
@OJenn - I like how all three kids turned out but I think I like Olive's looks the most; she actually reminds me of someone I used to teach! I've managed to get through 3 days of sim-work at the clinic, so only Thursday and Friday to go before I can age Leo up. Both he and Ivy have two character traits in range - Manners and Responsibility - while Lyric only has Manners. For some reason, she just can't seem to get Responsibility up high. Lychee is so cute, and I think she will make a great heir. I haven't played as an angler yet so I'll be interested to see how she goes with it.

Winter finally aged into an adult (thanks to some cheating). She got her coat from her mother but her facial features and eye colour from her father.
Leo still enjoys playing with the dollhouse with Heath - not his sisters!
Malcolm is back at the clinic again. He seems to visit every single day!
Fawn actually got to attend to a client and did a good job, even if it took twice as long as Lia and Heath. She is also learning how to talk to the customers.
Project night again, and Christina came home with Ivy rather than Leo. He seems to be asking his sister why that's the case .
And for the first and only time so far this generation, the monster under the bed made an appearance, and poor Ivy was the victim. Usually the kids get woken up by the cats, so this was a change. Luckily, Heath was able to come and deal with it.
The next day, Aniyah came over and became the last friend Leo needed for his aspiration! She was angry to start with but Leo soon talked her into happiness .
The cats continue to provide entertainment... or be nuisances!

While Lia was greeting Malcolm at the clinic, Fawn went and took his dog for a check-up. She did this three times!!! At least she was working but really... how rude .
Time at the clinic ran over one day, so the kids did their homework there. Their parents took a bit of time out to help them.
The rest was done at home while Lia continued to knit.
And Leo finished off the creative aspiration as well, which makes three! Now he can just do what he likes because there's no time to complete the fourth one.
So he invited Caleb around for some socialisation.

Quick question, how do you get bigger photos of your sims to put on the walls? The ‘take photo with’ option only gives me small pics. Also, how do you frame them?
I also got myself a bundle of Snowy Escape, Realm of Magic, and Nifty Knitting. I have two more bundles planned (Get Together, Spa Day, Movie Night/City Living, Dine Out, Backyard Stuff), and then there’s an extra stuff pack (the bowling one) at the moment that will have to wait until a new EP and GP come out 🤣. There’s way more stuff packs than any others, and some of them I don’t want, so I’m not worrying about any others like Tiny Living yet. I’m definitely not getting the Vampire or Paranormal packs, and probably not Eco Living, although I may change my mind on that one!
Edit: for those who have Tiny Living, is it worth getting? I have a couple of small houses coming up in the next generations and want to know whether it would be worth investing in that pack. I’ve downloaded some bunk beds (which I’m hoping didn’t contribute to the slight weirdness of my game this afternoon that cut my playing short) but what is in that pack that would be good?
Hi guys I'm still here! Just wanted to let you know that my winter exam session is finally over and that I'll soon be back reading and replying and posting and overall enjoying this challenge with you!
In my last update, Piper found out she was pregnant, and she and Thad were super excited about it! Not so excited was Miss Kitty, the fur-baby of the family. She started yowling for attention and waking Piper up unnecessarily early every morning...Piper got tired of it real quick
I wonder if Thad would hate me forever if that cat just happened to...fall...off the balcony........
Needless to say, it really just started the day off wrong.
Thad only made things worse by literally gagging at the pancakes she so lovingly made him.......and Piper burst into tears. Yeah, that is not how you make a pregnant lady feel better, Thad
Thad tried to have a talk with Miss Kitty about waking up Piper, but he was distracted by yet another problem - a rat has apparently moved into the apartment.
Thad: "Isn't that kind of...your job?"
Miss Kitty: "Well since you're REPLACING me, no. Can the new baby catch rats? Hmmm? Should've thought about that before you decided to REPLACE me. Hmph."
Thad called the landlord before running off to class. Thankfully the maintenance guy showed up and took care of the problem before Piper got home and kicked out Missy Kitty and Thad
When Thad got home from class, he and Miss Kitty took a little cat nap together. He figured if he spent more time with her and made her understand she's not being "replaced," hopefully she'd stop terrorizing them lol.
Later that evening, he traveled all the way to Willow Creek to celebrate a special birthday - his younger bro Augustus was finally a teen! Sadly, Willow Creek has gotten a bit smoggy with all of the new developments
They braved the smog and went to the brand new Tipsy Cowplant bar & bowling alley. I was super excited to see @Heckstress17 's Miles working on the bar side (I don't care if NPCC is broken, I refuse to take it out of my game lol)
Augustus only being a teen and not quite old enough to drink, they stuck to the bowling side. They were super excited to spend some quality time together, since they hadn't seen each other much since Thad started college.
And Augustus was surprisingly really good at bowling!! Thad...not so much
After a quick match (which Augustus obviously won lol), they played a few arcade games, which Thad absolutely dominated lol.
Augustus is a little bit of a sore loser, but they're still best friends - they even have a secret "handshake" lol. I just love their close sibling relationship All in all, it was a great outing!
Back at home, Piper had gotten another promotion!!! This was the "big one" where she finally picked her specialty - she rolled "expert" so I went with that (even though supervisor probably wouldn't been more fitting ). She had been focusing on writing and logic as her career skills, but now they're programming and logic. Kinda random but okay lol.
Thad made sure she knew how proud he was
And of course he gave the bump some lovin' too.
Meanwhile Miss Kitty plotted their murders
Harvestfest came and they both finally got a day off (well, Thad had one class, but that didn't interrupt the day too much.) Before class, he made the Harvestfest turkey so they could head over to his parents' house as soon as he got home. They had some big news to share, after all.
I was happy to see Port Promise is still as clean & green as ever
Thad was worried his parents would react negatively to his relationship with Piper and the pregnancy (for not telling them sooner, at least), but Storm & Thalia were overjoyed to learn they're going to be grandparents! Plus I think they already knew he had been secretly in love with Piper for like, ever lol.
They all adored Piper once they got to know her. As far as they're concerned, she's already part of the family
Storm & Thalia wanted to be as helpful as possible, so they gave Thad the furniture from Augustus' nursery and some of his toddler toys. They also offered to babysit anytime - "Really, ANY time at all!" - and even offered to help pay for a wedding if and when that was an option lol
When Thad & Piper got back home, they set up the second bedroom as a nursery in anticipation of the little one. Miss Kitty immediately claimed it as "her" personal bedroom.
Sure enough, Piper went into labor in the middle of the night! We're having a Harvestfest baby!
They hurried over to the hospital. The doctor was pregnant herself, so she must know what she's doing, right? (She is also the granddaughter of @Heckstress17 's Trey and Evie Porter! She's the daughter of their fourth, born in-game child, as since Evie is pregnant in the gallery)
Of course that didn't stop these new parents from completely panicking and making the delivery far more difficult than it needed to be lol.
Eventually, Piper welcomed a baby boy into the world! Sweet little Owen Greene
........my gen 5 heir, everybody I don't care what he looks like or what traits he rolls when he grows up, there's no way I'm squeezing another sim into this apartment lol.
He wasn't an "easy" baby, but he wasn't the worst either. At least Piper has a family aspiration, because he just needed a lot of attention.
She stayed up literally ALL night with him (probably to protect him from Miss Kitty who still thinks the nursery is her bedroom lol). Yet she somehow still managed to get ready & go to work in the morning...yeah, she's definitely a super parent
When Piper left for work, Thad gave Miss Kitty lots of attention to make up for all the attention Owen got the night prior lol.
Thad also got his second semester grades back! All A+'s AGAIN! I genuinely don't know how I managed to do that considering I couldn't figure out how to get him to "study" for his knitting final exam (the regular textbook didn't have an option to study for the knitting class) and he almost missed all of his finals because it didn't automatically send him and I didn't notice until 30 mins + after the class started... Oh well, I'm not going to complain
He got his third (and hopefully final) semester schedule and spent the rest of the day getting ahead on homework and projects. When Piper got home from a verrrrry long day at work (sometimes she stays til midnight for no apparent reason???), she squeezed in a little time to play sims & just relax before going to bed, which she totally deserved lol.
Lucky for Thad, Thalia stopped by just as Piper fell asleep and the baby started crying "Oh hey, mom! The nursery is right there, and the diapers are on the dresser - good luck!"
Stinky diapers didn't bother her one bit, this woman raised three babies of her own lol, but she did leave it for Thad to change cause he's gotta learn someday. (spoiler alert - he didn't lol)
Eventually (after a weekend of homework/skill grinding which is too boring to take pics of lol) it was Owen's birthday! And of course he got the fussy trait kill me
Annnnd he's nearly a carbon copy of Thad (aside from his skintone) I was really hoping he'd get Piper's hair color, but I'm not that lucky Hopefully he'll look a bit more like his mama as he gets older. Maybe he got her face or lip shape at least?
Oh well, at least he's still a cutie I wish Thad had worked on his knitting more so Owen could have more cute knitted outfits, but this is what I had to work with lol (the baby and toddler onesies were purchased from plopsy because I'm so behind on his aspiration)
For those who asked about the paranormal pack - it definitely has a "boho" vibe. I looove the CAS and build/buy items, which is 100% of the reason why I got the pack because I couldn't care less about the actual paranormal stuff lol. The new women's clothes are my fav part of the pack - they're really well done meshes and I just love the boho style. I've noticed a lot of the new meshes seem a lot more "realistic" and less "clay-like" than older packs/base game, like the clothes actually have texture and are more detailed in general. It's like somewhere between "maxis match" and "alpha" which is strange but I'm not necessarily mad about, because it still looks nice.
@Heckstress17 I'm honestly really slacking on the fabrication skill + Thad's knitting aspiration right now, I was doing sort of okay when the fabricator was in the second bedroom, but now that its a nursery I've all but given up I'm going to try to have Thad take the toddler to Storm and Thalia's house so Thalia can spend time with her grandchild and Storm can mentor Thad more (it increases the skill soooooo much faster), but I also need the stupid "bits and pieces" which seem to reset between locations? Like he has bits and pieces at the apartment, but when he does to the maker space I placed he doesn't have any *insert eye roll emoji* I'm glad you like the apartment reno! It took me forever to pick a wall color, and I'm still not crazy about it but it's better than my go-to plain white I guess lol. Having the kitchen open at least lets Thad work on his school projects in the apartment, rather than having to travel to a community lot (where he almost lost his last project board ). Feel free to steal my floor plan if it helps make the space feel bigger!
I was actually kinda excited about the risky woohoo, but then I remembered Thad still had 2 semesters of college to do and they weren't even bf/gf yet, let alone engaged/married, and Thad hadn't really even told his parents they were dating at all??? Like it was just really sudden and I felt like I had a lot of "story" to catch up on before the baby was born Thats risky woohoo though, it hits at the worst possible time lol. Piper's the only sim I have with more than one lifestyle and OTHER lifestyles than people person! She got home from work one day and just suddenly gained all three lifestyles, whereas Thad only has people person one despite basically having the exact same life as her? I don't really understand the lifestyle system but I'm happy Piper got some different ones lol.
@Francisca464 Uni is definitely easier at home for me, I never send my sims to the dorms/uni housing. But I'm still surprised Thad has gotten all A+'s, like I usually get at least some A's and A-'s even when I do everything "perfectly" so Idk why all of a sudden I'm getting A+'s when nothing has changed. The trick-or-treating is part of the Spooky Day pack and a holiday activity you can set up in the calendar! I think it works better in apartments than houses though, because enough trick-or-treaters showed up for both Thad & Piper to complete the activity whereas usually I only get like 1 kid and only 1 sim can complete the activity. Lol I'm glad you and @Heckstress17 are excited for the risky woohoo baby cause I'm torn on it It makes me more willing to put up with it when ya'll are excited about it
What a fun first day of summer!! I always forget to do fun outdoor activities in the summer lol. I love all of their summer outfits too, especially Iris' OMG and she's actually knitting?!?! What crazy alternate universe is this?? Congrats to Aiyden on his lifestyle! AHH happy birthday Clover!! Omg she's sooo cute. I love her too!!! And her new room is gorgeous You may not like decorating but you're so good at it! Ughhh you reminded me of the monster under the bed...I'm not looking forward to that again lol. @OJenn I loved the recap/catch-up post! I wasn't expecting the time jump but I'm here for it!! Eileen and Rowan look so much like Thalia, I'm jealous! Omg, the gen 4 kids are all gorgeous!! Olive looks so much like her beautiful mama, so I totally understanding wanting to choose Bramble or Lychee. The apartment already looks awesome, but I can't wait to see who you pick and the changes you make to fit their style. Oh how cool that Olive is a spellcaster! I loved seeing her explore the magic realm. Congrats to Bramble and Charlotte (she's such a gorgeous gene pool mate!) It's funny that you say you may be taking a matriarchal approach, because after Thad & Piper had a boy in my game, I realized I'm definitely taking the patriarchal approach haha. I just googled "Boba Fett love interest" and the wiki page about her had pictures that looked like they were from a comic book. I only know Boba Fett cause I've been watching the Mandalorian so I know a LITTLE bit about him

Thank you! That explains why I haven't seen the costumes in my game; I don't celebrate Halloween so similar days aren't going to appear in my game . Winter looks slightly crazy in game, thanks to her eyes, but she's cute. Harley wasn't attacking the broom, I think he was playing in the water, it just looked like he was jumping on the broom! I'll have to check and see what cameras I've got in game because photography isn't something I worry about usually but seeing everyone else's selfies, I thought I'd like to do that too .
Great update! Congrats on little Owen! It's too bad you think he's almost a clone of Thad but he's cute nonetheless . Miss Kitty is so like my cat - doesn't like anyone invading his territory . And well done to Thad for getting A+'s again! And it's good that his mother is able to come and help out with Owen.
Lia and Heath took a day off from the clinic to allow Lia to work on her aspiration. She only needs two more animals to 'feel the love' with, which takes a while. It took the whole 7 hours to befriend just two cats!!

Leo's skill is Logic, so he got a chess set for his birthday. Within two minutes of starting this game, Heath was cheating. Leo let him
First time in ages Leo has autonomously interacted with the cats.
Then back to the park. The twins still needed to work on their social skills, while I wanted Leo to catch up with BFF Caleb (as well as hopefully a potential spouse!).
Leo and Caleb played some chess, and so did Ivy and Lyric. And once again, Malcolm was there. Doesn't he do anything else???
While Heath supervised the kids, Lia tried the workout machine
Hayden turned up and the twins tried to use her to befriend a second adult but Hayden left before it could be completed . Just as well Jonas turned up; they could then ambush him and make him their friend This allowed Lyric to complete the social aspiration but not Ivy.

Leo tried his hand at cooking grilled cheese. It didn't go too bad, all things considered .
This kind of autonomous hugging goes on all the time at meals! Everyone is good friends with each other, and it's good to see that Leo still likes his sisters.

Leo aging up cuter is making me think that aging up in CAS isn't 100% accurate, and it's making me wonder how the girls are going to go! And if they're all cute, I'll have a dilemma on my hands because I enjoy playing all three at the moment. I've added a teen Brooke Taylor (gen 2 spouse) into the game, so hopefully Leo will meet her soon and sparks will fly! I'll do the same for the two male spouses once the twins age up.

He is still very much his mother, but as you can see, when I switched Leo to female for a comparison, he has lips that don't match either parent in that form. I think that means he might actually have Heath’s lips.
@JordanNicoleJJ - Miss Kitty obviously runs this household she is too funny. Yikes! Willow Creek has definitely seen better days. At least everyone was able to enjoy themselves. I love how welcoming Thad's family was, not that I expected anything less. I totally understand not trying for another baby especially since the apartment is so small

As for bigger photos you will need to use a camera in the game, they're found in the misc electronics section. It will give you more options for picture sizes. Let me know if that helps! Wow I didn't realize just how off CAS can be sometimes, genetics in The Sims is already weird enough without CAS not being accurate. So far I like Leo but I am anxious to see how the twins turn out.
In my last update, I focused on making the spares were taken care of. So now it's time to get Lychee, the heiress settled into her tiny little apartment in Conifer Station.
The first order of business was to see what initiatives were active
Lychee was less than pleased and set out to change things in her new neighborhood
Luckily voting opened up a few days after she moved in. Since she is a foodie it was pretty important to have certain initiatives in place
Because of just how tiny the apartment is, Lychee has been spending a lot of time at the local park (built by @JordanNicoleJJ)
Which is both a great way to work on the family hobby and also blow off a little steam as well
As for her aspiration, well it means traveling a lot to other areas as there aren't a lot of fishing holes in Evergreen Harbor
She even joined a club called Just for the Halibut
Needless to say she is thriving and almost done with her aspiration
With such a low key aspiration Lychee could really do whatever she wanted for work. And after talking with her mom she decided she wanted her own restaurant to follow in her father's footsteps. Momma Hayden loaned her the money to get started ♥
After some searching around she remembered the one restaurant they always went to as a family, Anavrin.
She was thrilled to call the place hers, just look at that smile

I was pleasantly surprised to see that her date was potential mate, Dylan!
Let's just say things went really well and they hit it off almost immediately
Days later it was time for the big Romance Festival in San Myshuno and Lychee couldn't wait to see what the Guru had to say
Meanwhile back in her tiny little apartment, she redecorated a corner of her bedroom to have a small office. I couldn't bring myself to mess with the restaurant to make an office
And she decided to get a dog as well: the first dog while cute was not interested in Lychee at all and wasn't afraid to show it
She decided to pass on that pup especially since she wanted to have kids in the future
The next upper, however, won her over (and me too)
Lychee named him Tuna after one of her favorite hobbies
Once the little guy was an adult the two became inseparable
Dylan is a man who knows what he wants and Lychee got this call out of the blue (I think it's from the mod I use but I'm not sure I just love it)

@OJenn - I loved how you set your spares up for success before moving out with your heir. The pictures of Olive in Glimmerbrook were so cool! That world has a very Elder Scrolls look to it, which is awesome. Olive fits the part of a spellcaster perfectly. The picture with her glowing blue eyes was so cool I've never really seen any of you show off the Magic pack so I really enjoyed those pictures. Aw Bramble, he is such a cutie. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad disappointed he's not the heir. But I love that Charlotte's his girlfriend Now that you mention it, Lychee does remind me of Iris! I haven't done the Angling Ace aspiration in soooooo long. Lychee looked adorable in her snow suit with her first "catch" though Oh wow! She did not get a warm welcome to Conifer Station. That water conservation NAP is rough! The new NAP's she voted for will be much better. She looks so happy playing in the sprinkler at the park Brindleton Bay is a great place to fish! It's a bummer that Port Promise doesn't have more places to fish though I feel like that was a bit of an oversight on EA's part. "Just for the Halibut" lol love it. Awwww Hayden loaned her the money to buy Anavrin?! She looks like such a proud business owner There's a sim dating app!? Is this a mod? lol I need it! But anyway omg look at how cute you made Dylan!!! The hair and the gauges are so perfect on him I hate hate HATE that MCC ruined him and Melrose getting together in my game Anyway lol Lychee's necklace is super cute, she looked adorable, and obviously Dylan agreed. I need that mod ASAP! The romance guru was much more positive to Lychee then she was to Mel lol. I'm so bummed the little Rottweiler didn't warm up to Lychee. He was so cute, even while barring his teeth lol. Tuna lol he's super cute too though. I love the pictures of them together Dylan's call to admit his crush is actually just a part of the game. @MayaRose1138 - Your Brindleton bay is coming along nicely I love map progress pics, and I like how your four corners park look from the map view. Little Tobias is adorable. He looks just like Fawn and Jonas' boys from my game. Fawn's genes are universally strong it appears. I definitely think pre rolling next gens traits + aspirations is the easiest way to go. Melrose never did get her money for racing to the alter! It was definitely a scam. I'm way late answering your question about the photos, but better late then never? Camera's were added with the Get to Work EP (and possibly the Moschino SP??) and if your sim uses an expensive enough camera there's 3 different size photos. I know you said you weren't really planning on getting Eco Living, and I gotta tell you I wasn't interested in it at all. However, it turned out to be one of my favorite packs. The world is really beautiful and seeing it change with the different "Neighborhood Action Plans" is really cool. The fabrication skill was a nice surprise for me as well. Being able to craft your own furniture with different dyes and stuff is pretty fun. And the flooring, furniture and hairstyles are all really well made and get a lot of use from me. If given a choice I'd choose Eco Living over City Living every time. Of course it's just my opinion, but City Living has some of the most ugly and useless clothes of any pack, and the city itself is soooo boxed off and limited feeling. Plus, the "festivals" are very buggy and just kinda lame and if apartments are a selling point for you then Eco Living also has apartment buildings too! I think Tiny Living is a good buy, especially if you're looking for space saving furniture. I HATE using super tiny houses and was worried the furniture wouldn't be useable in bigger spaces, but it is, and it's all pretty cute too. I'm annoyed it didn't include bunk beds though.
Winter is finally a full grown kitty! I definitely see the resemblance to her Father in her facial expression Leo and Heath playing dolls together is too funny, and sweet. His sister's are missing out for sure. Yay Fawn! She's finally a helpful staff member lol! She even remained professional while talking to that granny in the bikini top I love your clinic so much. Every time I see your updates it makes me wanna blow through the rest of Evergreen Harbor so I can start rebuilding with Lia and Heath in Brindleton Bay too. The kitty's lined up on the dresser for their family portrait was adorable. Lia looks so cute in her vet coat helping the kids with their homework at the clinic Leo completed 3 childhood aspirations?! He's a little prodigy in the making for sure. Haha updating Lia's sleepwear before Leo ages up is a good call. omg her little knitted hanging pot is so cute! The twins celebrating their grades while Leo's practically already graduated college with honors is too funny. I love what a little overachiever he is. I think he aged up adorably. I really like him, and I don't think he's a complete clone of his Mom at all. He really has his own look, and he definitely has his Dad's mouth. His teen bedroom is perfect. It is so hard to make a bedroom look like a space for a teen, but you've totally nailed it, and for his personality too. I love Leo's facial expression while he was playing chess with his Dad For a slob he sure did seem annoyed with the cats for their puke puddles, or were those hair balls? Congrats on Lyric completing her aspiration, glad Jonas could be a non creepy adult friend to her lol her facial expressions though
@JordanNicoleJJ - I'm so glad you mentioned the bits and pieces thing. I seriously thought I was just doing something wrong. I probably would've maxed all my heirs fabrication skill if the bits and pieces moved with them from lot to lot, but for whatever reason they seem tied to my sims home lot, and that is killing me since Melrose can't fabricate in her shoe box apartment. Anyway, you've kinda sold me on the paranormal pack. From what I've seen the paranormal stuff is pretty lacking or lame, but the CAS and buy mode stuff alone look worth it. I totally agree that the pack's meshes have tremendously improved. I'm definitely a "maxis match" player, but even with some of the newer meshes having more of an alpha feel, they're so well made that I ain't mad either lol
omg Pipers angry face is the best, as is Miss Kitty being a supreme pain in the a** 24/7 Also, I totally hate you for how cute that apartment is. It's literally perfect, how you managed to take something the size of a walk in closet and make it look stylishly adorable is beyond me. And the wall color you chose is perfect. He was finished before I moved Lawrence out of the house and that never happens!
@MayaRose1138 - Malcolm being a frequent visitor is hilarious especially since he used to work there and seemed to hate it. Speaking of the clinic it looks like it's thriving ♥ Those pesky monsters under the bed, at least Heath was there to save the day! I always thought the lights you have in the kids room were supposed to keep them away. Maybe thats why you haven't had them until now. I love that Lia has taken up knitting and that beanie she was made was adorable!
As for bigger photos you will need to use a camera in the game, they're found in the misc electronics section. It will give you more options for picture sizes. Let me know if that helps! Wow I didn't realize just how off CAS can be sometimes, genetics in The Sims is already weird enough without CAS not being accurate. So far I like Leo but I am anxious to see how the twins turn out.
The clinic is doing really well, usually about 16 customers per day, but I can’t get it past 4 stars. In fact at the moment, ever since I looked up how to get it to 5-stars and followed the advice of the person who did do it (but I didn’t put the knight statue in) for a day, it’s gone down to 3.5 stars. This is despite socialising with the clients, treating the pets promptly and quickly, and keeping the clinic clean. I don’t know what else to do so I’m giving up on getting it to five stars and just concentrating on delivering good service .
I haven’t had a lot of luck with those lights in my other save but in this one, the toddlers all slept through the night and the kids haven’t experienced any monsters except for Ivy that once. For my save - so far - it’s been very effective. The cats, however, wake up the kids. Every. Single. Night. 😒. It will interesting to see if this trend continues when they’re teens because the cats don’t seem to wake up the adults of the house...
I haven’t checked out the cameras yet but I’ll let you know. I found in Sims 3 that aging up in CAS wasn’t a totally reliable indicator of how they’d turn out but I’d hoped that S4 would be better. Unless Leo changes much from teen to YA, I think there’s still problems 😂. Your update was great. Lychee seems to be enjoying the single life but it must be fate that her date was a gene pool sim! Where is Dylan’s hair from? I don’t think I’ve seen it before. I hope the restaurant works out for Lychee!

Having a look at Eco Living for its CAS items, I have to agree - it does seem to have better items than City Living. Everyone seems to have so much fun at the festivals though, I thought it would be better than NAPs and such. Maybe I’ll have to have a rethink. I’m not planning on getting the next set of packs until April though (to give me time to check out the new ones I just got), and I’ll probably get Get Together for that. So I’ve got plenty of time to figure out what to get after that. Though you do make a good case for EL 😆.
All the kids managed to get three aspirations because I would swap between them depending on what they were doing. Leo and Lyric always seem to finish their homework faster than Ivy. Thank you for the compliment about the bedroom! I feel I’m finally getting better at decorating - possibly because I’m inspired by everyone else’s being so good!! The cats are tending to leave a lot of hair balls around recently so I’ll have to get the kids and Lia into brushing them more! Leo doesn’t seem to be a complete clone but he does have a lot of Lia’s features. However, he does have his own look, which is really cute 🥰. I’m two game days away from aging up the twins, so then I’ll have to start really thinking about an. I am still leaning towards Lyric because of her traits, aspiration and career, but it might depend a little on how she and Ivy age up.

The family vacation was fun but I’m wondering whether I should implement the opposite of your heir-choosing policy in that the one who doesn’t end up on fire is the smartest and therefore should be heir 🤣. Mind you, there is still plenty of time before the twins are YAs, so Lyric could still do something stupid!
I found the old thread of RWC and have been slowly reading through that and then the new thread, and so have been reading about Lia’s ancestors. Unfortunately, since I do it on a device, I haven’t actually seen many of the pictures, nor have I got up to where Lia is born yet. I’d put Greyson and Lawrence in my save but that might be a bit awkward if they ended up marrying anyone from my family 😂.
@MayaRose1138 - Dylan's hair comes from the new Paranormal pack. Luckily the NAPs only impact each of the neighborhoods separately within the town, so one could have a green footprint while another is neutral. At least that has been my experience

@OJenn seems last time I read the forum, little Bramble was just born in game! I was sure I had already commented on that, but maybe not??? Anyway, Bramble's such a funny/quirky name, especially for me, a non-english native. And he turned out to be super cute! Olive's such a great big sis with him, I love her. She aged up into such a fun girl. Aaaaah so much happened without pics lol! The next gen is all grown up! And they all look so handsome I'm totally leaning for Lychee, she looks the most unique between all of them. You also did amazing with the renovated apartment! I think the magic aspiration totally fits Olive omg Bramble's already got a girlfriend (last time I saw him he had a diaper on lol) *facepalm* -- Lychee! Yes! I'm glad you went for her as heir! Lychee looks perfect as the heir in her new apartment, so happy and carefree (lol the juiced community tho). She bought Anavrin!! Nice! It was nice seeing Augustus all grown up almost forgot he existed for a second forgive me lol. Harvestfest back at the old Greene house was beautiful to see I miss that fam/gen so much. Aaaaah and Harvestfest nooboo!! Owen so precious with his purple theme outfits! I think... there's something of Piper in him?? I might be hallucinating But he's ADORABLE anyway, so I'm sure I'll love him regardless of his genetics, even without them red hair
@Francisca464 I loved the NPCC mod, a lot! I'm just... annoyed that it hasn't been updated in so long for free, so I took it out before it messed up my new save. My sims will travel back and forth to Batuu, so I'm sure the game could break again. The health of my game comes before ugly townies spawning lol. I haven't read much yet but I hope you like my lots if you downloaded from the gallery?? Like... I'm really not a builder and I think all of them are a mess, but hey, I hope they work out for you. I need to redo most of them as I'm not happy with how they look. And OH BOY the in-Greene matches lol. I mean... they might be unholy unions, but I don't really mind them lol.
I've said it before, but... I LOVE fussy toddlers to me (a babysitter) they feel like the most realistic ones lol. Clover was such a huge fave of mine as a fussy toddler Florian, on the other hand, is such a precious little sim, 100% angelic. Did you try to kill Aiyden off with cowplant??? It's refreshing to see sims out in Granite Fall, even if for just a little while... fire accidents aside lol those pics of Lia sitting there like nothing's happening while her daughter is on fire I love that the kids took part of Love Day to gift mom some flowers (even tho she kept roasting her marshmallows while they were on fire but anyway) the kids had such a great time in that park, nice! It really has everything one would want from a park. Your Brindleton Bay's turning out amazing! Lol I wasn't expecting to see Malcom back... hey, he might just really love that vet clinic, right?? I'm vicariously living all my love for pets through your game, for real they look like such a handful, but I love every single one of them! Leo aged up into such a handsome teen! I've yet to catch up with your updates, but I hope that she and Meric are going to have kids together pls, sim gods (aka mccc) make it happen! As for my builds... Speaking about WC lots... I LOVE yours I've also told you this when you were restarting the WC challenge. They fit the vibe of the town so well!! I'm seriously tempted to get yours and move mine to Newcrest! Are they on the gallery?? Gabriel and Melrose's date on Love Day was so cute. I'm surprised Mel got to change career, but not really... I mean, this way she can work waaay closer to home. Look at her getting the pristine reputation!! lol that love guru (almost) ruining the mood. Don't lose hope, Gabriel! -- well, I knew that that risky 3% was going to get them sooner or later, but I was not expecting it to happen simultaneously with Carter's death he didn't even live to see his first grandchild but what is going on in the Greene household???? LOL the drama! That Rebecca Bachelor knows how to ruin families! Meric's lucky Poppy hasn't kicked him out yet tbh... but after this Becca married Miles, I mean, there might be a bigger thing brewing in the dark lol. Woohoo compatible?? ) (Btw, that community garden looks awesome!) it's basically certain that Dylan wasn't ready to see Mel's huge baby bump... he must have realized that things were "over" for them? I think to answer your question on the bigger pictures you have to have the better camera. If you're using the smaller digital camera you only get small pictures. When you click on them, you get the option to frame. Also, I love the tiny living pack.

I should be able to do comments and an update tomorrow but I have another quick question. I put one of the potential spouses in town, Brooke Norton, and aged her down to teen on the same day Leo aged up. Three days later, and she aged to YA. What did I do wrong? Shouldn’t she have gone back to the start of teendom? I’ve taken her out but plan to de-age her again and put her back in, but now she’ll be several days younger than Leo. How do you stop potential spouses from aging up when they shouldn’t?
@MayaRose1138 I've had that aging problem come up with a few of the potential mates. In the rebuild challenge sweet Di Mossle will age up on you. What I do if I know someone will age up I go into the game and use MCCC to reset their age. I'm sure there are some sim cheats that do it too but you can't count on aging them down in CAS to be the answer.

Somehow, while lighting the fire, Leo caught fire for a second time! (I'm now afraid to let him do anything related for fear of him killing himself!) Fortunately, both his parents were quick to put him out this time .
The cats weren't too happy with Leo though. Mimi and Winter were doing synchronised spins for several minutes!
Leo wasn't too happy about catching on fire again so he took a bubble bath. Winter followed him into the bathroom and her expressions seems to be "if I grab his towel, that will teach him for starting a fire!"
Since it was a cold day, everyone stayed home. Leo practised his chess, Lia knit a rug for Ivy, Heath read to Ivy, and Lyric did some extra homework.
Winter brought Lyric a present of broken fossils. Leo wanted to know why Winter didn't bring one for him!
Heath decided to make butternut gnocchi for dinner. I don't think that's how it's supposed to be made, Heath!!
The next morning, Leo was up bright and early for his job as a barista.
A very pregnant Fawn arrived at work and chatted to Lia about the upcoming arrival.
She looks a little scared here though when Heath promoted her to Level 3!

Geoffrey Landgraab died of old age. Lia had only met him the day before and become good friends, so she was very sad. Heath decided to cheer her up with a kiss and this was her reaction It kind of worked for a while but then the sadness took over again and she couldn't treat any patients (she only had the option 'greet patient impatiently'), so Heath took over the majority of the work. Surprisingly, it was the only day so far that Malcolm hasn't come into the clinic.
And before they knew it, it was the twins birthday!! Ivy aged up with the Bookworm trait, the Musical Genius aspiration, and her hobby being the guitar. She got a guitar and violin as a present.
Lyric aged up with the Active trait, the Friend of the Animals aspiration, and her hobby being Vet. (see why I liked her rolls!) She got a workout machine as a present.
Comparisons with their parents. Ivy has Lia's hair colour, eye/nose/mouth shape; and Heath's eye/skin colour, and face shape. Lyric has Lia's eye/nose shape, and eye/skin colour; and Heath's hair colour, and face/mouth shape. I think that makes Lyric possibly the best genetic mix.

So I decided to check the comparisons between the three children. I think Ivy, despite what she inherited from Heath, looks a fair amount like Lia so I'm counting her out of the running for heir (unless she becomes my favourite while a teen). Leo is also pretty much Lia but he's really cute Lyric actually looks quite good with that hairstyle.

I've put Brooke back in, and the two male spouses, and flagged them not to age. Hopefully that will prevent them from aging up!
I've got multiple exam stations in one room because they don't fit anywhere else . Fawn is doing really well, I am really surprised. She generally sneaks in while Lia or Heath are greeting the owners, but she's treating at least three pets a day, so she's doing a good job! I'm liking the knitting but I didn't realise sims could tire of knitting. And I've been trying to get Lia to knit a sweater outfit for Lyric but if she stops in the middle of it, she can't resume and has to start all over again! So I'll have to wait until she's got a lot of time to knit continuously .
This challenge has made me get my sims out of the house more and visiting other locations, which I hadn't really done before. I know - I don't know why Leo's so much cuter!! All the teens now have a new camera that will hopefully give them bigger pictures!
@MayaRose1138 OMG the color pop with those two girls' bedrooms! I love it! I wish I had the courage to try some bold colors like that. It's refreshing to see sims out in Granite Fall, even if for just a little while... fire accidents aside lol those pics of Lia sitting there like nothing's happening while her daughter is on fire I love that the kids took part of Love Day to gift mom some flowers (even tho she kept roasting her marshmallows while they were on fire but anyway) the kids had such a great time in that park, nice! It really has everything one would want from a park. Your Brindleton Bay's turning out amazing! Lol I wasn't expecting to see Malcom back... hey, he might just really love that vet clinic, right?? I'm vicariously living all my love for pets through your game, for real they look like such a handful, but I love every single one of them! Leo aged up into such a handsome teen! Welcome back! Your sims in my game have been fairly quiet except for the amount of announcements going on! Clara and Emilia both got married, Clara had a baby girl Lyla, and Rory just got someone pregnant! I can't do plain bedrooms, I don't know why . Thank you for all the lovely compliments . The pets in the house are mostly well behaved but the strays... well, they've caused some issues!
@MayaRose1138 - Dylan's hair comes from the new Paranormal pack. Luckily the NAPs only impact each of the neighborhoods separately within the town, so one could have a green footprint while another is neutral. At least that has been my experience
But do the other towns also have NAPs? Because I don't want to be dealing with them outside of Evergreen Harbour.

I just press the print screen button on my keyboard, then paste and save it using Microsoft paint. There's probably an easier way lol but that's how I've always done it.

I'm think for the next generation, I'll pre-roll everything but maybe skip the teen one and just get the two extra traits plus the aspiration and career from the YA roll. That will save me from sorting out which aspiration and hobby they should do.
There are 12 eggs to find and it's always very easy. If each family member searches in around 5 or 6 places in the house or outside, they're likely to get all 12. I've just got to find a better place to put them than on the floor!
Did Melrose get anything for marrying Gabriel? Aww, the twins are so cute but I don't know how you're going to pick an heir based on looks! And to have them both wild... fun times ahead! It's always the way that if you don't have room, the game will give you reason to regret that

I can just imagine it - getting prepared to take over the world and she's like, "nah, I can't be bothered today, I'll do it tomorrow"
@OJenn - I like how all three kids turned out but I think I like Olive's looks the most; she actually reminds me of someone I used to teach! I've managed to get through 3 days of sim-work at the clinic, so only Thursday and Friday to go before I can age Leo up. Both he and Ivy have two character traits in range - Manners and Responsibility - while Lyric only has Manners. For some reason, she just can't seem to get Responsibility up high. Lychee is so cute, and I think she will make a great heir. I haven't played as an angler yet so I'll be interested to see how she goes with it.

Winter finally aged into an adult (thanks to some cheating). She got her coat from her mother but her facial features and eye colour from her father.
Leo still enjoys playing with the dollhouse with Heath - not his sisters!
Malcolm is back at the clinic again. He seems to visit every single day!
Fawn actually got to attend to a client and did a good job, even if it took twice as long as Lia and Heath. She is also learning how to talk to the customers.
Project night again, and Christina came home with Ivy rather than Leo. He seems to be asking his sister why that's the case
And for the first and only time so far this generation, the monster under the bed made an appearance, and poor Ivy was the victim. Usually the kids get woken up by the cats, so this was a change. Luckily, Heath was able to come and deal with it.
The next day, Aniyah came over and became the last friend Leo needed for his aspiration! She was angry to start with but Leo soon talked her into happiness
The cats continue to provide entertainment... or be nuisances!

Time at the clinic ran over one day, so the kids did their homework there. Their parents took a bit of time out to help them.
The rest was done at home while Lia continued to knit.
And Leo finished off the creative aspiration as well, which makes three! Now he can just do what he likes because there's no time to complete the fourth one.
So he invited Caleb around for some socialisation.

I also got myself a bundle of Snowy Escape, Realm of Magic, and Nifty Knitting. I have two more bundles planned (Get Together, Spa Day, Movie Night/City Living, Dine Out, Backyard Stuff), and then there’s an extra stuff pack (the bowling one) at the moment that will have to wait until a new EP and GP come out 🤣. There’s way more stuff packs than any others, and some of them I don’t want, so I’m not worrying about any others like Tiny Living yet. I’m definitely not getting the Vampire or Paranormal packs, and probably not Eco Living, although I may change my mind on that one!
Edit: for those who have Tiny Living, is it worth getting? I have a couple of small houses coming up in the next generations and want to know whether it would be worth investing in that pack. I’ve downloaded some bunk beds (which I’m hoping didn’t contribute to the slight weirdness of my game this afternoon that cut my playing short) but what is in that pack that would be good?

In my last update, Piper found out she was pregnant, and she and Thad were super excited about it! Not so excited was Miss Kitty, the fur-baby of the family. She started yowling for attention and waking Piper up unnecessarily early every morning...Piper got tired of it real quick
I wonder if Thad would hate me forever if that cat just happened to...fall...off the balcony........
Needless to say, it really just started the day off wrong.
Thad only made things worse by literally gagging at the pancakes she so lovingly made him.......and Piper burst into tears. Yeah, that is not how you make a pregnant lady feel better, Thad
Thad tried to have a talk with Miss Kitty about waking up Piper, but he was distracted by yet another problem - a rat has apparently moved into the apartment.
Thad: "Isn't that kind of...your job?"
Miss Kitty: "Well since you're REPLACING me, no. Can the new baby catch rats? Hmmm? Should've thought about that before you decided to REPLACE me. Hmph."
Thad called the landlord before running off to class. Thankfully the maintenance guy showed up and took care of the problem before Piper got home and kicked out Missy Kitty and Thad
When Thad got home from class, he and Miss Kitty took a little cat nap together. He figured if he spent more time with her and made her understand she's not being "replaced," hopefully she'd stop terrorizing them lol.
Later that evening, he traveled all the way to Willow Creek to celebrate a special birthday - his younger bro Augustus was finally a teen! Sadly, Willow Creek has gotten a bit smoggy with all of the new developments
They braved the smog and went to the brand new Tipsy Cowplant bar & bowling alley. I was super excited to see @Heckstress17 's Miles working on the bar side
Augustus only being a teen and not quite old enough to drink, they stuck to the bowling side. They were super excited to spend some quality time together, since they hadn't seen each other much since Thad started college.
And Augustus was surprisingly really good at bowling!! Thad...not so much
After a quick match (which Augustus obviously won lol), they played a few arcade games, which Thad absolutely dominated lol.
Augustus is a little bit of a sore loser, but they're still best friends - they even have a secret "handshake" lol. I just love their close sibling relationship
Back at home, Piper had gotten another promotion!!! This was the "big one" where she finally picked her specialty - she rolled "expert" so I went with that (even though supervisor probably wouldn't been more fitting
Thad made sure she knew how proud he was
And of course he gave the bump some lovin' too.
Meanwhile Miss Kitty plotted their murders
Harvestfest came and they both finally got a day off (well, Thad had one class, but that didn't interrupt the day too much.) Before class, he made the Harvestfest turkey so they could head over to his parents' house as soon as he got home. They had some big news to share, after all.
I was happy to see Port Promise is still as clean & green as ever
Thad was worried his parents would react negatively to his relationship with Piper and the pregnancy (for not telling them sooner, at least), but Storm & Thalia were overjoyed to learn they're going to be grandparents! Plus I think they already knew he had been secretly in love with Piper for like, ever lol.
They all adored Piper once they got to know her. As far as they're concerned, she's already part of the family
Storm & Thalia wanted to be as helpful as possible, so they gave Thad the furniture from Augustus' nursery and some of his toddler toys. They also offered to babysit anytime - "Really, ANY time at all!" - and even offered to help pay for a wedding if and when that was an option lol
When Thad & Piper got back home, they set up the second bedroom as a nursery in anticipation of the little one. Miss Kitty immediately claimed it as "her" personal bedroom.
Sure enough, Piper went into labor in the middle of the night! We're having a Harvestfest baby!
They hurried over to the hospital. The doctor was pregnant herself, so she must know what she's doing, right?
Of course that didn't stop these new parents from completely panicking and making the delivery far more difficult than it needed to be lol.
Eventually, Piper welcomed a baby boy into the world! Sweet little Owen Greene

He wasn't an "easy" baby, but he wasn't the worst either. At least Piper has a family aspiration, because he just needed a lot of attention.
She stayed up literally ALL night with him (probably to protect him from Miss Kitty who still thinks the nursery is her bedroom lol). Yet she somehow still managed to get ready & go to work in the morning...yeah, she's definitely a super parent
When Piper left for work, Thad gave Miss Kitty lots of attention to make up for all the attention Owen got the night prior lol.
Thad also got his second semester grades back! All A+'s AGAIN! I genuinely don't know how I managed to do that considering I couldn't figure out how to get him to "study" for his knitting final exam (the regular textbook didn't have an option to study for the knitting class) and he almost missed all of his finals because it didn't automatically send him and I didn't notice until 30 mins + after the class started... Oh well, I'm not going to complain
He got his third (and hopefully final) semester schedule and spent the rest of the day getting ahead on homework and projects. When Piper got home from a verrrrry long day at work (sometimes she stays til midnight for no apparent reason???), she squeezed in a little time to play sims & just relax before going to bed, which she totally deserved lol.
Lucky for Thad, Thalia stopped by just as Piper fell asleep and the baby started crying
Stinky diapers didn't bother her one bit, this woman raised three babies of her own lol, but she did leave it for Thad to change cause he's gotta learn someday. (spoiler alert - he didn't lol)
Eventually (after a weekend of homework/skill grinding which is too boring to take pics of lol) it was Owen's birthday! And of course he got the fussy trait
Annnnd he's nearly a carbon copy of Thad (aside from his skintone)
Oh well, at least he's still a cutie
@Heckstress17 I'm honestly really slacking on the fabrication skill + Thad's knitting aspiration right now, I was doing sort of okay when the fabricator was in the second bedroom, but now that its a nursery I've all but given up
@Francisca464 Uni is definitely easier at home for me, I never send my sims to the dorms/uni housing. But I'm still surprised Thad has gotten all A+'s, like I usually get at least some A's and A-'s even when I do everything "perfectly" so Idk why all of a sudden I'm getting A+'s when nothing has changed. The trick-or-treating is part of the Spooky Day pack and a holiday activity you can set up in the calendar! I think it works better in apartments than houses though, because enough trick-or-treaters showed up for both Thad & Piper to complete the activity whereas usually I only get like 1 kid and only 1 sim can complete the activity. Lol I'm glad you and @Heckstress17 are excited for the risky woohoo baby cause I'm torn on it

Olive looks so much like her beautiful mama, so I totally understanding wanting to choose Bramble or Lychee. The apartment already looks awesome, but I can't wait to see who you pick and the changes you make to fit their style. Oh how cool that Olive is a spellcaster! I think the star wars costume are base game or maybe from the star wars pack (I don't pay enough attention lol), and the 'wear costume' and 'trick or treat' interaction came from Spooky Day + Seasons (I set up a spooky day holiday). I just googled "Boba Fett love interest" and the wiki page about her had pictures that looked like they were from a comic book. I only know Boba Fett cause I've been watching the Mandalorian so I know a LITTLE bit about him

Lia and Heath took a day off from the clinic to allow Lia to work on her aspiration. She only needs two more animals to 'feel the love' with, which takes a while. It took the whole 7 hours to befriend just two cats!!
Meanwhile, Winter wanted pancakes for breakfast!
For a dog lover, Heath gets on surprisingly well with the cats. He and Mimi are good friends.
When this picture was taken, I realised I needed to change Lia's sleepwear because once her son became a teen, he was going to be so embarrassed by her in her underwear
Lia's plant holder that she knitted. (I'm going to see how much of that aspiration she can do before the end of the generation).
The twins came home from school with A's and congratulated each other. Leo seems to be like "I did that ages ago..."
Addisyn Landgraab (Malcolm's sister) came home from school with Lyric, and both twins ended up friending her.
Then the next day, it was finally time for Leo's birthday! His family were all there but forgot to cheer him on
He aged up a lot cuter than CAS had implied!!! He rolled Slob, and his aspiration is Successful Lineage.

Leo's skill is Logic, so he got a chess set for his birthday. Within two minutes of starting this game, Heath was cheating. Leo let him
First time in ages Leo has autonomously interacted with the cats.
Then back to the park. The twins still needed to work on their social skills, while I wanted Leo to catch up with BFF Caleb (as well as hopefully a potential spouse!).
Leo and Caleb played some chess, and so did Ivy and Lyric. And once again, Malcolm was there. Doesn't he do anything else???
While Heath supervised the kids, Lia tried the workout machine
Hayden turned up and the twins tried to use her to befriend a second adult but Hayden left before it could be completed
Lyric's facial expressions were hilarious!
Leo tried his hand at cooking grilled cheese. It didn't go too bad, all things considered
This kind of autonomous hugging goes on all the time at meals! Everyone is good friends with each other, and it's good to see that Leo still likes his sisters.
Lyric and Leo played some chess together while Ivy made her final friend, Mallory Niu. And yes, that is Winter on the ground rolling in the flour!
Leo aging up cuter is making me think that aging up in CAS isn't 100% accurate, and it's making me wonder how the girls are going to go! And if they're all cute, I'll have a dilemma on my hands because I enjoy playing all three at the moment. I've added a teen Brooke Taylor (gen 2 spouse) into the game, so hopefully Leo will meet her soon and sparks will fly! I'll do the same for the two male spouses once the twins age up.

He is still very much his mother, but as you can see, when I switched Leo to female for a comparison, he has lips that don't match either parent in that form. I think that means he might actually have Heath’s lips.

@MayaRose1138 - Malcolm being a frequent visitor is hilarious especially since he used to work there and seemed to hate it. Speaking of the clinic it looks like it's thriving ♥ Those pesky monsters under the bed, at least Heath was there to save the day! I always thought the lights you have in the kids room were supposed to keep them away. Maybe thats why you haven't had them until now. I love that Lia has taken up knitting and that beanie she was made was adorable!
As for bigger photos you will need to use a camera in the game, they're found in the misc electronics section. It will give you more options for picture sizes. Let me know if that helps! Wow I didn't realize just how off CAS can be sometimes, genetics in The Sims is already weird enough without CAS not being accurate. So far I like Leo but I am anxious to see how the twins turn out.
Rebuild | Rebuild Vol. 2
The first order of business was to see what initiatives were active
Lychee was less than pleased and set out to change things in her new neighborhood
Luckily voting opened up a few days after she moved in. Since she is a foodie it was pretty important to have certain initiatives in place
Because of just how tiny the apartment is, Lychee has been spending a lot of time at the local park (built by @JordanNicoleJJ)
Which is both a great way to work on the family hobby and also blow off a little steam as well
As for her aspiration, well it means traveling a lot to other areas as there aren't a lot of fishing holes in Evergreen Harbor
She even joined a club called Just for the Halibut
Needless to say she is thriving and almost done with her aspiration
With such a low key aspiration Lychee could really do whatever she wanted for work. And after talking with her mom she decided she wanted her own restaurant to follow in her father's footsteps. Momma Hayden loaned her the money to get started ♥
After some searching around she remembered the one restaurant they always went to as a family, Anavrin.
She was thrilled to call the place hers, just look at that smile
On the romantic front Lychee decided to test the waters and go on a blind date, she was starting to feel a tad lonely in her little apartment
I was pleasantly surprised to see that her date was potential mate, Dylan!
Let's just say things went really well and they hit it off almost immediately
Days later it was time for the big Romance Festival in San Myshuno and Lychee couldn't wait to see what the Guru had to say
Meanwhile back in her tiny little apartment, she redecorated a corner of her bedroom to have a small office. I couldn't bring myself to mess with the restaurant to make an office
And she decided to get a dog as well: the first dog while cute was not interested in Lychee at all and wasn't afraid to show it
She decided to pass on that pup especially since she wanted to have kids in the future
The next upper, however, won her over (and me too)
Lychee named him Tuna after one of her favorite hobbies
Once the little guy was an adult the two became inseparable
Dylan is a man who knows what he wants and Lychee got this call out of the blue (I think it's from the mod I use but I'm not sure I just love it)

That world has a very Elder Scrolls look to it, which is awesome. Olive fits the part of a spellcaster perfectly. The picture with her glowing blue eyes was so cool

@JordanNicoleJJ - I'm so glad you mentioned the bits and pieces thing. I seriously thought I was just doing something wrong. I probably would've maxed all my heirs fabrication skill if the bits and pieces moved with them from lot to lot, but for whatever reason they seem tied to my sims home lot, and that is killing me since Melrose can't fabricate in her shoe box apartment. Anyway, you've kinda sold me on the paranormal pack. From what I've seen the paranormal stuff is pretty lacking or lame, but the CAS and buy mode stuff alone look worth it. I totally agree that the pack's meshes have tremendously improved. I'm definitely a "maxis match" player, but even with some of the newer meshes having more of an alpha feel, they're so well made that I ain't mad either lol

ooo I love that Olive when to spell crafting. I still have not played with that pack. It seems like it could be a little fun. Oh there I was thinking Bramble would be heir! I love his girlfriend. She's very pretty. I can't wait to see what Lychee does! Sometimes you can get through the angling ace aspiration quickly. I know I did with Lawrence's brother. He was finished before I moved Lawrence out of the house and that never happens!
The clinic is doing really well, usually about 16 customers per day, but I can’t get it past 4 stars. In fact at the moment, ever since I looked up how to get it to 5-stars and followed the advice of the person who did do it (but I didn’t put the knight statue in) for a day, it’s gone down to 3.5 stars. This is despite socialising with the clients, treating the pets promptly and quickly, and keeping the clinic clean. I don’t know what else to do so I’m giving up on getting it to five stars and just concentrating on delivering good service
I haven’t had a lot of luck with those lights in my other save but in this one, the toddlers all slept through the night and the kids haven’t experienced any monsters except for Ivy that once. For my save - so far - it’s been very effective. The cats, however, wake up the kids. Every. Single. Night. 😒. It will interesting to see if this trend continues when they’re teens because the cats don’t seem to wake up the adults of the house...
I haven’t checked out the cameras yet but I’ll let you know. I found in Sims 3 that aging up in CAS wasn’t a totally reliable indicator of how they’d turn out but I’d hoped that S4 would be better. Unless Leo changes much from teen to YA, I think there’s still problems 😂. Your update was great. Lychee seems to be enjoying the single life but it must be fate that her date was a gene pool sim! Where is Dylan’s hair from? I don’t think I’ve seen it before. I hope the restaurant works out for Lychee!
Question: if you have Eco Living, do those NAPs affect the other neighbourhoods or is it limited to just the one town?
Having a look at Eco Living for its CAS items, I have to agree - it does seem to have better items than City Living. Everyone seems to have so much fun at the festivals though, I thought it would be better than NAPs and such. Maybe I’ll have to have a rethink. I’m not planning on getting the next set of packs until April though (to give me time to check out the new ones I just got), and I’ll probably get Get Together for that. So I’ve got plenty of time to figure out what to get after that. Though you do make a good case for EL 😆.
All the kids managed to get three aspirations because I would swap between them depending on what they were doing. Leo and Lyric always seem to finish their homework faster than Ivy. Thank you for the compliment about the bedroom! I feel I’m finally getting better at decorating - possibly because I’m inspired by everyone else’s being so good!! The cats are tending to leave a lot of hair balls around recently so I’ll have to get the kids and Lia into brushing them more! Leo doesn’t seem to be a complete clone but he does have a lot of Lia’s features. However, he does have his own look, which is really cute 🥰. I’m two game days away from aging up the twins, so then I’ll have to start really thinking about an. I am still leaning towards Lyric because of her traits, aspiration and career, but it might depend a little on how she and Ivy age up.
The family vacation was fun but I’m wondering whether I should implement the opposite of your heir-choosing policy in that the one who doesn’t end up on fire is the smartest and therefore should be heir 🤣. Mind you, there is still plenty of time before the twins are YAs, so Lyric could still do something stupid!
I found the old thread of RWC and have been slowly reading through that and then the new thread, and so have been reading about Lia’s ancestors. Unfortunately, since I do it on a device, I haven’t actually seen many of the pictures, nor have I got up to where Lia is born yet. I’d put Greyson and Lawrence in my save but that might be a bit awkward if they ended up marrying anyone from my family 😂.

@OJenn seems last time I read the forum, little Bramble was just born in game! I was sure I had already commented on that, but maybe not??? Anyway, Bramble's such a funny/quirky name, especially for me, a non-english native. And he turned out to be super cute! Olive's such a great big sis with him, I love her. She aged up into such a fun girl. Aaaaah so much happened without pics lol! The next gen is all grown up! And they all look so handsome

@Francisca464 I loved the NPCC mod, a lot! I'm just... annoyed that it hasn't been updated in so long for free, so I took it out before it messed up my new save. My sims will travel back and forth to Batuu, so I'm sure the game could break again. The health of my game comes before ugly townies spawning lol. I haven't read much yet but I hope you like my lots if you downloaded from the gallery?? Like... I'm really not a builder and I think all of them are a mess, but hey, I hope they work out for you. I need to redo most of them as I'm not happy with how they look. And OH BOY the in-Greene matches lol. I mean... they might be unholy unions, but I don't really mind them lol.

I think to answer your question on the bigger pictures you have to have the better camera. If you're using the smaller digital camera you only get small pictures. When you click on them, you get the option to frame. Also, I love the tiny living pack.

Long update ahead!!
Sunday morning started off ordinarily enough. It was a bit cold, and Heath had just started to make breakfast when something caught his eye.

Somehow, while lighting the fire, Leo caught fire for a second time! (I'm now afraid to let him do anything related for fear of him killing himself!) Fortunately, both his parents were quick to put him out this time
The cats weren't too happy with Leo though. Mimi and Winter were doing synchronised spins for several minutes!
Leo wasn't too happy about catching on fire again so he took a bubble bath. Winter followed him into the bathroom and her expressions seems to be "if I grab his towel, that will teach him for starting a fire!"
Since it was a cold day, everyone stayed home. Leo practised his chess, Lia knit a rug for Ivy, Heath read to Ivy, and Lyric did some extra homework.
Winter brought Lyric a present of broken fossils. Leo wanted to know why Winter didn't bring one for him!
Heath decided to make butternut gnocchi for dinner. I don't think that's how it's supposed to be made, Heath!!
The next morning, Leo was up bright and early for his job as a barista.
A very pregnant Fawn arrived at work and chatted to Lia about the upcoming arrival.
She looks a little scared here though when Heath promoted her to Level 3!

Geoffrey Landgraab died of old age. Lia had only met him the day before and become good friends, so she was very sad. Heath decided to cheer her up with a kiss and this was her reaction
And before they knew it, it was the twins birthday!! Ivy aged up with the Bookworm trait, the Musical Genius aspiration, and her hobby being the guitar. She got a guitar and violin as a present.
Lyric aged up with the Active trait, the Friend of the Animals aspiration, and her hobby being Vet. (see why I liked her rolls!) She got a workout machine as a present.
Comparisons with their parents. Ivy has Lia's hair colour, eye/nose/mouth shape; and Heath's eye/skin colour, and face shape. Lyric has Lia's eye/nose shape, and eye/skin colour; and Heath's hair colour, and face/mouth shape. I think that makes Lyric possibly the best genetic mix.

I can't believe Leo caught fire again! It seems I can't turn my back on him for a second! The cats weren't very happy with him either; I don't know where Harley was but Mimi and Winter absolutely panicked!! They just kept spinning for ages.

This challenge has made me get my sims out of the house more and visiting other locations, which I hadn't really done before. I know - I don't know why Leo's so much cuter!! All the teens now have a new camera that will hopefully give them bigger pictures!
Welcome back! Your sims in my game have been fairly quiet except for the amount of announcements going on! Clara and Emilia both got married, Clara had a baby girl Lyla, and Rory just got someone pregnant! I can't do plain bedrooms, I don't know why
But do the other towns also have NAPs? Because I don't want to be dealing with them outside of Evergreen Harbour.
