Erik had a Meet & Greet, plus a concert to perform. So, he worked it out with his agent to have both events at the very same venue. He even invited his Dormmates to join him for an evening out.
What Erik didn't count on was this had to be the coldest night all winter long. The Meet & Greet went very well. His agent phoned to let him know he'd earned a trophy, a Gold Trophy. Erik sang his heart out, too.
"Thank you all for hanging in there with me. It's freaking cold out here! You've all been great. I love you!"
With that Erik ended his show. He found it a tad difficult to Bust-A-Move without slipping on the snow.
By the time they got back to Wyvern Hall, the last thing Erik needed was to hear the song he wrote being sung by his romantic rival. Immediately, he found himself in an unsavory mood. All the delight from the evening washed away with the strains of another Sims' not so refined vocals. To say nothing of the way he screeched those violin strings. Painful. All Erik knew is that Joe's information had him tied up in knots. He had to speak to Kayleigh.
"This Boy," Ryo sang. Erik had written the song just weeks ago, imagining what it would feel like to have such a rival. Now he knew what it was like, he wanted to bust the Sims' face. How dare he presume anything about Kayleigh. She had been Erik's girl since high school. Does she need me to fight for her?
"Kay-Kay," Erik said, as she came out of the elevator. "Come sit with me, we need to talk. I've been doing some serious thinking, lately."
"Oh? What about?"
"Us," he said, quietly.
"Us? What about us?"
"As in are we okay?"
"Not, if you're breaking up with me we're not."
"What? Who told you that?"
"Ryo said he heard you were going to breakup with me, that's who. He said he's my friend and no one else was kind enough to clue me in."
"Oh, yeah? He said that did he? If that wasn't Joe's violin he's been using, I'd bash his head with it."

"Well, don't look at me, Joey is so shy he could barely ask me to be his girlfriend. Are you telling me Aaron has popped the question?"
"I'm not saying any such thing. Just that rumors are running rampant."
Amid the prattle, Erik decided to jump ahead. "Kayleigh, we've only got a few nights before Winterfest. What do you say about you and I sneaking off to have a really nice dinner somewhere? Put on your best dress and be ready by seven, if that's not too late for you."
"Hm, my best dress? Just where did you have in mind, dare I ask?"
"You can ask, but you'll just have to wait and see."

The limousine pulled up in front of The Star Club, a very posh restaurant in Newcrest. "Oh, Erik. How did you know I always wanted a chance to dine here?"

"I have had this planned for several weeks now. I had a speech prepared and everything, but the other night our conversation had me very concerned. All the flowery words have left me. So, I'm just going to wing it, if you don't mind. Kayleigh, Sweetheart, I can't even begin to imagine what life would be like without you right by my side. I love you, I adore you. You are my best friend. The very thought somebody else could steal you away from me … I haven't slept very well recently. I don't want to lose you. Ever. Please say you'll be my wife. Fans, Paparazzi and all."

Erik and Kayleigh enjoyed the rest of their evening. Erik realized once they changed their clothing, that Kayleigh was right. He felt more the part of a Groom-to-Be and she looked fabulous. How she got her hair all braided, twisted and up so quickly, still boggled his mind. They thanked the Wait Staff, the Chef and the Mixologist for their part in this special evening, paid handsome tips and finally headed back to the Dorm. They both had Classes the next day.
Stepping off of the elevator, Erik was hit with a wave of euphoria. Without raising a fist, he'd just won the 'fight'. He wanted to shout it from the rooftop. Kayleigh was his. Really his.
"I don't think we should say anything right now."
"What, did you lose your ring?"
"No, it's in my purse. I'm just thinking about my sisters and your brothers. I don't know if your brothers are even contemplating marriage, let alone with one of my sisters. I don't want to ruin Winterfest for them."
"Kay-Kay, we have to say something and right away. You saw the Paparazzi. The story will be in all the papers and all over the Internet. Better we tell them, than for them to hear it second-hand."

Joey thought long and hard about what his future plans were. Yes, he was taking the courses required for him to get into Med School, a dream of his since he was a kid. But, he also loved Astrid, even though he was hard-pressed to show it. Always reserved, pragmatic about most things, he was also on the shy side. He finally decided the time had come for him to act.
"Astrid, would you accompany me to dinner tonight?"
"I'd love to, all studying and no play makes for a cranky Sim."
"Now, where have I heard that one before?"

"Where are we going?" Astrid asked as they slid into the back seat of the campus taxi.
"Val's Bar & Grille. Nothing fancy. I hope that's okay with you."
"Just knowing I get to spend some alone time with you is enough. I don't need fancy. You should know that already." She winked.
"Here's your table," the Hostess said. She was dressed in a gorgeous, velvet and satin 18th century style dress.
"Wow, this place has ambiance. Look at her dress! This is fabulous. It's like we stepped back in Time. I love it."
"Great, I was hoping you would. I have a question for you."
"I hope I have an answer for you."
Joey got up from the table and then was instantly down on a knee.
"It won't be easy, up front. I have Med School and won't be making any money until I'm promoted to Resident. You may have to work for awhile. But I would be most honored if you would consent to be my Bride."
"Oh, my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Joey. Yes. Yes. Yes!"
"How did you — never mind. It's enough to know you managed a ring. I love you Joseph Alastair Cantrell, Jr."

"We're going to have an exciting life," she breathed as she kissed him.

"I hope the remodeled Chez Llama is to your liking," Aaron said, as they also took a taxi to Willow Creek. "With you being a Culinary Student, I figured the Experimental Dining Experience might be one you're well-suited for."
"You're just so sweet, Aaron. I'm just so excited for this evening. We've all been studying so hard and having time alone is so scarce a commodity."
Shown to a table-for-two right away, Aaron took Sandi's arm, pulling her aside. He was a little nervous.
"Stop right here, don't move," he said. Then he went down on a knee.
"Aaron, what are you looking for? Did you lose a contact?"
"I don't wear contacts," he snickered. He was having a bit of trouble getting it out of his pocket. At last it was free.
"Sandi, I love you. Dad taught us all that when it's right we would know it. Well, it's right for me. As I hope it's the same for you. Will you be my wife?"
"Aaron, this is crazy. First Erik and Kayleigh, then Joey and Astrid. Now you're asking me, too? Did you guys plan this or something?"
"No, the only one I shared my plans with was my financier."

Dinner was lovely and Sandi made certain they took pictures of their meals. She also asked if she could try a bite of Aaron's dish, to which he was more than happy to share. Finally, the evening ended and they went back to the Dorm. "How should we tell them," Sandi chattered in her excitement. "Should we get them all out of bed, gathered in the foyer, or the study hall? Tell them individually?"
The question became moot as they stepped out of the elevator. Erik was there waiting, like an anxious father when his daughter is out on a date.
"I know that look, been there myself. So, did you have a nice evening out?"
"As a matter of fact," Aaron began."
"We're engaged!" Sandi blurted out.
"Congratulations! I'm so happy for you both. This is great. Isn't this fun? I can hardly wait until we tell the Parents."
"And just how do you propose we do that?" Sandi asked.
"Invite them out to dinner, of course," Erik said. "Then I'll present them with a truly outrageous story weaving events of this weekend into it, and see if they get it."

Batuu is fun when you have the right sims for it, I enjoyed messing with it, though now that reminds me I still need a sim for a new uni run.
So first I picked an old house of mine, that was shared in 2016 and touched it up it's funny how things change aside from simply obtaining new objects so since there are so many pics I'll show you the before and after in two spoilers. It was called legacy family but the new one is now Memory.
I like the new one a lot, it's weird I still use a lot of the base stuff but to me it looks better mixed with the expansion stuff but that's me ha.
Annnyways...
I keep watching them they all seem so different and yet completely alike, I noticed that Merlin seemed to be hopping more than usual and his dad got all excited and joined in...Bailey and her mom are only just barely interested.
Or not, I don't think I've ever had dogs get so sick of their family members they sleep outside in the snow...lol.
Mitzy flirting with her husband after getting him as a client, she's a lawyer...Mitz I believe that's a conflict of interest in some rulebook somewhere not that she cares no one says no to Mitzy.
I left her to work on some documents to grab a snack and noticed Kaiden who was supposed to be making the dogs go outside had decided that was the best time to interrupt her...but they vibe so well she went right along with it I think they are too cute.
Kaiden was playing his guitar and Merlin was howling along and I love how she comes over done with both of them and they break up their jam session...ha these dogs man hehe.

My baby Isabel aged up. She's been a toddler for 4 years. She's actually one of a set of triplets. I aged one up to a child and one up to a teen. Juliette, the third sister, is in the green dress. She also aged up later to young adult.

The party was a lot of fun but nail biting towards the end because I couldn't get a toast done. Finally got it with just a sliver of time left on the clock.
Rachelle and Hinata decided to relocate to a house of their own, so I built them a "tiny" four
bedroom farmhouse in Newcrest. Children are being born and growing up, school, work, holidays, seasons go by.
While taking a relative to her final resting place, Rachelle saw Lawrence.
They discussed the children and caught up on current events. Lawrence decided to play his favorite guitar. The next day, while delivering another dead relative, Rachelle saw this.
She remembers when he played for her. Matthew & Noah are children Octavia & Parker are toddlers Kimberly & Logan are moving out!

Blizzards are so fun. Just explain to me why these kids wear their coats in the house but when

I guess he loved his guitar and couldn't part with it.
It's been awhile now since Kolby's partner Raven died of old age. But he's now got another love interest (His best friends Grand daughter, Alyssa) They both find each other extremely attractive so figured why not She is Luna Villareals daughter.
It was a wintry Saturday morning and Alena decided to happily make pancakes for her two boys, Perry was still doing a gig bartender party having gone well past the hour but they paid excellent bonus so he stayed, she be sure to save some back for him~
The two of them enjoyed an excellent and laughter filled breakfast together.
After they were done and she and GD (Gavin-Derick) did the dishes together, Pinky settled down to refine her routines, she had a lot of big shows coming up and needed to have her best loyal routines perfected and her new ones to the top of their quality.
Perry got home and after giving GD a hug, Alena a kiss, and eating his pancakes, he and his step-son went out to play in the crisp but sunny day.

Then the two settled down for hot coco and a cuddle by the warm fire in the living room.
The evening went on comfortable like that, they cracked up at Pinky's newest comedian show which was called Gnomes Know!
Perry tucked Gavin-Derick in, he was excited that Pinky had agreed if GD was comfortable, Perry could adopt him once they got married making them an even tighter family.
Perry treated Pinky to a massage while she was talking about how close she was to the top of her career that is why she would be working extremely hard this weekend, so he and GD should go to the in pool.
Somehow that conversation lead to the bedroom but hah, they enjoyed themselves and had their own cuddle time while sleeping.
GD had always been a sensitive boy, and school had recently had been very hard on him, he was getting picked on it seemed.
First off, Pinky made a parent teacher conference right away to get this sorted out.
Secondly, she and Perry were already planning too but pushed the date up sooner, they got Gavin-Derick a support kitten to help with his emotions and also responsibility,
The two where instant friends from the very start.
The kitten's name is Patches.
(Literally, he petted the kitten once and they became friends! )
Last night I played in Strangerville. I have a haunted house there with Claire just starting to investigate the town's mystery. Time to solve that craziness before the couple head to Selvadorada for Hayden's aspiration goals.
First of all, Hayden had to deal with paranormal encounters:
At the library in town, Claire plants a spy bug on an unsuspecting scientist.
Back home, she listens to his private conversations.
I had to build a basement room for the listening device table. There was nowhere else I could put it in the house or the yard. I added a archeology table for Hayden and a curved bar for fun. Toffee the puppy has a tiny elevator system so he can access all the house levels.

Arian Diggs, leader of the Public Enemies, took his girlfriend Kylie Combs on a date. All went well. Then the Public Enemies gathered at the Solar Flare, Oasis Springs. Unfortunately so did their enemy club, the Chiefs of Mischief, of which Combs is a member. Next thing, Arian and Kylie had a fight and now the green bar is red but the pink remains.

"Stop right here, don't move," he said. Then he went down on a knee.
"Aaron, what are you looking for? Did you lose a contact?"
"I don't wear contacts," he snickered. He was having a bit of trouble getting it out of his pocket. At last it was free.
"Sandi, I love you. Dad taught us all that when it's right we would know it. Well, it's right for me. As I hope it's the same for you. Will you be my wife?"
"Aaron, this is crazy. First Erik and Kayleigh, then Joey and Astrid. Now you're asking me, too? Did you guys plan this or something?"
"No, the only one I shared my plans with was my financier."
"Yes, I'll marry you."
Dinner was lovely and Sandi made certain they took pictures of their meals. She also asked if she could try a bite of Aaron's dish, to which he was more than happy to share. Finally, the evening ended and they went back to the Dorm. "How should we tell them," Sandi chattered in her excitement. "Should we get them all out of bed, gathered in the foyer, or the study hall? Tell them individually?"
"I know that look, been there myself. So, did you have a nice evening out?"
"As a matter of fact," Aaron began."
"We're engaged!" Sandi blurted out.
"Congratulations! I'm so happy for you both. This is great. Isn't this fun? I can hardly wait until we tell the Parents."
"And just how do you propose we do that?" Sandi asked.
"Invite them out to dinner, of course," Erik said. "Then I'll present them with a truly outrageous story weaving events of this weekend into it, and see if they get it."
"Erik, you're just too much."

Batuu is fun when you have the right sims for it, I enjoyed messing with it, though now that reminds me I still need a sim for a new uni run.
So first I picked an old house of mine, that was shared in 2016 and touched it up it's funny how things change aside from simply obtaining new objects so since there are so many pics I'll show you the before and after in two spoilers. It was called legacy family but the new one is now Memory.

I keep watching them they all seem so different and yet completely alike, I noticed that Merlin seemed to be hopping more than usual and his dad got all excited and joined in...Bailey and her mom are only just barely interested.
Or not, I don't think I've ever had dogs get so sick of their family members they sleep outside in the snow...lol.
Mitzy flirting with her husband after getting him as a client, she's a lawyer...Mitz I believe that's a conflict of interest in some rulebook somewhere not that she cares no one says no to Mitzy.
I left her to work on some documents to grab a snack and noticed Kaiden who was supposed to be making the dogs go outside had decided that was the best time to interrupt her...but they vibe so well she went right along with it I think they are too cute.
Kaiden was playing his guitar and Merlin was howling along and I love how she comes over done with both of them and they break up their jam session...ha these dogs man hehe.

It was a wintry Saturday morning and Alena decided to happily make pancakes for her two boys, Perry was still doing a gig bartender party having gone well past the hour but they paid excellent bonus so he stayed, she be sure to save some back for him~
The two of them enjoyed an excellent and laughter filled breakfast together.
After they were done and she and GD (Gavin-Derick) did the dishes together, Pinky settled down to refine her routines, she had a lot of big shows coming up and needed to have her best loyal routines perfected and her new ones to the top of their quality.
Perry got home and after giving GD a hug, Alena a kiss, and eating his pancakes, he and his step-son went out to play in the crisp but sunny day.

The evening went on comfortable like that, they cracked up at Pinky's newest comedian show which was called Gnomes Know!
Perry tucked Gavin-Derick in, he was excited that Pinky had agreed if GD was comfortable, Perry could adopt him once they got married making them an even tighter family.
Perry treated Pinky to a massage while she was talking about how close she was to the top of her career that is why she would be working extremely hard this weekend, so he and GD should go to the in pool.
Somehow that conversation lead to the bedroom but hah, they enjoyed themselves and had their own cuddle time while sleeping.
GD had always been a sensitive boy, and school had recently had been very hard on him, he was getting picked on it seemed.
First off, Pinky made a parent teacher conference right away to get this sorted out.
Secondly, she and Perry were already planning too but pushed the date up sooner, they got Gavin-Derick a support kitten to help with his emotions and also responsibility,
The two where instant friends from the very start.
The kitten's name is Patches.
(Literally, he petted the kitten once and they became friends!

I had to build a basement room for the listening device table. There was nowhere else I could put it in the house or the yard. I added a archeology table for Hayden and a curved bar for fun. Toffee the puppy has a tiny elevator system so he can access all the house levels.

Arian Diggs, leader of the Public Enemies, took his girlfriend Kylie Combs on a date. All went well. Then the Public Enemies gathered at the Solar Flare, Oasis Springs. Unfortunately so did their enemy club, the Chiefs of Mischief, of which Combs is a member. Next thing, Arian and Kylie had a fight and now the green bar is red but the pink remains.
