Since the last patch (Caribbean patch) I’m experiencing these issues on my Laptop but NOT on my Desktop:
Jogging is broken. Sim will often jog around the lot, stop gaining skill halfway through, and have to jog back to the front of the lot where they started jogging from, and then they will jog correctly.
Sims routing is also really weird. When cancelling an action the Sim will keep heading the way they were going and then do an unnatural uturn toward the destination.
Another weird routing issue is that Sims will jump around a lot via teleportation. In and out of seats etc. I wanted my Sim to pay the bills as she was heading downstairs so she teleported to the mailbox and then back to the stairs and did the animation for opening the mailbox as she flew in mid air
Also, all my trees etc are either Highlighter Yellow and Pink, or a weird Grey/Orange during fall.
None of these happen on my desktop though, the game is running perfectly.
Also my laptop is getting hotter than it usually did before and disabling Seasons did nothing.

With the coloured trees issue, try turning off laptop mode and see if that helps.
With the jogging issue, other simmers have found that there is an issue with 19 Culpepper apartment. If that is where your sims live, you may like to post feedback on this AHQ EA thread

Btw I’m not saying that computers are the issue here because that isn’t always the case by any means with many issues. I’m just saying that I understand the OP because I have seen issues like this be worse on laptops vs desktops. Like simulation lag for example, constant on my laptop. Barely noticeable on my desktop.
I do think the trees are laptop mode issues though. Unfortunately laptop mode causes a lot of graphical issues because of what it is. No shadows, tree colors are off, and I’ve also heard snow can’t be seen through windows. It’s minimizing performance to keep the game running so it makes sense.
