purchase new expansion pack

I went to walmart to purchase sims4 seasons, there was a card to use to purchase instead of a game case, at the checkout, the transaction goes as far as total then waiting for activation, the register prints out a message about a failure to activate and automatically voids the transaction. This happened 3 times , same message, so there is a bad batch of cards. Just need to know if anyone else had this problem. Its not the store so thers has to be something else. This occurred at 2 different stoes.

You would need to first log into your origin account. Then on the top left hand side of the screen, press the Origin label. There is a drop down menu, and so choose the option to “redeem product code” Type in there the product code that is on the game card. Then the game will be added to your “ Games Library” section. Click on the sims 4 picture in Games library, then click the expansion packs button that is half way down the page. You can then download/install Seasons there.
