Sim stuck as skeleton

I posted about this in the general discussion area and got a few responses with suggestions but nothing has worked, so I'm presuming this is a bug?

My sim visited Selvadorada and became a skeleton. She has been one now for around 2 sim weeks, maybe longer. I can't find any kind of cure in the game and can't reset my sim.

I don't use any mods. Please help! This is my main sim that I have played forever and really don't want to start over

Could you try typing into the cheat bar
testingcheats true
Press enter
Type in
resetSim firstname secondname
( replace with his actual first and second names)
Press enter and see if that helps.


I am not sure if this cheat is still working but you could try using this cheat

traits.remove_trait Trait_Hidden_Skeleton_ServiceSkeleton

I've just tried the shift+click cheat too and if I click reset object, nothing happens. I tried turn into plantsim and it just turned my sim into the blue/green skeleton with leaves on!

Try usimg the Skeletal Transmogrification Blessing on your sim.to give him the skeleton buff again. Then after the buff time has completely passed, it may return him back to normal

I am sorry that you are having these issues
Try seeing if evicting the sim, then going to manage households and placing the sim back into their original home may perhaps help.

Having your sim visit Selvadorada again and going to the temple, may also perhaps help.

I have tried those things too. I will be starting a new game for now as I don't think there's any fix for this at the moment. Thanks so much for taking the time to help me Rosemow

You can use this mod by TwistedMexi to get the cheats back, and then try the cheat traits.remove_trait Trait_Hidden_Skeleton_ServiceSkeleton that rosemow posted earlier. You can also try the cheat sims.remove_buff Buff_Skeleton
